Tops Day Nurseries: Newport Nursery

What a fantastic place, very welcoming and supportive. My son was born in the middle of the pandemic so hadn’t really meet any other children, all of the staff have really supported him to interact with others children and different adults. All of the staff are very positive and the food options that are offered are fantastic and cater for lots of different needs. Definitely recommend.

My son has been going to Tops since he was in the baby room. I can’t fault the care that they have given him. All staff are really pleasant and carrying, and the manager is fantastic.
The rooms are always well prepared for the children providing lots of fantastic activities and chances of exploring different textures. Gives the children great learning experiences.
The nursery provides observations in a timely manner, and I was constantly aware of what was going on in my sons day via the app they use.

My daughter has been attending Tops nursery in Newport for almost a year and a half and she absolutely loves it. She can’t wait to go and loves telling me all about what she’s been doing. They have so many activities to do that she is constantly stimulated, she loves doing the boogie mites. The staff are all amazing and she talks about them all the time. She has come on really well with her speech, counting, knowing the alphabet and singing songs. I can’t fault Tops nursery at all, they all do a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

A really amazing nursery that has always felt like home for my 2 children. They come home tired because of all the things they have done and the fun they have had! My youngest started there when she was one and it made going back to work just that little bit easier knowing they would care for her with such high standards. She has grown with confidence and engaged in activities that she loves (when I asked her, she said painting was her favourite). I will be sad when the day comes for her to go to school.

I enjoyed watching my grandson do the dancing on line and like seeing all his photos having a wonderful time at the cabin. He loves going and has made some lovely friends. I have seen his confidence and conversation grow so much these last few months. Thank you very much.

My daughter has attended Tops since September 2020. There isn’t a single negative thing that I can report and would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare. We chose Tops because my nephew thrived there but also because of their flexible booking system. If I had known just how amazing they would be for my daughter then I would have chosen them regardless of those things. Nothing is ever too much trouble and every member of staff that we have come across has been caring and nurturing. My daughter has a speech delay and from the very first discussion around this, the SENCO and my daughter’s key workers have put in place everything possible to support her and make sure that she (and us as parents) are supported. We are very lucky that Tops is our childcare setting and look forward to the next 2 years our daughter gets to spend there. Thank you for everything!

Such a lovely nursery! We are so happy we listened to all the positive reviews and enrolled our daughter this September. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and there are lots of activities indoor and outdoor for the little ones to do which I hear all about at the end of the day! Our daughter suffers with food allergies and Tops have been amazing with accommodating her needs, we feel she is very safe with them which is top on the list on our priorities. She has a wonderful time while also learning new skills, which we love being sent photos of while she’s there. Although she has only been attending a short time I know we have made the right choice and we’re excited for her to progress with Tops over the next couple of years.

I just can’t fault them. No matter what happens I’ve never felt safer and my toddler is never happier. She actually cried because she couldn’t go to nursery when she was unwell. She loves all the staff and always wants to tell me about the new and interesting things that she’s done that day. From first steps to first words, they have been there to encourage and care for her. All through the pandemic when I was working long hours, they made me feel safe and happy and not like a rubbish parent, which as a single mum who sometimes does feel a bit rubbish means a whole lot. They’ve helped me with everything, even potty training, which I just had no clue about, they were able to support both of us. I love Tops Newport Nursery, they simply are the best!

My little girl loves nursery. Their rooms are well thought out and she is always doing fun activities. They take the time to read books with her and grow her confidence. The food is amazing and we feel listened to and supported.

I don’t have enough stars to give them. Tops Day Nurseries is the best choice I ever made for my little girl! She attends nursery three days per week and when she is not attending she cries because she wants to go to school she says. When I come to pick her up she gets grumpy because she wants to stay more. She loves being there. Thank you so so much for all the hard work all the staff are doing and to the parents who don’t know if to bring their kids to Tops Day Nurseries all I can say is: bringing on, you’re not going to regret it!
