Alton School Nursery

My son has been at Alton School Nursery for 3 and a half years and has loved every minute. All the staff, from Nest to Red Kites are absolutely wonderful.
They have dealt with his allergies brilliantly since he was a baby.
The outdoor space available to the children is unlike any childcare setting I have seen.
There is a strong attention to education giving the children a chance to begin school learning from a young age.
My son has flourished while there developing great relationships and a great view of the world.
They have been fantastic throughout, especially during the pandemic and I would highly recommend the nursery to any parent.

Our experience of Alton School Nursery has been wonderful. Our son transferred from another nursery when his older brother started at school. When he first started our son was nervous to be in a new setting, he was shown love and compassion until he had settled in. All the staff have been wonderful with him, treating him as an individual and adapting their care to his ability and interests. They provided excellent support through lockdown 1 and a safe learning environment through lockdown 3. The facilities are great, there’s loads of outdoor space and access to some of the school (eg activities in the sports hall on rainy days) which you might not get elsewhere.
I was really sad to be leaving our old nursery but it was absolutely the right choice, we love it at Alton!

Both my daughter and son attended from the age of around 9 months until ages 4. They loved their time at the nursery and the staff are wonderful, fun, engaging and thoughtful to not only the children but the parents too. My eldest was incredibly well prepared for school being ahead of her peers in relation to phonics and maths and also having learnt some Spanish. My youngest is about to start school and has been encouraged so well around his speech which was a little late developing. I would highly recommend the nursery for their care and professionalism in providing my children with a great start in their education.

The nursery at Alton School is fantastic; I cannot praise it highly enough. It provides a nurturing, supportive setting where the children play, grows and learn. My son loves his time there and is always happy to go (as was my daughter when she attended). The staff are beyond amazing and have great relationships with the children and parents. My son loves nothing more than to be outdoors and he is always talking about the walks in the woods. The school has beautiful grounds and extensive woodland for the children to explore. I would definitely recommend the nursery here to perspective parents.

Alton School has given our daughter a home away from home, with outstanding teachers, facilities, and a schedule that works for us as working parents. Their communication via the app with videos and photos provides us a nice connection to frame dinner conversation with our toddler, and she loves telling us about what she was doing and who is in every photograph. I feel secure with their teaching of independent skills, cross-cultural learning, and a healthy love of the outdoors. All in all, we cherish our spot at Alton School. We cherish the staff, and all the friends made through this community. Hope to welcome you and your little to our little parent group too!

My son has been attending Alton School Nursery since nine months old, and I cannot fault the dedication to the children and their needs. The whole team are great. The attentiveness of the staff is second to none. The variety of daily activities on offer as well as the intimate class numbers aids the development of the children. A very organised set up with friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend.
