Bright Horizons Mongewell Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Both our boys have attended the nursery and settled extremely well; the staff and office team are very accommodating, professional and knowledgeable. Both of our children love the outdoor area and the fun activities that they join in with every day. We particularly loved the summer fayre that the nursery did as it enabled us to meet new parents, spend time with staff and see how much our boys love their friends and the nursery as a whole. They were so excited to show us around and their favourite things that they like to do. The staff team are approachable and extremely caring, we are very grateful for everything they do each and every day, we cannot recommend Mongewell enough. The boys cannot wait to tell us each day what they have done/achieved every time they attend.

My daughter has attended Mongewell since she was just over 1. The setting is on beautiful grounds and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The nursery has helped build my daughter into a confident girl ready for big school. We are going to miss everyone at Mongewell. Thank you for helping me to raise a strong confident little girl.

Wonderful nursery with fantastic staff. Both my children currently attend and love it. They’ve both formed great bonds with all the staff and are always happy to be met at the door and to go in for the day. They spend lots of time outside playing, going to forest school, riding bikes and getting muddy which they really enjoy! They do lots of different activities, crafts, singing, playing/role play and always have lots to tell us when they get home about what they’ve learnt (so many things they come out with that I know we haven’t taught them!!) They also eat really well and their meals always sound nice.
Remembering back to when we were allowed into the nursery, I really liked the room set ups as they had different areas for the children in each room, giving them freedom to explore.
I’ll be really sad when they have to go to school and leave Mongewell Park!!

My son has been going here since he was one year old and he has loved every moment. All the staff are super friendly and he has connected with every one of his key workers and gets on great with them. He is always telling me he loves the bike garden and that is his favourite part of nursery and just going outside in general. Another moment he really enjoyed was when Santa came over in a helicopter. The nursery had organised it all and it was just the best experience for him, he wouldn’t stop talking about it.

Our little boy loves Orange Room at Mongewell Park and is really blossoming there. The wide range of activities on offer to the children makes for very interesting days. The room and office staff are caring and extremely good at their jobs. The room leader in Orange Room is brilliant, and the team make a real effort to link activities to specific learning outcomes for the children. The free flow into the garden area is a real bonus for busy little children who like to stay active, and the weekly trips to forest school and the bike garden make our son very happy.

The staff at Mongewell Park are fantastic. The key person consistently goes above and beyond for my daughter, ensuring excellent communications between us, frequent and detailed updates and added extras (such as pictures of our child participating in an activity or some specific feedback directly related to an area that I may be worried about).
The entire staff are flexible, hardworking and approachable. They accommodate all needs for my child and go above and beyond to ensure I am happy with their service. My daughter is so happy at the nursery and I am going to be extremely sad to say goodbye to this amazing team when she moves on to school in September. I would recommend Mongewell Park to anyone.

I have two children at the nursery now. My eldest now 3 years old has gone since he was 1 year old. He has grown and developed and has so much fun, learning. The team have supported us all through Covid and have put a huge amount of effort into keeping our children safe. My youngest has only been going for a couple of months, but everyone has made it easy. Always ready to help, advise and do their best.

Caring, staff and team. Great communication and helpful management, who know the children well. Both my children have been very happy there. Large garden and great sensory indoor toys and activities, including information and communication technology equipment.

My husband and I are so happy that we picked this nursery for our daughter. She previously attended another nursery and made it very known to us that she was unhappy there.

The staff at Mongewell are wonderful. I would highly recommend this nursery (and I frequently do to prospective parents.) My daughter is thriving and knowing that she is so safe and well eases my guilt at being away from her. I love the daily reports with photos showing what she has been up to and what she has eaten. It makes us chuckle when the report says that she has had seconds.

We are eternally grateful to the staff for their support during the potty training period!

Absolutely brilliant nursery, can’t rate it highly enough. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to keep the nursery running smoothly. They have looked after both of my children so well, even when they had special requirements. I have never hesitated in leaving them with the staff as I know they get the best of care and they are happy. I will miss the staff when my child moves on to school.
