December 26, 2024 at 1:21 pmThey are now 4 years old and 2.5 years old). This is THE childcare centre for any kid and even the most demanding parents. Incredible team who look after all the kids as if they were their own. The management team are outstanding too, consistently ready to go the extra mile for both the kids and the parents. I have had an incredible amount of assistance from this childcare centre including a personalised safety plan for the kids and myself that helped us sense secure and understood in difficult times. I kept my kids at Denton Island despite moving outside of town a year ago just because I knew how much they (and I!) loved it there.
If you’re looking for safety, professionalism, family sense, assistance and a second home for your kid there is no other place to look.
Thank you Denton Island Childcare centre team! Both of my kids have attended Denton Island Childcare centre from a very young age (1 year old and 7 months old).

March 4, 2025 at 4:30 pmI have been teaching 14 years and could see how much the team here care. All are so inviting and attentive and welcome my little girl with a huge smile. They take a genuine interest and know her really well. They plan really enjoyable activities. The updates is remarkable, I get lots of photos of what she has been up to and if I ever email, I get a very fast reply. I couldn’t be happier my little girl has a place. I also thought the transition to start childcare centre and to move to the toddler room was very individual and planned well. I like that she has started to use the outside space more now in their bigger garden. I went to visit many nurseries, some graded outstanding, but as soon as I visited Denton Island Childcare centre, I knew it was the one.

July 8, 2025 at 8:22 pmHer first months being in lockdown had a big effect on her. The first few days of childcare centre were hard, but within a week or two, she completely changed. She now runs in without a backward glance. She’s come out of herself completely and her personality shines brightly. The team are incredible with her and she loves going into childcare centre now. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds, she counts, loves childcare centre rhymes and her alphabet.
I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre more! They have worked wonders with our little girl. We were thinking of moving her to the childcare centre at our other kids’s school for convenience but have since changed our minds and decided to leave her at Denton Island Childcare centre because she loves it and is so cheerful there.
We couldn’t thank them enough. Our daughter started childcare centre a very shy and withdrawn little girl.

July 9, 2025 at 3:21 pmWe looked at nurseries closer to home as I am unable to drive but nothing compared to Denton Island Childcare centre. Outstanding setting, lots of space and an incredible garden for the older kids! Team are lovely and attentive (most have been there years which is another reason which sold it to us!) My son has never had an issue going in and consistently cheerful when he comes home (he never wants to leave!) My Son has been attending Denton Island Childcare centre since the beginning of this year and he absolutely loves it!
