Woodberry Day Nursery (Peartree) Ltd

Words cannot express how happy and grateful I am to my son’s key workers and everyone else who looked after my little boy. My son has eczema and they ensure that his cream is applied regularly. The app the nursery uses is amazing, his keyworker is great and she sends loads of pictures home of his busy day. Can’t thank you all enough for looking after my son so well.

I cannot express just how extremely pleased with Woodberry Peartree I am. My daughter attended this nursery from 2016 to 2019 and it was an absolute no brainer that I would also enrol my son at the setting. Since my son has started I am so pleased with the nurture, care and education that he receives. The staff at the nursery go above and beyond for the needs of my child as well as accommodating me with any additional situations that have arisen. His speech has come on leaps and bounds since starting the preschool. His keyworker took on the notes from his speech referral and has created a plan for him that is working so well. So many of my family and friends have commented on his speech progression and it’s thanks to you all.

My son has attended since he was nine months old, he is now three-and-a-half years old and has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the nursery. I receive regular feedback on his development during handovers and via the app which lets me know what he is doing at the setting and how I can help him at home. I would recommend this nursery to others. My son has thrived here.

Can’t fault this nursery setting! My boy joined during the pandemic, after what had been a pretty tough year after he was born in lockdown. The staff have been so supportive and my boy has thrived in their setting which is a huge relief after he missed out on so much interaction in his first twelve months. He loves his key worker, talks about her and the other staff a lot at home which I think speaks volumes!
The updates are great – both the daily contacts and also observations about his learning and development.
The setting is wonderfully equipped and I particularly love the outdoor space.
The menu is also great – my son eats so well there, such a varied and healthy mix of meals and snacks. It’s clear that they care about health and nutrition and I also think the quality of food adds to the value for money.
Cannot wait to enjoy the facilities to the fullest as we move out of the pandemic and I can get to experience the nursery more!

My child has been going to this nursery for 10 months and he absolutely loves it. He is fed well and does so many fun activities. He can’t wait to get there in the mornings. The staff are so friendly and great with the children. It made the transition back to work so much easier.

The staff at Woodberry Day Nursery are warm, friendly, trustworthy and engaged. I am amazed by the amount of activities the staff put on for the children. It is a well-run organisation. The app is great and the updates throughout the day are brilliant. The facilities are excellent and safe. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication the staff put into looking after our child at nursery.

The nursery is fab. They put on a wonderful Christmas event for all the children which was so magical. The workers really care for the children and are invested in their futures. The facilities are great. They always strive to be better. Their handovers can be quite generic but compared to other nurseries you get a lot more information about what they’ve been up to.

I was initially quite nervous about returning to work but the care and attention shown to our son by every member of staff at Woodberry meant we were both confident and happy within a few weeks of starting.
Now our son has been going to nursery for over a year and we could not be more pleased with the range of activities, the safety at nursery and the wonderful team!

Our daughter has attended Woodberry Peartee since January 2021 and we couldn’t be happier. She is currently thriving in the preschool room, but also loved the under 2s and toddler room. All the staff are friendly, polite and engaging and most of all genuinely care about the children’s development, safety and care. It’s usually a struggle to get our daughter to leave as she has had so much fun and I am sure her abilities have and continue to improve at an increased rate due to the staff’s input. Overall we couldn’t be happier with this setting and the staff.

My daughter had to leave this nursery as they couldn’t offer any extra days as I had changed my job. So I had to move my daughter to the nursery in Sholing. The manager at Peartree said she would let me know when any extra days are available. Turns out they do not keep a waiting list. I found out today that a child in Sholing is moving over to Peartree for the full 5 days. Now they say they have no spaces left. Peartree is walking distance from our home, it takes forever to get my daughter over to the Sholing each morning then make it into work on time in town. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed that the staff at Peartree are not truthful.
