May 11, 2018 at 12:00 amI can not thank the staff enough at the YMCA Nursery for all of the support they have given my son since he started. He has some learning needs and all the staff are all so happy and willing to support him. He has come on leaps and bounds and I could not be more pleased. He is so confident and happy to go to the nursery and has so much fun while also being in a learning environment. Thank you.

May 11, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son has been at YMCA Nursery since January after we moved to the area.
He has settled in amazingly and really enjoys going.
There is a variety of activities every day and a big garden, full of toys and games.
The staff are amazing and I feel completely comfortable leaving my son in their hands.
I highly recommend this nursery.

May 16, 2018 at 12:00 amMy two girls have settled in really well at YMCA Nursery Andover. The staff are friendly and always there to greet you and tell you about the children’s day. My girls are very happy and run into nursery without looking back most days. The facilities are great and cater for all ages, my girls enjoy the garden the most. YMCA is definitely the best nursery choice for my girls.

March 18, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves this nursery. She has made lots of new friends. They have worked side by side with me on things (potty training) and routines.
The staff are fantastic. She has learnt a lot and come a long way and that is thanks to the staff.
The staff behind the scenes are fantastic as well.

March 18, 2019 at 12:00 amMy little girl has settled in really well. She absolutely loves the staff. Every day is different for her and she does lots of new things. Her development is monitored well and I receive regular updates and photos of her day as well, which is lovely!

March 18, 2019 at 12:00 amI can’t thank the YMCA and all their staff enough for the fantastic care and support they give to my son. The staff are all very compassionate towards the children and my son’s key workers all have a fantastic bond with him ensuring his extra needs are met. I’m particularly impressed with the extra support that’s given from the SENCo leader. She has done such a good job helping with some issues my little one has and ensures all the staff are equally briefed so everyone delivers the same routine for him. Well done to the manager for leading such a great team, all your hard work is much appreciated!

June 21, 2019 at 12:00 amMy little man has been in YMCA for a year and a half and never have I had a reason to complain. My mind is thoroughly at ease and at peace when dropping him off in the morning. The care and support are exceptional. He is always eager to go to nursery. He has also made loads of friends with the other kids and staff alike. The daily activities and learning have helped shaped and developed his learning and speech. We are currently working on potty training and the staff are very supportive in this stage.

I have seen her blossom into a confident and caring child who has been well educated that will serve her well for when she attends reception class. The staff are amazing and are always attentive. They want the best out of every child.

June 21, 2019 at 12:00 amWe can’t thank enough to all the kind, friendly, helpful and supportive staff of this beautiful nursery. We moved to this nursery because of an unfortunate experience with the precious nursery. We are so glad that we made that move.
My twins were not talking and were not socialising with other children when we came to YMCA. It’s only been 10 months now and they both talking and very socialised. When I pick them up, I get an update with all the things they did such as what they ate or what activities they were involved. Every 4-6 weeks we get to sit down and talk about their progress. We are super happy with all the YMCA staff and very sad to leave for the big school. Thank you so much with everything that you did to my babies.

July 10, 2019 at 12:00 amMy little boy has been going to this nursery since he was nine months old (he’s now two). The staff are all fantastic with him, and I’ve seen him come such a long way in the time that he’s been there. Being at the nursery has helped him become a confident, outgoing, inquisitive little boy, and I am absolutely thrilled with his progress.
All the staff are really friendly and approachable and happy to take the time to talk about things I need reassurance on. The nursery itself is a lovely, spacious building, and the three rooms are full of lots of fun things to do for each age group (I know my son is going to adore the castle in the pre-school room when he moves up!).
The garden is a really good size, with many different areas with fun things to do. They use an app to keep parents updated of the kids’ days, so I always know how my boy has eaten/slept, and on collection, I get an update on his day from the staff. Couldn’t be happier – highly recommended!

July 24, 2019 at 12:00 amThe staff are welcoming and they greet the children by name but when it comes to working alongside parents they don’t do this effectively enough. My godson is not school ready and the parent partnership is not to a standard I would expect for my godson.

September 20, 2021 at 12:00 amMy twin boys attended the setting having never been away from me. From the first settling in session, I was made to feel totally at ease and I knew my boys would have the most amazing time. The staff are great – really friendly and informative of anything that needed discussing about my children’s development. I highly recommend the setting and I can confidently say I would not be if I didn’t think it was great!

September 20, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has really enjoyed his time at YMCA. He started when he was just over a year old and has recently left for school and misses the staff already. All the staff have been amazing, especially the SENCO who has supported not only my son but myself, as a parent and nothing is ever too much trouble. I’m looking forward to enrolling my youngest son into the baby room next year.

September 20, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter was one of the first to join YMCA Andover when it opened at just 1-year-old. She’s been through all 3 rooms and started school this September. YMCA provided a fun, safe and supportive environment for her in which she thrived. She was always so excited about her days at nursery. The staff have been fantastic and we are extremely grateful to them all! My son is currently in Toddlers and has 2 years remaining at nursery. He is enjoying every moment and it’s been wonderful to see him grow in confidence.

He has just started reception and is so confident in himself. The nursery staff were so helpful over the years. They are passionate about what they do and I’m very grateful for all they have done for us. Thanks, ladies! Special mention must be made to six members of staff in particular.

The staff are kind and supportive, working tirelessly to give the children their very best. The cooked meals often get a good review from my daughter too. We feel lucky she is there.

The staff are all so caring, kind and they are a big part of the reason that she has developed into such a confident happy little girl. Any concerns have always been dealt with appropriately and fairly.

I have 2 children here and I couldn’t think of a better place for them to be.
The staff are fantastic and really understand each individual child and what they need to progress to the next stage of their development.
One of my children has SEN and they have been outstanding in supporting his development, tracking his attainment and putting targets in place to support him. He always comes home telling us what a fantastic day he has had, the friends he has made and all the delicious food he has eaten.
The environment is well thought out, inviting, engaging and motivating.
They also offer a breakfast club which is great for working parents.
Childcare is expensive wherever you go but I trust the YMCA wholeheartedly with my children.
I would recommend them to all parents in Andover, thank you YMCA!
