Bright Horizons Romsey Day Nursery and Preschool

Everyone is lovely. Completely happy with everything. My child settled beautifully and enjoys her time there. The staff have been great, they have taken the time to get to know my child and are always kind. I would highly recommend this nursery.

There are not enough words to describe how brilliant this nursery have been with my child. She’s attended full-time since she was 10 months old and she’s now 3 years old. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly, but above all else, so caring. In each room she has been in she’s been looked after by the most fabulous team. They are always there to listen and offer advice and give daily feedback on how she is doing – nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The activities are fun, but also educational. She never has any complaints about the food either (and she’s a fussy eater at home). I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. A big shout out to the deputy manager, who is always there to greet us with a smile, every day!

Both of my daughters go to Bright Horizons, Romsey and they love it. My eldest daughter is in the nursery room and she’s always very excited to see the team and tell them what she’s been up to. She always comes home filthy (a sign of a fantastic day!)! My youngest joined at 8 months old and I received the best support from the baby room with this transition. More recently, she has moved down to the toddler room where she’s loving her day and is always happy and content. All the staff are supportive of their needs and put their all into everything they do! My eldest moves into preschool soon and she’s already talking about it and what she’s going to get up to! Both of our kids have loved this nursery. The staff are caring, fun and always happy to talk to the parents. They do lots of great activities with the children indoors and outdoors, in the large garden area. In preschool, they really work with the children to listen to their ideas and what they would like to do. In babies, toddlers and nursery there are lots of varied activities that happen throughout the day with love and cuddles in abundance. Facilities are good, purpose-built. Food is made on-site and kids enjoy it. The only downside has been the lack of air conditioning inside during the hot summer months (lots of fans made it bearable in the height of heat) and minimal shade in the garden.

My daughter has settled well here and made nice relationships with children and grown-ups. I feel thy take her allergies seriously and we have not had any slip-ups.

Our child has been at Bright Horizons in Romsey since September and we are extremely happy with the care they provide. We have felt our key worker has supported the whole family and they go the extra mile to customise their care for your needs. Our little one always comes back in a great mood.

We feel very safe and secure dropping our children off each morning. They are cared for and are always greeted with warm smiles. The communication is fantastic and we feel very up-to-date with how their day has gone and any upcoming events. Thank you for everything you do for our children.

Our little one moved down from the baby room to the toddler room and we were really nervous about the transition. His new key person was/is so supportive and our little one bonded with her so well through the settling-in sessions. Two staff members in particular, just have the most wonderful way with the children. You can tell they really love what they do and they have the most wonderful, kind nature. Thank you for always putting up with my over-the-top, parenting requests.

My child has attended the nursery for just over a year since she was twelve months old. All the staff we’ve encountered have been amazing and she settled in really quickly, she has loved it there. The staff are all so friendly, kind and caring towards my daughter, offering hugs when she needs reassurance. They get up to lots of different activities and are in the garden lots which is great! The food seems healthy and varied and my daughter usually eats very well there.

My son has attended this nursery for the past year and has really enjoyed it. The staff are great and always make an effort, even when busy. My son is always happy and excited to attend nursery and sometimes doesn’t want to leave!
