Special thanks to the toddler and baby team, who have been nothing but welcoming, supportive and loving to my daughter. My daughter has thrived since joining Oaklea a year ago.

October 27, 2024 at 5:34 amI surely had trust in leaving my kid without fear, knowing that he was in great hands. The school does have respect for parents and has no bias towards racism. They treated everyone the same despite differences. Expert, conduct and welcoming educators.

October 31, 2024 at 4:44 pmThey have super, lovely team and do so many activities with the kids. I would highly suggest it. The team are consistently informative and supportive, and we will miss them when my daughter moves on to school. My daughter attends here, and she has the best time.

December 11, 2024 at 3:15 amI cannot thank the childcare centre enough for the nurture, care and excellent enjoyable they have provided for him. He has consistently been so comfortable and cheerful at Oaklea, and as he has got older, he can’t wait for his childcare centre days and to get dressed in the morning and go in. I adore hearing him talk about the team he adores and the friends he has made. He has learnt so much, he is confident with his numbers, his letters and being compassionate to others; he is really prepared for school!
I want to pass on my heartfelt thanks to all of the team that have worked with him. He is a cheerful, confident, full of life little boy, and that is a credit to all of their work and care for him.
I also want to thank the catering team as he has really enjoyed his food at childcare centre and eats such a variety of food due to the menu they provide.
Thank you, from a very grateful Mum! My son has been at Oaklea House Day Childcare centre part-time since he was 3-months-old; he is now coming up to his 5th birthday and moving on to school.

December 27, 2024 at 9:52 pmThe team are remarkable and build excellent relationships with the kids, treating them all as individuals and getting to know them well. The food menu is varied and we can view the menu in advance. The outside space is well maintained and the kids spend a lot of time playing outside which my daughter loves. They do a lot of activities, such as art, reading, sensory playtime, dressing up, dancing and discovering. They have helped my daughter massively with potty training also.
Parking during peak times can be problematic as they have a small car park that doesn’t have designated spaces. My daughter is consistently very cheerful when we arrive at Oaklea House Day Childcare centre and gets excited seeing her friends and the team.

January 1, 2025 at 8:20 amI looked into other nurseries but had a excellent feeling about this one and had only heard excellent things.
I was worried about my son joining a childcare centre after being with his close family all of the time during the lockdown. I didn’t need to worry, the team were outstanding, and my son absolutely loves going.
The team are just exceptional, better than I could have asked for. The food they provide is outstanding, they also take on board any development areas you wish to focus on for your kid.
All I can say, my son loves it, and I have peace of mind knowing what a excellent place it is for him. My son joined Oaklea in early 2021.

January 21, 2025 at 2:14 amMy little boy is kept busy every day with activities and found it easy to settle in and sense comfortable.
Every day, a member of the team comes out to tell you what the kids have been doing/what they’ve eaten etc, and are very informative. The food that is given is healthy and nutritious, and they have a 5-star rating for hygiene!
Most of all, I sense like the team all adore my little boy as much as I do, and they care/look after him, making us sense comfortable to leave him knowing he is secure, well looked after and having lots of enjoyable! Lovely childcare centre with inviting and welcoming team.

February 6, 2025 at 6:29 pmThe reason for our choice was we were extremely impressed by the overall standard of team, the updates they had with the kids, the structure the team instilled, and how the kids were so confident in themselves and how chatty they were. This was witnessed during our visit when we were selecting nurseries.
We were not wrong in our choice. Oaklea has bought out the best in our daughter. A girl who wasn’t very outspoken or confident is now the complete opposite. The Oaklea team really get to know the kids as individuals and tailor their growth plan and care to their individual needs. Despite a large intake of kids, I commend the team for their patience in achieving this.
Our daughter will leave Oaklea this summer, and I know she will miss the team greatly. The preschool team have prepped her ready for the next step. We visited four nurseries in the area, and although we were accepted in another childcare centre that had an ‘outstanding’ status, we decided to choose Oaklea.

The level of updates from the team is top notch.
Our daughter is a very confident young lady, able to express herself very well, with a level of key skills. She will be able to move onto her new school with no problem.

March 16, 2025 at 1:39 amAs a single dad, the team at Oaklea House Day Childcare centre have been absolutely phenomenal during my daughters time here. Not only working with me but guiding me through some of the more challenging behaviours during these precious early years.
Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail in embracing seasons, celebrations and holidays showed years of journey. Their birthday and graduation packs have brought a few tears!
I’m hoping as my daughter makes the leap to ‘big school’ that we sense as well supported and cared for as we have become accustomed to at Oaklea’s.
A huge thank you to all the team at Oaklea’s; you’re providing an outstanding service! Where to start!
