Busy Bees Sutton Scotney

My eldest has been there since he was 11 months and asks every morning to ‘go to Egg’, he quite simply would live there if I let him! The team are all charming and welcoming, management are approachable and nothing is ever too much. The updates between team and parent is really very well managed and any ‘hiccups’ are very clearly communicated and dealt with. My youngest has only recently started, as he was born during a year of lockdown I was very apprehensive of him joining as he had not been socialised. A short 3 weeks after his first session he was waving at everyone, walking in happily and had developed a fantastic relationship with his key person.

As a parent there is nothing that says more about a Childcare centre than seeing your kids run in, with a smile on their face, and give both their friends and team a hug. I would suggest (and have) to anyone! I have 2 kids at Egg Day Childcare centre Sutton Scotney, and they both adore it!

He attended Egg Day in Sutton Scotney from 6 months to 3 and a half years of age. The team at Egg have consistently been approachable, responsive and expert, responding to any feedback, concerns or comments promptly and appropriately. My son has thrived during his time in the Nest, Hatchlings and Fledglings although his enjoyment of childcare centre began to wain once in the Chicks. The team in the Nest and the Hatchlings, in particular, were nurturing, promotive of his development and supportive of his engagement.
On reflection, now that my son is in an alternative setting for his final year before school, I think the Chicks was simply too noisy and busy for him. Again on reflection, his behaviour had deteriorated to indicate his discomfort. Adjustments were made to give him some space which eased the situation but his poor behaviour and reluctance to go to childcare centre continued. For my son, therefore, he outgrew the setting. My son has been the first of my three kids to attend a childcare centre.

The practitioners looking after the kids have such high energy and enthusiasm. They are loving, attentive and supportive of each individual kid and also create an setting where manners and sharing are promoted and encouraged. The activities are endless, varied and very enjoyable! They really make the most of the garden space, so while I’ve heard some people call it small, I’d argue that it’s much better used than nurseries with more outside space, with the kids spending all day out there unless the weather is awful! The management team are stellar, they’re accommodating, present and know all the kids extremely well, often joining in with them during the day. I don’t think my 2-year old would have had such success with potty training had it not been for the clever setup with the loos being accessible to the kids, without needing an adult to specifically take them and the excitement of the bell. Egg Day Childcare centre Sutton Scotney is the best. I could not want any more from a childcare centre.

I sing their praises to whoever will listen and after the extra assistance we’ve received over the last 6-months with my daughter receiving hearing aids, I sing their praises even more! The team are fantastic and so loved by my kids, management are an absolute asset to the setting and the site is spotless and engaging for the kids. We consistently sense supported and listened to! Our kids have been attending Egg Day Childcare centre Sutton Scotney for around 3-years now and our journey throughout this entire time has been stellar.

Excellent development and discovering through each class and made some lifetime friends.
Childcare centre days will be missed.

Each kid stretched in a very personalised way. My kid is cheerful and extremely settled. Incredible on-site chef as well. Fantastic setting with real care shown to the kids.

Our son has just finished his time at the childcare centre, having started school this year. From when he first started at 9 months old, until he left to go to school, he has had a fantastic time and loved going into childcare centre. The food has been a real highlight and everyone from management to new starters, have taken the time to get to know him and us as his parents. We have all felt so welcomed and seen our son is valued and thought of with genuine affection. The team ensured he was absolutely ready for school and we have loved watching his journey and development through the things posted on the app journal. Our son made excellent memories and excellent friends at childcare centre and I am sure his younger brother will do likewise. Thanks for everything over the last four years. Choosing a childcare centre is such a big decision, but the childcare centre consistently had the right sense about it from our first visit.

She is finally moving up to “big girl school”, and I don’t know who is more upset about her leaving her or me! Egg is an incredible childcare centre, and they really do become your family! My daughter took her first steps there; they filmed it and phoned me to let me know, I still remember that phone call like it was yesterday! Thank you all so much for everything you have done for us! Egg will consistently have a special place in our hearts! Highly suggest! My daughter has been going to Egg since she was 9-months-old; she absolutely loves it!

He is now in their fledglings room which he is absolutely thriving in. He does have some additional needs which the childcare centre, and particularly his key person, have been extremely understanding of. They offer the kids such a mixture of activities each day and get to spend lots of time outside too. All the team are smiley, inviting, and welcoming. We particularly like that the food is cooked on-site, is healthy, and full of variety. We sense the assistance and nurture the team provides is allowing our son to develop into a confident, chatty, and cheerful kid. We would certainly suggest Egg Day Childcare centre, a excellent childcare centre, and incredible team. Our little boy has been attending Egg Day Childcare centre since he turned 1.

The ladies in the nest really helped to settle him in and are exceptional with him every day that he is in. He is consistently really well fed and the menus consistently look really great weekly. The childcare centre is consistently spotless when I enter and everyone is consistently really smiley. Management are exceptional and consistently keep me up to date on anything that changes. I highly suggest Egg! My kid has been attending this childcare centre since January 2022.
