First Friends Day Nursery - Eastleigh

From day one we have been impressed by the nurturing, attentive and enjoyable setting.
Our daughter loves going to childcare centre. She has made some excellent friends and adores all the adults. The kids spend a lot of time outside, this includes regular Forest School sessions. Our daughter has also enjoyed Spanish and dance lessons. We really appreciate the time and effort which goes into planning activities. This has helped our daughter to develop her social and creative side, as well as a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy which will serve her well when she starts school. We sense so lucky to have found First Friends. We would suggest them to any parents looking for the best childcare centre setting for their little ones. Our daughter has been attending First Friends for over three years.

We have moved from Kent where he was very settled in his old childcare centre and we were nervous about how he would be after moving but they’ve been so welcoming and he has settled really well. He adores the team and consistently comes running out with the biggest smile on his face, chattering away about what he did that day. His self‑assurance is growing and he has made new friends already. Our son has recently started at First Friends in Eastleigh and we couldn’t be happier.

I’m not even sure I can put into words how fantastic this childcare centre is. My daughter has been attending for over a year and a half and absolutely loves it there, and now my son has just started. All team are just so attentive and welcoming and I sense 100% comfortable knowing my kids are secure, cheerful and discovering. It has the feeling of a small family-run childcare centre, with outstanding provision and opportunity for the kids to learn, explore and make friends. I thank my lucky stars I found it and highly suggest to everyone I know. Where do I begin!

The team have consistently been cheerful to help with any questions I have, and the childcare centre is also spotless and well looked after. My daughter attends three days a week and every time I collect her she is smiling and can’t stop talking about her friends and the team there.

She was quite nervous as at 3 years old she had not been left with people she didn’t know due to Covid. The lovely team, smaller setting and homey sense has really helped her to settle. They have done so well to help her transition and she has so much enjoyable going. The team are really great at helping her to develop and build self‑assurance and there is excellent updates with them which as a first time mum leaving her little girl is really appreciated. Thank you so much for looking after our daughter so well. We are so glad we started our daughter at First Friends in January 2022.

As a new mum, I was dreading having to leave my kid and go back to work but the team could not have made it easier for me. I consistently receive lots of photos and updates throughout the day along with a lovely tapestry entry so I know what he has got up to. The team genuinely make me sense like my kid is the only kid they look after and I know he is so well cared for. It makes me cheerful to know that he is being taught and nurtured in a loving setting just as he would be at home. The food is consistently incredible and the activities they get up to are excellent. My little boy loves going to childcare centre and I couldn’t suggest First Friends Childcare centre enough. My little boy has recently started with First Friends Childcare centre and I could not be happier.

Cannot fault any area of the childcare centre. The team are so lovely and we are relaxed knowing our daughter is being well cared for, and having a excellent day, every day. We, as well as our daughter, are really cheerful with First Friends!

She absolutely thrives here, she is consistently so cheerful to go through the doors to be greeted by her super welcoming educators! If ever she is feeling anxious to go in, the educators are consistently so attentive towards her and welcome her in with open arms. I sense so lucky to have got a place here for my daughter and I couldn’t imagine her attending anywhere else. Her educational needs are met to a very high standard and she is discovering something new every day. The food is healthy and tasty also which she really enjoys with a wide variety which is important. My daughter is consistently so excited to get ready for the day to go to childcare centre which as a parent is so important that your kid goes somewhere where she feels comfortable and I genuinely sense she is so secure here and the educators are also so lovely on pick up and consistently answer any questions and give a great handover. I would suggest any kid to go here! My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for around six months now.

She absolutely loves it and all of the team. It’s not too big so she knows everyone and gets a more personal journey. Would definitely suggest. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre since she was 9months old and she’s now 3.

Her transition from the baby room, through to toddlers and now Pre-School has consistently been handled perfectly – they have nurtured and supported her at every stage. Her development, reports and daily updates are consistently communicated clearly to us and they are consistently sharing funny stories and photos with us, which makes you sense so at ease. I cannot suggest the manager and her team highly enough. Thank you for everything you do! Our daughter has been attending First Friends Childcare centre since she was eight months old and I can honestly say they have been incredible!
