October 25, 2022 at 12:00 amWhere do I begin! I’m not even sure I can put into words how wonderful this nursery is. My daughter has been attending for over a year and a half and absolutely loves it there, and now my son has just started. All staff are just so caring and friendly and I feel 100% comfortable knowing my children are safe, happy and learning. It has the feeling of a small family-run nursery, with excellent provision and opportunity for the children to learn, explore and make friends. I thank my lucky stars I found it and highly recommend to everyone I know.

The staff provide brilliant activities for his early development, which encouraged him to walk and talk. My son always goes into nursery happy and comes out happy too! He has a lovely relationship with lots of the staff at First Friends, which I appreciate.

From day one they have gone above and beyond to make our boy’s experience with them a home away from home. All three of our boys are all so different and their care is always so personal and unique to them. We can’t thank the manager and her wonderful team for all their amazing support and care.

November 11, 2022 at 12:00 amWe could not be happier that our son goes to First Friends Eastleigh. From staff willingly giving video tours of the nursery during covid lockdowns to adapting to the ever-changing days our son attends, the nursery has been incredibly helpful and flexible. Both parents and children are warmly welcomed every morning, and staff always take time to give thorough handovers at the end of the day. Our son is always so excited to go to nursery in the mornings and has made lots of friends over the year he has attended. The activities on offer are fantastic and there is always plenty of artwork that can be brought home to decorate the house!

November 11, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending this nursery for around six months now. She absolutely thrives here, she is always so happy to go through the doors to be greeted by her super friendly teachers! If ever she is feeling anxious to go in, the teachers are always so caring towards her and welcome her in with open arms. I feel so lucky to have got a place here for my daughter and I couldn’t imagine her attending anywhere else. Her educational needs are met to a very high standard and she is learning something new every day. The food is healthy and tasty also which she really enjoys with a wide variety which is important. My daughter is always so excited to get ready for the day to go to nursery which as a parent is so important that your child goes somewhere where she feels comfortable and I genuinely feel she is so safe here and the teachers are also so lovely on pick up and always answer any questions and give a good handover. I would recommend any child to go here!

Their confidence with social situations has blossomed and they always come out at the end of the day smiling. The staff are incredibly nurturing and understanding of the children at the nursery and provide a range of activities to suit everyone and put goals in place to help my child to continue to develop. The staff are all patient and supportive and make me as a parent feel secure and confident that my child is well cared for and encouraged to grow and learn. Thank you First Friends for being so fantastic and a staple in my child’s life!

She was quite nervous as at 3 years old she had not been left with people she didn’t know due to Covid. The lovely staff, smaller setting and homey feel has really helped her to settle. They have done so well to help her transition and she has so much fun going. The staff are really good at helping her to develop and build confidence and there is great communication with them which as a first time mum leaving her little girl is really appreciated. Thank you so much for looking after our daughter so well.

November 21, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little boy has recently started with First Friends Nursery and I could not be happier. As a new mum, I was dreading having to leave my child and go back to work but the staff could not have made it easier for me. I always receive lots of photos and updates throughout the day along with a lovely tapestry entry so I know what he has got up to. The staff genuinely make me feel like my child is the only child they look after and I know he is so well cared for. It makes me happy to know that he is being taught and nurtured in a loving environment just as he would be at home. The food is always amazing and the activities they get up to are great. My little boy loves going to nursery and I couldn’t recommend First Friends Nursery enough.

Nursery has been fantastic with giving him the extra support he has needed. I get some lovely feedback via tapestry. All the staff are very friendly and always happy to chat. I’m so pleased we chose this nursery.

We have moved from Kent where he was very settled in his old nursery and we were nervous about how he would be after moving but they’ve been so welcoming and he has settled really well. He adores the staff and always comes running out with the biggest smile on his face, chattering away about what he did that day. His confidence is growing and he has made new friends already.

Her transition from the baby room, through to toddlers and now Pre-School has always been handled perfectly – they have nurtured and supported her at every stage. Her progress, reports and daily updates are always communicated clearly to us and they are always sharing funny stories and photos with us, which makes you feel so at ease. I cannot recommend the manager and her team highly enough. Thank you for everything you do!

She has a fantastic relationship with her key worker, who very regularly updates the app (a fantastic feature) with photos of some fun and unique activities which are also aiding in her development. Our daughter is always excited both at drop-off and pick-up. All of this fills us with confidence that she is progressing while really enjoying herself.

I felt as though First Friends understood how hard it can be to leave your child in the care of someone else and they made it as easy as they possibly could. Our little one has come on so far and always leaves nursery happy. The staff are so caring and always happy to help when they can, they treat your child as an individual and understand that each child is different. We have felt our daughter’s needs have always been met here, and I would honestly recommend this nursery to any parents looking into childcare. Thank you for everything you have done First Friends!

November 28, 2022 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been attending First Friends for over three years. From day one we have been impressed by the nurturing, caring and fun environment.
Our daughter loves going to nursery. She has made some great friends and adores all the adults. The children spend a lot of time outside, this includes regular Forest School sessions. Our daughter has also enjoyed Spanish and dance lessons. We really appreciate the time and effort which goes into planning activities. This has helped our daughter to develop her social and creative side, as well as a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy which will serve her well when she starts school. We feel so lucky to have found First Friends. We would recommend them to any parents looking for the best nursery environment for their little ones.

December 1, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son and daughter have both attended First Friends Nursery, since June 2021. They helped transition my son into school and my daughter is now in preschool. She loves going to nursery and is very excited to see her friends and the adults that care for her. She even asks to go at the weekends now too. My daughter’s progress in the last few months has been visible, she is very confident and chatty. She has learnt so much at nursery and will proudly tell you the first letter of her name, wherever she sees it. The staff have been wonderful and supportive through some difficult times and we are very thankful that we chose First Friends for our kids. Thank you.
