April 26, 2018 at 12:00 amOne of the best aspects about Busy Bees in Bicester is the staff. Every person that we came into contact with were fantastic, very friendly, approachable and most importantly, genuinely cared about our children which is so important as a parent. The nursery has a wide range of facilities for children both indoors and outdoors and the standards across the nursery are very high.

November 21, 2019 at 12:00 amMy child spent a few months at Busy Bees Bicester and we left it as soon as we found a better option. The staff were never able to properly communicate what our child did during the day. The only answer we would get day after day was “She played in the garden; we did some counting”. Overcrowded. Even if they claim they meet the child-staff ratio requirement, it’s too many children for that space and especially for the tiny garden.
Even though there are named pegs, it’s always a mess in the clothes/shoes/hats areas because the pegs are much fewer than the number of children. It’s never clean and fresh air inside. My child has been left with a permanent scar on her forehead. I wasn’t able to find out the truth as to what had happened; what they told me wasn’t satisfactory. I recommend against this nursery.

December 25, 2019 at 12:00 amI am pleased with the staff and the staff services towards my daughter and I. I do believe the nursery is lacking in new toys and the play items seem old and in need of renewal. The toys do not seem clean (but eating areas and work surfaces do).

March 6, 2020 at 12:00 amExcellent care of children. Staff really get to know the children and care for them. Managers are always looking for ways to improve the provision. I have always felt my children are safe at Busy Bees and their next steps in development are keenly supported. Frequent feedback is given. Varied, healthy and nutritious meals are served. Different cultures are supported and a wide variety of celebrations and festivals are regularly celebrated. Would certainly recommend.

All of the staff know both my sons by name and are always so welcoming, warm and friendly. Both my little boys have thrived since starting at Busy Bees a few months ago. They have learnt so much and it has been fantastic for their development. It is such a relief to know that my kids are being looked after so well while I am at work. They are always treated so kindly and are made to feel safe and secure while they are at nursery.

October 8, 2020 at 12:00 amA fantastic nursery, the staff could not be more helpful, friendly and accommodating. My daughter starts each day and ends each day with a smile. The food menu is incredibly varied, with my daughter having seconds almost daily. I have not seen inside the building due to covid. Breakfast club is not running either which is a real shame.

March 11, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter started at Busy Bees in September 2020 after much debate about if it was ok to send her when she was only 9 months old, all I can say is that I’m so glad we did. We have noticed such a change in her and seen her develop ahead of what the books say for her age and I’m sure this is down to the fantastic staff at Busy Bees. I cannot recommend this nursery enough the meals are brilliant and very nutritional and the staff are amazing with the children. The new app is brilliant you get daily reports and pictures of what your little one is doing along with regular assessment and can even track you payments etc. Overall I’m so happy with Busy Bees.

March 11, 2021 at 12:00 amBusy Bees Bicester, are amazing. My little girl loves it there. She is always coming home with different paintings and colourings. The new app is also amazing. I love keeping up to date with everything my little girl is doing throughout the day. Seeing pictures of her doing the activities and very happy. The price a month is well worth it. The staff are also amazing, friendly and so kind. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

March 15, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has flourished at Busy Bees Bicester and the care she receives is second to none. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and despite her physical disability, staff go above and beyond to ensure her needs are met. Her keyworker has been amazing and my daughter, without a shadow of a doubt, would not have come on as far as she has without her guidance and support. I am updated regularly on how she is progressing and any queries I have, no matter how small, is always welcomed with a conversation. I would highly recommend Busy Bees to any parents looking for a friendly, well managed and nurturing nursery.

March 15, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son has settled into the nursery really quickly thanks to the staff who have made him feel welcome and always comes home happy. My son loves the outdoor play area and they always have fun activities to keep the children engaged. The menu is varied and our key worker works with us and our son to ensure development milestones are met, concentrating on areas he struggles with. I would recommend this nursery to others.

August 13, 2022 at 12:00 amWe were absolutely terrified of sending our little girl to nursery just after she turned one, but we are now so happy we did and even happier we chose Busy Bees Bicester. The team is friendly and approachable while being professional. They have done an amazing job at transforming my shy baby into a bubbly social butterfly, feels like she is learning something new every day. Our key worker is brilliant and has a very close relationship with our daughter, which is SO reassuring. The menu is varied and seasonal, allergy awareness is brilliant. Would absolutely recommend this nursery!

They have been outstanding in supporting my son (and mum and dad) during his transition period into nursery. They have always been on hand to answer any queries we may have and offer support/advice when needed. His development has progressed rapidly since starting nursery and he comes home with such a smile on his face every day. I am so happy we chose Busy Bees Bicester as our nursery. It really is like a big family who all know the children, even if they are not in their class. I am especially grateful to the wonderful team in Bombo’s one who my son simply loves. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Every morning she can’t wait to go there and everyone in the team makes her feel so welcome, regardless of being in her room or not. We are kept updated throughout the day on the app and always told more at pick up. It feels like they care about her so much and that means the world. Can’t wait to see what the next few months brings as she moves room!

February 8, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son started last September after having spent 6 months out of nursery so I was very worried about the transition but thanks to the very professional, caring and friendly staff, he settled in very well and is now very happy to go in every day.
As a parent, I feel listened to and my queries are always answered.
Thanks to the app, I can see what my son is up to and I especially like seeing all the photos. I feel like his favourite key worker quickly got to know him with all his little quirks and is managing him with love and care which really allows me to be at peace during the day.
So a big thank you to everyone!

March 17, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started right after lockdown eased in 2020 and everything was a bit unsure but I can honestly say I have never been happier with every step they took, from safety precautions to cleanliness of the environment for the children! They have reacted well to all situations that have been thrown at them. I had originally planned to put her into another nursery closer to my work but they were full at the time, I could see how much she loved it and I couldn’t take that away from her so three years later she is still here and still in love with everyone and everything at her preschool! I love receiving photos of what they have been up to in the day and the activities they have planned! She loves the activities they organise on top of the usual day such as a policeman coming in to talk about stranger danger and a football coach coming in to teach them skills! We don’t have a garden at home so I know it means the world to her to be able to explore outside at Busy Bees!
