Hopscotch Day Nursery Eastleigh

My son started attending this nursery at the beginning of the year and has loved it from the very first visit. The rooms are all big, light and airy with plenty of inviting areas for play and all kept very clean. He adores spending time outside and is making friends with other children who attend and is progressing very well. He has also really bonded with the staff working there and comes home full of stories of the fun things he has done.
The food is nutritious, varied and interesting and is included, making it very good value for money in my opinion.
Management are friendly, welcoming and hands on with the children, the general manager seems to really love her job and always makes time to speak to parents and children.
I really love the consistent communication and the whole package has really lived up to expectation. I’m really so happy that we found this gem of a nursery; my daughter will also be attending when she is a little older. I cannot fault them.

My daughter comes home everyday telling me about all the activities she has been doing. She is always happy to go to nursery and sometimes does not want to come home. All the staff are very informative about her day at nursery and if I need to talk to anyone about my daughters care I am able to.

My son started here a month ago just after he turned three. From the first phone call to the show around it’s been brilliant. He’s now been attending for just over a month and he absolutely loves it, he always comes out with a smile on his face.

I couldn’t thank the staff enough; they are amazing, and my son has come on leaps and bounds since joining last year. He loves all his care people! We can’t wait to continue the journey until our little boy starts school.

Having done a lot of research and visited several nurseries, we decided that Hopscotch Eastleigh was the one for our daughter. Upon visiting, the staff were welcoming, friendly and very informative and interacted with our daughter. The rooms are large, spacious and very light. The outdoor roof top garden is a brilliant addition to allow the children to bring the outside in. Since starting last year, our daughter has been happy and grown in confidence, her vocabulary at only 18 months is vast. My daughter had an intolerance to dairy which meant she started on a dairy free diet, which was nutritious and near enough the same menu as the other children. Thank you Hopscotch for making the process seamless and giving our daughter the opportunity to thrive in such a lovely, interactive and friendly environment.

Very friendly and helpful staff; they are great with my daughter, and she always comes out happy. They upload plenty to the online journal to keep me updated with what she’s doing and very thorough with the care diary reports. Overall, a great nursery.

So kind, caring and they pick up on the details. They have a homely feel but are passionate about target setting and development. Honestly can’t fault them. A genuine, inclusive and well-trained group of staff.

Eastleigh hopscotch is a very good nursery. They let the parents know what happens day to day with the child and what they have been up to that day. Also, they let the parents know if there are any concerns with the child and what the nursery and the parents can do about it like if the parents need to get hold of the Health Visit staff or the doctor. They do home-cooked food which is fresh, and if there is anything they need for the child at nursery, they tell the parents what they need to bring in when the child is in the nursery next.

The staff are always welcoming, attentive and professional. A clear indication is the mood and behaviour of the kids. I can’t speak for other children but my son always enjoys his days. Thank you everyone for your hard work and care. I know he’s in safe hands.

Hopscotch Day Nursery in Eastleigh is fantastic. We are continually impressed with the level of care and attention staff have given our daughter since she started. We really feel like they know her, all her likes and dislikes and all her quirks. Watching our daughter at a recent open day, it was clear she really enjoys her time at nursery and feels at home there. I love the fact that they make the most of the outside space, even with the under-2s, and it was lovely when they took some of the babies to rhyme time at the local library. They take safety and safeguarding incredibly seriously and we could not be happier leaving our daughter in their care.
