January 13, 2025 at 3:31 pmI rang Fairlands on a friends recommendation and they worked so hard to accommodate us and got our son in to start there within two weeks.
He is so cheerful there. They do a wide range of activities so he is getting lots of stimulation that I can’t provide at home, and they know him so well after just three months. They comment on little character quirks of his and things that even close family haven’t picked up on.
The childcare centre itself is lovely and having attended an information evening about their approach to education I am very impressed. But the most important thing to me is that I sense my kid is well looked after and cared for. I couldn’t ask for better! We are so utterly thrilled with Fairlands Day Childcare centre.
We came to Fairlands in a bit of a dire situation, we had registered our kid (8 months old) elsewhere and just as he was about to start there I realised how totally uncomfortable I was with him going there.

My son loves going to the childcare centre, he has already made strong friendships and he loves all the different and varied activities the team do with him.
I could not be happier with my choice of childcare centre. Big thank you to all of the girls in the nest and hatchery room for all their hard work and care, and to all the team at Fairlands Day Childcare centre. Thank you for consistently being welcoming and reassuring during a difficult time. My son joined Fairlands Day Childcare centre during the pandemic.

June 10, 2025 at 5:09 amHe joined at 11 months old and the childcare centre have been exceptional since day one. The updates is excellent – no question is too random (excellent as a first-time parent!) and they have gone above and beyond anything, we could have asked for in a childcare centre. The team really are fantastic. We were lucky enough for our son to join just as the renovations were finishing. The baby room is perfect – an incredible selection of wooden toys, plenty of opportunity for open-ended playtime and lots of messy playtime too! One of our favourite things about Barnkids Fairlands is the outdoor space. The huge field is perfect for young kids and I can’t wait for my son to explore the forest school area as he grows. We are looking at relocating about 30 minutes drive from the area towards the end of this year and have already decided we can’t find a childcare centre as great in our new area so he will be staying here until he starts school! We couldn’t be more pleased with Barnkids Fairlands for our son.
