YMCA Nursery Woolston

This period of disruption had exacerbated issues around daytime sleeping, with all its various knock-on effects. The team at YMCA could not have been more supportive in getting them settled, taking the time to understand what might work best, being proactive with sensible suggestions, and being really reassuring of two parents who after all the disruption were also pretty stressed.
Our kid loves being at YMCA. A lovely space, with loads to do, lots of time outside, and most importantly lots of adore, care and attention from the team. On the practical side the systems they have in place for drop off/pick up are practical, the updates when there is an issue or query is really great, our kid enjoys the food, and the admin team are really organised and supportive if you need to book extra sessions. Our youngest kid started at YMCA Childcare centre in the baby room after a challenging period of disjointed childcare after our regular childminder was taken ill.

The team are welcoming and supportive. They update you at the end of the session on the day your kid has had, and they upload pictures and meals on the parent app. I sense that my daughter is cared for and cheerful, she sometimes doesn’t like going in and they make her sense comfortable once she’s in the pre school room. They are currently developing skills needed for infant school in September, my daughter is discovering how to spell her name and recognising numbers and letters as well as adding and subtracting. The rooms are consistently spotless, tidy and secure. The outside garden area is remarkable, this is where my daughter has the most enjoyable she loves to be outside playing in the sand pit or digging in the mud. My four year old daughter has been here since she was 2 years old, she has really progressed and come out of her shell.

All team is well trained very nice and supportive! My daughter and son adore coming every day and after all day they have huge smiles on their faces which is very important! Thank you for your hard work! Highly suggest!

He has been very settled from the start and the team are consistently welcoming and welcoming. I have been impressed with the care he receives whilst at childcare centre. We are kept up to date with what he has eaten and any activities he has done. He will miss being at YMCA when he moves on to school! My son joined YMCA in the preschool room and he loves it!

The team are exceptional and have a genuine adore for the kids that really shines through. The special educational needs assistance both my kid and I have received after raising concerns has been beyond anything I have heard of from parents of other settings. I don’t have a single thing I would change about this childcare centre. YMCA Woolston is an incredibly spacious setting that my kid enjoys attending.

She is very cheerful. All the ladies are very cheerful and compassionate. I suggest this childcare centre.
Without asking how my kid was at school today they are very keen to tell you about it. Our daughter is in this childcare centre.

I am confident that all the team actually delight in looking after the kids.
I sense like the playtime areas could sometimes benefit from a more rigorous cleaning policy. Overall we are both satisfied. We nearly consistently bring our kid late but there is consistently someone to greet him and take him in almost instantly.

We are so thankful for the team at the YMCA, especially the baby room! We trust them with our kid three days a week and they have really helped her become the little lady she is today!

A lot of funny and educational games that give kids a chance to explore and learn about the world around them.
Kids could go out for a walk or to the library to read some books as well.
The team are very welcoming, gentle and compassionate and provides detailed handovers. YMCA is a excellent place my kids to be in.

Very compassionate and welcoming team, consistently take care of my 3 years old son. Our kid is consistently cheerful to be there and wants to come back to playtime. Also very great updates with the office. I’m very cheerful with all aspects.
