Description
We have two Nursery Schools in Ashford, Kent. Our original site at Wainwright Place, Newtown is housed in a beautiful old Primary School built originally for the Railway Workers’ children. Due to growing demand for places at our Nursery, we opened a smaller branch in Kingsnorth Road, Ashford in September 2003.
On the following pages you will find brief details of our Nurseries, in which we use the Montessori equipment to aid our teaching. The Nurseries are run with a Christian ethos, whilst incorporating and celebrating other beliefs and religions.
We take children from 2 years old until they reach Primary School admission age, and up to their 8th birthday in the school holidays.
The Nursery School is open to every family in the community. No child will be rejected on grounds of age (subject to the usual limits of all admissions), gender, family status, disability, colour, ethnic origin, culture, religion or belief. Children will be admitted in accordance with Kent County Council guidelines, i.e. three and four year olds eligible for a free Nursery Education place will be given priority over younger children. We will next offer places to siblings of children at Nursery and then on a first come, first served basis. We also offer free places on the Free for 2 scheme (FF2), subject to eligibility and availability of spaces.

July 1, 2020 at 12:00 amIf I could give more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend Cherrytree Nursery, my daughter had an amazing experience and we could not have wished for a better start for her. The staff are fantastic, kind, attentive and really do make all the children and parents feel like part of the Cherrytree family. My daughter has thrived thanks to the great team effort of all the staff. She will really miss the nursery when she starts school in September. As a family both our children have attended Cherrytree nurseries and our eldest who left over 5 years ago still talks of her happy time she spent there. Thank you so much for all you have done for our family, we will miss you all.

July 21, 2020 at 12:00 amCherry Tree team were so welcoming to my two girls, they have created memories for them and supported them to develop in ways that has made me wish they had been part of the Cherry Tree family sooner/for longer.
Special thanks to the two members of staff for the girls initial settling in and setting up their places and along the way offering us continued support and updates around the girls abilities and good times, etc.
Extra special thank you to another member of staff who has become the girls best friend within Cherry Tree!
Definitely a place where children are happy and thrive.
