Co-op Childcare Southampton

Usually, they take action upon our worries which are reassuring for parents. My first kid attended Co-operative Childcare Southampton from 2017 to 2020 and now my second kid just started in February 2023.
I have recommended this childcare centre to several parents I know, personal friends and work colleagues, who have chosen this childcare centre for their kids too and adore it.
In general, the team who we have dealt with more closely have been exceptional with our kids and the kids adore being there.
The activities are incredible for their development – sensory playtime, outdoor playtime and I really value this.
The menu is generally varied and healthy and my kids are consistently engaged at meal times.
The team and managers are very approachable and if any concerns I sense comfortable raising and discussing them with them.

My son really enjoys it. My son started Co-op on November 2022. It was a huge change for him as I started my first full-time job, and relocated. But the team in his childcare centre were very supportive, and he got really well attached to one member of team especially, which helped to settle him well. This is an outstanding childcare centre with incredible team.

Our daughter loves coming to childcare centre and consistently comes home cheerful, well-fed and smiling. All the team are exceptional, communicate very well with us and are welcoming, compassionate and a pleasure to deal with. Would suggest Co-op Childcare Southampton to anyone. All round a exceptional journey.

He has a speech delay which is well-supported and understood by the team. Some team members have learned Makaton signs to help him and work alongside his speech therapist to provide a consistently high level of assistance. Their attention to detail has meant that other potential health issues were raised at the same time as we noticed them as parents. Their care is absolutely outstanding. The Co-operative Childcare Southampton pre-school has been consistently outstanding in providing care for my son.

They are consistently very approachable, very welcoming and know our kid’s care needs very well. The food menu is very great, varied and healthy. The kids spend a lot of time outside playing which is very great. We are very cheerful to have chosen this childcare centre (Co-op Childcare Southampton) because of the quality of care our kid receives.

We are moving away so sadly he is having to move to another childcare centre. We have consistently found the team very welcoming and supportive and my son clearly enjoys his days there. We have consistently found updates very prompt and I found the app easy to use. Overall, a really lovely childcare centre with excellent, attentive team. My son has been attending the childcare centre for almost two years, since he was 9 months old.

Made going back to work so easy for me as I was very anxious about leaving my daughter. She settled in so quickly and loves going to the childcare centre to see the team and other kids. She has learnt so much even family members have commented on how confident and cheerful my daughter is. I highly suggest this childcare centre. Remarkable team!

His key worker consistently goes above and beyond, including discovering Makaton signs. My son also has a dietary requirement and there has never been one mistake or issue of the childcare centre providing incorrect food, which has been a problem for some of my friends at other nurseries with the same need. I am consistently very impressed and adore the daily updates they offer. The activities they provide consistently sound so enjoyable and I can tell they really take notice of my son’s interests and what he responds to even though he isn’t consistently able to communicate with words. I am so grateful to have found such a attentive and supportive place. My son has a medical issue that has arisen in the last seven months, which makes him mostly non-verbal, and childcare centre have provided outstanding care and help whilst he recovers/improves.

His settling in session showed very clearly the compassion and kindness the team have for each kid. My son has consistently been quite a complex baby but it is incredibly reassuring to see/hear how incredible he is doing on his first week. We have struggled with weaning and to hear that he is eating food is absolutely incredible and certainly a credit to the team. I am really enjoying the app and find it reassuring throughout the day. The childcare centre is clearly equipped with enough activities and toys as my son slept through the night and we had to wake him up for childcare centre.
Administration has also been very efficient at sorting any issues we have had with setting up the app or finances!
My partner and I are truly grateful for looking after our son. We cannot wait to see him development and develop in your care. From the moment I stepped foot here, I have felt extremely at ease and excited for my son to start.
