Elan Preschool, Haywards Heath

I can’t rate Elan Preschool highly enough.
My daughter loves it there and is supported and nurtured there.
In regards to updates as a parent, Elan are open and understanding to family needs and change in circumstances and have been clear and reflexive throughout the COVID pandemic.
Food is of a high standard too and my daughter will often request meals she has had at childcare centre at home.
My daughter will be sad to leave when she starts school.

She is delighted to go each day and comes out at the end of the day full of smiles and stories of what she’s been upto. Her language and reasoning have clearly come on since she has been there. Overall, the most telling thing for me though leaving my kid at Elan while I’m at work is that she talks about the team at home and refers to them as her friends, and is clearly highly cheerful there. Our new baby will go to both sites in due course, and I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Elan Pre-School to others. My thanks to the team. My three-year-old daughter attends Elan Pre-School three days a week, having moved up from the nearby childcare centre site last year.

By the end of her first week (4 days) at Elan she had settled in and already decided she liked it. My granddaughter has built a great rapport with her keyworker also likes another member of team and has a particular fondness for the chef. Cheerful and keenly confident to attend Elan speaks for itself. My granddaughter began at this childcare centre, having pre-COVID attended its sister childcare centre at Horsham.

The educators are all remarkable and she speaks of everyone of them so highly. The activities are engaging and she consistently comes home saying she’s had the best day. I would highly suggest Elan Preschool – Haywards Heath. My daughter has loved Elan Preschool – Haywards Heath from the minute we moved her to there in January 2020.

He loves preschool and comes home full of excitement from the enjoyable he’s had throughout the day. The setting provides a secure and cheerful setting for all the kids, with fantastic welcoming team who are expert and attentive to each kid’s needs and development. The pre-school is managed truly well, and we have been especially impressed with their approach during the Covid-19 pandemic, with clear updates throughout about the changes that have had to be implemented. The whole team have made coming back after lockdown a highly easy transition for both kids and parents alike. I would suggest this setting to others without any hesitation. My son has attended Elan Preschool for the past 18 months, and prior to this attended the Childcare centre setting too.

He truly enjoys the preschool. They provide a broad range of activities for the kids throughout the day, excellent facilities and the opportunities to take part in additional sports and music activities. The setting provides a secure and cheerful setting for all the kids, with fantastic and welcoming team. I would suggest this setting to others without any hesitation. My son has attended Elan Preschool – Haywards Heath for the past one and a half years and prior to this attended Elan Preschool – Haywards Heath from the age of six months.

Elan has a knack of recruiting the most fantastic team that are attentive, enjoyable and full of energy. Both my kids loved every minute and have emerged as cheerful, confident kids, ready for school. The activities are well structured and varied and provide a lovely balance of free playtime, physical activity and discovering opportunities. I’ve consistently felt the team know my kids truly well and are tailoring activities to their development/ability. I’m told the food is better than at home.
More generally, the preschool is well run, with excellent parent communications, truly efficient admin on the bills side, clear policies and management that truly welcome and respond to parent feedback. I’ve even turned to them for advice when I’ve been worried about a parenting issue and they will consistently help. I asked my daughter ‘Why do you like preschool?’ and she said ‘because I laugh so much.’ I think that says it all. Both my kids went to Elan and I cannot rate them highly enough.

After just 3 months he is recognising letters and spelling his own name (he had no interest in this before!) He comes home leaping and bounding, singing songs about different continents and telling me all about what he has done with his friends and different members of team that day. The team are all so welcoming and have consistently been available to answer any queries or concerns I’ve had. They have a fantastic playtime area outside and more activities planned every day than I could ever think of. I couldn’t suggest Elan more highly! My son has been at Elan Preschool after moving over from the childcare centre setting, and he is having the absolute time of his life.

He is growing into a confident young boy and I can see him discovering so many things. He is highly cheerful going to and coming back from preschool. He is fed well and the team are lovely and attentive. Great luck to the team! Well done! I am highly pleased by the way my son is being looked after at Elan Preschool – Haywards Heath.

The team have been so supportive and encouraging with their development, they consistently go the extra mile to help the kids. In our personal journey, we sense they dedicated a lot of one-to-one time with our kids and truly got to know them. The facilities and range of playtime areas within the pre-school and garden area give a lot of variety and our son is consistently so excited to share what he has been up to and learnt each day. Pre-school has felt like an extension of our family – both boys have loved attending over the years and we will be so sad when our youngest leaves to start school this September.
