The building and garden are spotless and full of enjoyable and educational toys and activities for the kids. We couldn’t suggest the childcare centre highly enough! We’ve had a fantastic journey with Bright Horizons, Waterway.

He is developing highly well and the childcare centre has been a excellent help and assistance with this. They are also highly flexible and have supported us well as new parents. We truly adore Oxford Waterways Childcare centre.

January 13, 2025 at 1:12 amI was highly nervous about her settling back into childcare centre life, as not only had she been with me 24/7 since the Pandemic hit, but she has walking difficulties and I was unsure how she would cope with not having 1 to 1 attention. I can honestly say there was no need to be nervous, as every team member we have dealt with has been incredible. My daughter has thrived, gaining self‑assurance and getting stronger with her walking capabilities. The team have also supported us as parents, reassuring us that she’s in secure hands. My 3-year-old daughter has been attending this childcare centre since October 2021.

January 16, 2025 at 4:34 amFour years ago this Childcare centre was highly different but it has consistently had great facilities, cleanliness, a great menu of food, and secure.
For almost 2 years we were highly disappointed and frustrated with the management and team but finally, now this childcare centre come back to be under control.
As management and team are welcoming and expert and that is truly supportive for the kids and parents.
The only thing that is not so great is the fee, too expensive for full time. My two kids have been going to this Childcare centre.

Lots and lots of activities linked to discovering, and the food is incredible – better than my son gets at home! A cheerful, inviting, well run home from home. A stellar childcare centre in the heart of North Oxford.

April 4, 2025 at 4:16 pmEducators are nice and responsible. One day, when I was coming a bit late, I found a teacher, accompanying my son and playing with him. They have nutritious snacks and a nap in the afternoon. My son talks a lot after he comes back from the childcare centre. My son truly enjoys his time in the childcare centre.

April 13, 2025 at 6:25 amI can see my son is highly developed both emotionally and socially. I can drop off my son in self‑assurance and pick up my son in a cheerful mood!
I can see hygiene is also treated with high importance, as my son has gained the habit of washing his hands regularly! All the team are truly attentive and monitor the kids highly closely.

The team keep me updated via the app, where I can see when she has napped, been changed and what meals she has had. My girl loves coming to this childcare centre.

There are plenty of different activities on offer, which vary in themes throughout the year, to reflect the changing seasons and cultural events. It’s a great childcare centre, full of cheerful kids. The team are attentive and passionate and my kids truly delight in coming to childcare centre.

Outstanding discovering assistance that truly supports my kid in his social and also his academic discovering. They have also been truly incredible in working around my son’s severe food allergies. The facilities are highly adequate. The building is well looked after and there are great resources for the kids’s educational needs. The childcare centre is highly welcoming.

May 1, 2025 at 4:51 pmDespite the usual issues with team turnover, which are sector-wide, there are a great number of attentive, expert team who have stayed in post for years and whom we have got to know well and rate highly highly. Our daughter struggled to settle as a baby and we’ll consistently remember their kindness and skill in helping her through that time. The current manager has made some highly positive changes, and the childcare centre is generally well-managed. Updates with parents has improved recently also. The standard of preschool education seems quite high at the moment and there is a great focus on preparation for school – while having enjoyable of course! Most importantly, our kids have been cheerful, loved and secure, and have made many great friends. This is a consistently great, expert childcare centre which has provided excellent care for each of our kids over the last 7 years.

May 20, 2025 at 12:11 amOur son feels so loved there. The team truly take the time to understand him and his feelings. I consistently sense informed about how he’s doing and get other necessary specifications of the day such as how much he slept and ate. Excellent care at Waterways!

My son has attended this childcare centre since he was 1 year old and is now 2.5 years old and he absolutely loves it. The team members help you in so many ways including if you need assistance having a kid with special needs. The food is highly great, big variety and different options, if your kid has restrictions. The variety of activities they do is also excellent. I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough. The opening hours are excellent if you are a working parent, as they open early(07:30am) and closes late(6pm). All the team members are fabulous.

Team offer a variety of activities to assistance my kid’s development and spend enough time to do the handover at drop off and pick up. The menu consistently looks great, meals are freshly cooked. Would highly suggest this childcare centre. Excellent childcare centre and preschool.
