Heath House Day Nursery and Pre School

The quality of education and care has been consistently outstanding. They are compassionate, compassionate, attentive and incredibly patient. My kids have both had such enriching experiences. All team are easy to talk to and relatable. I have had 2 kids go through this childcare centre 10 years apart.

All team are incredible and Key person of my kid is is absoultely remarkable. My kid has severe allergies and I can re assure that this is the best childcare centre that you would looking for if your kid has allergies. They very careful with allergies plan and I felt very much confident to sending my kid there. When she’s moving to pre school the are making sue that my kid is in the best transition due to her special in needs. Team is very pleasant. Lunch time food is excellent. Chef is very much attentive with my kid special dietary requires. I heard that my kid can sit and finish her meal which is very much incredible! From my personal experince this is the best childcare centre.

Both kids started around 18 months and loved the toddler room. It has a secure balcony for outdoor playtime and the kids also spend a lot of time in their forest garden. Both kids settled with their key worker very quickly and it is clear how much the team care for the kids and make it sense homely for them. They use an online journal to keep you informed about what the kids have been doing and photos. As you move through the rooms, the number of kids increases, but your kid consistently has a key worker and all the team know all the kids very well, which I found very reassuring. In pre-school, the focus is on kid-led playtime and exploration, but they did also help with discovering letter sounds and writing when we asked. We will miss Heath House and would highly suggest them. We have had two kids attend Heath House in the toddler room, pre-pres room and the pre-school.

The rooms are spacious for the numbers of kids, with outdoor areas and a shared enclosed forest garden. The team are excellent and work very hard to give the kids all the assistance they need to learn, playtime and grow in a secure and very welcoming setting. The team are consistently cheerful to discuss kids’s needs and ensure any requirements are addressed in the right way. They use an online journal to keep you updated with your kids’s development and what they have been up to including photos together with childcare centre updates, which is easy to use. The childcare centre puts on additional activities using outside providers for an additional cost, stretch and grow and sports for kids. Our daughter loved and enjoyed her time here and we will miss it and all the team when we leave for her new infant school. We would highly suggest them. Our daughter attended Heath House Day Childcare centre and Pre School since Dec 2020, moving through the childcare centre, toddler, pre-pres and pre-school rooms.

We’ve been really cheerful with our choice of childcare centre. Our kids are getting outstanding care, and are consistently cheerful to go in. The monthly next steps are tailored to the kids, clearly communicated to us parents and we get updates on their development as well as a detailed handover every day. The forest area is a massive favourite with both our boys but they also have plenty of opportunities to playtime with a range of toys, information computer technology, role playtime and do different kinds of activities, such as messy playtime, crafting, trips to the park. Our eldest has just graduated and we sense that the childcare centre has done an incredible job preparing him for school. Both our kids are attending Heath House Day Childcare centre and Pre School and between the two of them have covered all four rooms.

He was only there for a term but settled so well and was welcomed completely as if he’d been there the whole time. Can’t suggest them highly enough! So easy to converse with and the app is really handy. My son absolutely loved his time at Heath House.

From baby room through to toddlers, pre-pre, pre-school, our journey has been nothing but positive. Each team within each room have been nurturing and supportive to both our daughter and us, helping her grow by stimulating her imagination and interests with a variety of activities every day, messy playtime, role playtime, structured discovering, storytime, baking, and exploration of the forest. There is consistently something to keep her engaged and amused. The team are expert and attentive, and the assistance teams are also very involved, providing a consistent and familiar face to kids and parents throughout their journey, while the kitchen and catering team do their best to keep the menu varied while also trying to appeal to the fussy eater. I’m sad that our chapter with Heath House is now at an end, but I am truly grateful to all. Our daughter is ready for her next challenge and her first day at big school. Our daughter has attended Heath House since she was 13 months old.

Being a Covid-19 baby meant the extra settling in sessions were really appreciated and made all the difference to her feeling cheerful and settled from her first official start day. The team make the effort to find out what the kids like to do so they consistently have enjoyable. The forest area and gardens are a real asset and excellent for outside playtime and the trips out the team do are an added bonus. Our daughter has been going to Heath House since she was 18 months old and the team have been exceptional from day one.

My son follows a vegan diet when he is in my care whilst at childcare centre because I was the one funding it. Me and his mother both stated we would like him to have a vegan diet. Halfway through the year my ex-partner went in and requested a dietary change without telling me. The childcare centre then put this dietary plan into place without notifying me and without my consent, which I found out through my kid and asked them to return his diet back to how we agreed. They told me they needed both parent’s consent, even though they altered it from vegan to non-vegan without my consent. This caused a huge amount of conflict between me and my ex-partner. I’m guessing the manager at the time was the one who authorised it. So anyone following specific dietary requirements make sure to check they’re following correct protocol and procedure as in my case they only adhered to them after the damage was already done. I have shared custody with a high conflict ex which I made sure the childcare centre knew about.

We sent both of our kids there and they just do a remarkable job. We trust them with all our hearts and would not send our kids anywhere else. Spotless, incredible team, great food, excellent facilities. This childcare centre is incredible.
