September 23, 2024 at 5:58 amAs a teacher myself, I am keen for my son to learn and develop his education as well as social skills. The team are very supportive and challenge the kids through playtime.
The team are very compassionate and make time for each kid individually and as a group. They have helped my son in areas where he has struggled and has also made referrals to help him get the extra help he needed in key areas of his development.
I would have no hesitation in trusting the team here to care for my son. He is very cheerful there. My son has been attending Owl and Bear childcare centre for over a year and a half, and I can’t speak highly enough of them.

I would highly suggest Owl & Bear. Both my kids have had excellent experiences with this childcare centre; they adore the team and consistently come home cheerful.

September 29, 2024 at 4:35 amMy daughter started at, what was then Monkey Puzzle in August 2018 and the team and setting were incredible.
I don’t want to say too much for fear of breaching the review policy on here, but suffice to say that the childcare centre is not what it once was. To the point that we are removing my daughter to a new setting.
My concerns were raised with the childcare centre on a few occasions and actually saw some improvements made, but there is so much more that I sense could be done.
Also, the team listed on this site are no longer present at Owl and Bear, as turnover in that area is one of the highest I have ever seen in my 25-year career. My previous review was a glowing 5 stars.

My kid self‑assurance has grown so much since going to Owl & Bear she has also come on leaps and bounds with her speech, discovering new things everyday. She enjoys going in on her days and the garden area they have is large and full of different outdoor equipment, it was the main reason I picked it and she loves being outside. I have and will keep recommending Owl & Bear. The Owl & Bear childcare centre in Walderslade have been remarkable helping my kid settle into childcare centre life.

The team there are incredible and extremely welcoming. My daughter has had a excellent time since she started there and I am very impressed and grateful for the regular updates they give me on her day. I highly suggest them to any and every one! My daughter has been attending Owl & Bear since the beginning of January.

He takes a personal interest in the kids, again updates is exceptional and they are very reassuring, especially as a first-time mum, that your kid is cared for. Exceptional Childcare centre.

Consistently so welcoming and are quick to help with anything needed. It’s consistently hard to see your firstborn go to childcare centre and they have made the process so easy and went above and beyond to meet every need. Incredible childcare centre.

March 22, 2025 at 2:38 amWe had some issues with his previous childcare centre not being able to meet his needs and after talking with the childcare centre manager I felt confident this was a better fit. All my expectations have been exceeded. Team are incredible and go above and beyond to create a cheerful setting that the kids are able to thrive in. My son is like a different kid in the short time he has been attending. The facilities are outstanding and provide a wide range of discovering and playtime experiences for the kids. I recently began sending my son to Owl & Bear and could not be happier.

My son settled in very well and loves the childcare centre. He has come on in leaps and bounds, his speech is improving and his self‑assurance has grown massively. The childcare centre team are attentive and welcoming. I can also tell that kid safety is important and this makes me sense cheerful knowing my son is in secure hands.
My son goes to childcare centre with a smile on his face and when I pick him up his smile is still there. My husband and I are very grateful to all the team who care for my son. My son has been going to Owl & Bear – Walderslade Daycare since he was 9 months old.

The team were exceptional with him and us, his first day went without a hitch, he came running out beaming and we couldn’t be happier.
Would highly suggest this lovely childcare centre. We were recommended this childcare centre by a work colleague, they are very accommodating and will go out of their way to accommodate requests.

We are sad to be leaving but it’s time for us for a new adventure.
I thank all of the team at Owl & Bear – Walderslade Daycare for making both my kids sense cheerful and content and secure when they aren’t with me. Both my kids have attended this childcare centre and they both have grown in self‑assurance stupendously.

July 4, 2025 at 10:34 amThe team have been exceptional with understanding the twin’s different needs and personalities, and are consistently on hand to listen to any concerns about development and work with you (one twin has a speech delay). I would definitely suggest the childcare centre and have already enrolled my baby for when I return to work from maternity leave. My twins have been attending the childcare centre for 18 months now and they adore it; both run through the door as soon as it’s opened!
