Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent

I get plenty of updates and know my daughter is being well looked after! The team at Hopscotch are very attentive and attentive, I was expecting some tears when I first left my daughter. Instead, I’m lucky if I get a wave goodbye, by the time I’m saying goodbye she is off playing. She is very cheerful and content here and I can’t ask for much more! Hopscotch Childcare centre has made returning to work very easy on me!

Activities are varied and enriching and updates is clear between parent and team and overall I would highly suggest it. The team at childcare centre are all so attentive and attentive and my daughter loves it there!

All the team are simply fantastic. They are approachable, welcoming, inviting and genuinely have the kids’s best interests at heart.
The childcare centre is spotless, with health and safety being a top priority. Activities are done with plenty of gusto and there is a balanced demographic of team which provides a excellent culture within the childcare centre. I can’t rave about it enough. My son has really flourished since joining Hopscotch Day Childcare centre Lee-on-Solent.

The team are so welcoming and she absolutely loves her time there. Updates is exceptional and we adore all the updates we are able to easily see of her time there. I have consistently heard excellent things about the childcare centre in the local community and I can safely say I am now one of the mums who rave about the childcare centre to others. My daughter started Hopscotch Day Childcare centre Lee-on-Solent earlier this year and we could not be more pleased with how everything has been since joining.

Our little one is ten months old and although she is quite a welcoming and charming little one, she’s even brighter and full of character since starting here. All the team are pleasant to deal with as soon as you enter the building or even over the phone/email. It is such a relief to know that our daughter is in the best care. Our key person goes above and beyond with her every time and it is very clear the team are committed to providing the best care all round, which is the most important to us parents. Watching her from home/work via the app is remarkable. We are looking forward to continuing our daughter’s kid care with you and we would highly suggest. Thank you! We are very recent with our daughter joining the Lee-on-Solent branch for Hopscotch, however we have been extremely satisfied from the first contact we made with them in early April.

However, the past 6 months of her attending Lee on Solent Hopscotch Day Childcare centre has proven me wrong. The care and compassion the waddlers team and especially her key worker have provided has been exceptional. As a busy working parent it is natural to be concerned about missing out on key milestones or events but Hopscotch go the extra mile to bridge that gap through detailed and concise handovers and most importantly open and honest conversations, as well as reporting via online care diaries and regular photos. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, it’s clear that it’s not a standard childcare centre thrown together for profit but that your kid is treated like family and as such I can’t suggest them highly enough for any other prospective parents. After an 11 year wait for a daughter I was apprehensive, if not insistent that nobody would be able to offer the level of care, assistance and well-being for my daughter to the high standards that I would expect.

I really adore the app and the little updates of what our little ones are doing and also what they’ve eaten, and it’s a exceptional idea that they have an allergy table and a quiet room.

Our boys are very cheerful, content and settled easily in their spotless, secure setting, thanks to a nurturing, attentive team that goes above and beyond to contribute daily to their development. After a previous negative journey with another childcare centre for our firstborn, we now have peace of mind for our toddler and preschooler. The level of updates is outstanding and the generous information about how kids spent their day makes us sense that we are not missing out on their development. Thank you for offering the care and kindness we were looking for! Hopscotch Childcare centre was the best choice for our little ones aged, 4 and 1.

He’s now off to school in September. I can’t fault the childcare centre. They actually treat the kids like they’re their own. They are kept so busy and fed delicious food, consistently come home cheerful and tired (shame) and the team are very communicative. I’ve dropped my son off crying a few times and my phone rings ten mins later to say ‘he’s fine now’. Not all nurseries go the extra mile. These team do. My son has been going to Hopscotch Childcare centre since he was six months old.

We are so sad to be leaving the area as we have seen how much she has learned and the excellent bonds she has formed with the team and other kids alike. The childcare centre do what they can to assistance you and your little one’s routine. She has sometimes struggled with saying goodbye to us in the mornings but the team were consistently so supportive and attentive that we knew she would be smiling within minutes and we then get that reassurance by the open updates and feedback about her day. Her self‑assurance has come on leaps and bounds, as well as her speech and language. She absolutely loves the trips out to the library for rhyme time and gets plenty of opportunities to do messy or imaginative playtime for which we personally sometimes struggle to think of and do at home. We can’t thank them enough and we will really miss seeing her continue to grow there. We can’t thank Hopscotch Day Childcare centre, and particularly the Under 2’s room enough for the way they have cared for our daughter during our time here.
