Hobby Horse Children's Centre

All round exceptional childcare centre and team, not a bad word to say, would suggest to anyone. Highly comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. My son has been attending here since Jan 2016 and my daughter just started September 2017, they both absolutely adore coming to childcare centre and have exceptional relationships with their key workers and all other team.

He is excited to go to childcare centre and spend time with his friends and do lots of different activities. Highly cheerful with his development and the care he is receiving. My son is highly cheerful here, the team are highly experienced and attentive.

My daughter was with them from the time she was a year old until she was 3 1/2 and now my son is in their care (he is 1 1/2 and will remain there until he is 3 1/2 also). The artistic activities, outdoor time, developmental opportunities and team kindness is outstanding and I highly suggest the childcare centre to all of my friends. In particular, the developmental binders which they keep on each kid are not only thorough and show a real effort to participate in their development and achievements, but they also provide a fantastic keepsake when the kids move onto school. These binders are particularly fantastic for full time working parents, like me, who are then able to see what their kid has been doing over the days/months/years, and reminds me why it is so important for my kids to go to childcare centre, make friends, learn new things and have a fantastic first few years of life! Thank you! I would like to commend the Hobby Horse for providing outstanding care for both of my kids.

For us as full-time working parents, it is reassuring to know she is in secure hands with attentive and attentive carers. All the team are welcoming and consistently cheerful to help. She has just turned two and in the time she has attended the childcare centre we have noticed considerable improvement in her development, social skills and speech. They offer a wide variety of activities which are both stimulating and enjoyable. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre from the age of 11 months and attends full-time 5 days a week.

Since the 1st day there he has been truly well cared for and has learnt many new skills. The team across the childcare centre from the manager to the assistants show a real dedication to the kids and their welfare. Everyone knows every kid’s name which demonstrates how personal the care is for each kid. I found they not only supported my son but also myself when parenthood and my career were challenging. They helped morally through advice and guidance. Most of all, my son is consistently eager to come to childcare centre to playtime and learn in a secure setting which provides a wide range of stimulations whether it is inside or outside of the classroom. We, as parents, are cheerful with the outstanding service the team provides but the most important aspects that my son is cheerful and developing into a confident little boy. My son has been at the Hobby Horse since he was 7 months old.

The team are highly welcoming, and over an unusual time, they have done their best to keep things as normal for the kids. My little boy is now an expert, and he has thrived during his time there. We can not thank the team enough for stepping up to provide a much-needed service to keep us key workers working. The Centre has been open to key workers over a highly tough time; this has allowed me and my husband to continue working knowing our kid is in a secure setting.

My daughter started in September, part time. She instantly took to the childcare centre, and I did as a mum. I had not a single worry when I left her in their care.
I have recently been accepted to the childcare centre which was initially my first choice, however, I will not be moving my daughter as I am so highly cheerful with HobbyHorse. My initial response when visiting this childcare centre; it was bright, colourful, engaging and the team were super welcoming!

Both of my kids adore the setting and the team, they are settled, cheerful, secure and confident. My son started reception a year ahead of the game educationally and I’m confident that my daughter will too when she starts reception year in September. The team are remarkable, they are welcoming, they pick up quickly on both kids’s and parent’s needs, handover is full and detailed every visit. My daughter is a fussy eater, but I can be confident that every day she attends childcare centre, team take the time to encourage her to eat and most of the time her lunch box will come back empty. The office team are equally exceptional, they are exceptionally supportive when it comes to the paperwork, ensuring that everything is well prepared so that I don’t have to spend an unnecessary amount of time dealing with it. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Hobby Horse. I have placed both my kids with Hobby Horse, my first has been attending since 2009 and still regularly uses the holiday enjoyable club.

My son first started attending the childcare centre 6 years ago and stayed there until he started school. When my son started school, his new teacher praised his understanding of phonics, something he had been taught in the pre-school section at hobby Horse Kids’s Centre. His transition to school was smooth as he had been well prepared.

A year later our daughter started at the childcare centre; this time around I didn’t even consider any other settings. My daughter enjoys a variety of playtime activities and loves getting out in the garden in all weathers.

Both of our kids have been highly cheerful at the childcare centre. The care shown by team is outstanding and the setting is lovely. Sports day each year is a highlight. The team are consistently supportive and willing to answer questions, working to your kid’s needs. It is clear they know my kids and their individuality. 5-star childcare centre, I would highly suggest. We absolutely adore the team at Hobby Horse Kids’s Centre; they are like a second family to us.
