November 5, 2024 at 5:15 amLittle Shipmates came to the rescue – our son has stayed there since and loves it! The team are attentive, expert and remarkable. It is well run and there is excellent updates with parents. After our childcare centre shut during the first Covid lockdown in 2020, we were really struggling both being keyworkers.

November 8, 2024 at 12:47 pmMy kid has already learned lots of new things in a short space of time. Team are welcoming and accommodating towards my kid’s needs, team have helped my little girl settle in nicely especially at drop off time.
My kid at first wouldn’t want to eat what was offered at lunchtime, however, she will now try bits here and there with a substitute of something she will eat but I personally think the menu needs to be reviewed I would say it’s a required taste but healthy.
The childcare centre is spotless and I consistently see lots of smiley cheerful kids when picking up and dropping off my kid and team are consistently cheerful to give you regular updates on the daily development as well as a personal online tapestry journal for each individual kid.
There are lots of creative activities and enjoyable outdoor space.

February 13, 2025 at 12:52 pmThe team couldn’t be more supportive. My daughter had some health issues and the childcare centre team have worked with us to assistance her. My kids consistently come home cheerful saying how much they enjoyed their day. We will all miss Shipmates as my youngest goes to school. I have had two kids who went to Little Shipmates and both have loved it.

April 26, 2025 at 6:29 pmThe rooms have lots of resources as well as outdoor space. Team are all welcoming and my son loves them all, this makes it so much easier to return to work knowing how cheerful he is there. The meals provided are varied and have meant my son will try more food at home. Any issues are dealt with by management quickly and they have provided me with some supportive ideas about the day-to-day routine to help with toddler behaviour at home! Overall we are very pleased and glad we chose Little Shipmates. My son has been attending the setting since he was eleven months old and we have been extremely cheerful with both the childcare centre and his development.

Everyone is so welcoming and I know that when I pick him up he has had a great day which is consistently confirmed by the NPs. He does so many different activities and he loves interacting with other kids. I look forward to reading through his book every day to find out what he has done and the food he has eaten…. the food aswell consistently is incredible… he eats better than I do! and the tapestry notifications are a nice reminder that he is enjoying himself. I highly suggest Little Shipmates to anyone who is looking for a childcare centre…. I think every parent is consistently wary who you trust your kid with and I can honestly say I have no worries about him spending the day here. All the members of team at Red Cabin are excellent and it’s lovely seeing that my son has a relationship with each of them. Thank you!! Our son started childcare centre in February 2016, at first I was really worried about leaving him and returning to work.
