Busy Bees Lewes

My son is a sensitive boy who finds being separated from me difficult but the staff at Busy Bees have made the transition to nursery very straightforward. He is very settled there and I am fully confident in the standard of care in all respects. He and I both have a lovely relationship with his key worker, but all the staff are so friendly and involved that everything runs just as smoothly if his key worker is on holiday, which is so reassuring.

My daughter started at the nursery in the summer when she turned two. The staff have all been great at helping her to settle into nursery life. I would happily recommend the nursery to others and I’m sure my Son will enjoy the nursery too when he joins next year.

My son started Busy Bees when he turned 12 months. He is a very sensitive child who found the transition times in the morning difficult. I know the close relationship with his key worker is brilliant, as once we have gone he is settled, he sleeps and eats really well. I know he is happy when we are not there, as the nursery have a fingerprint recognition system on the outside door. This means, when I go to pick up him up, I can scan myself in and go to the area where he is learning and playing. I can clearly see he is enjoying himself before he sees me! At the end of the day, his key worker always has time to share what he has learnt or experienced that day. I can also use parentzone to view what he is learning and they share his next steps. My son is thriving in their care, I cannot thank the all of the staff enough for their kindness towards my family. I am so glad a friend recommended Busy Bees to me, it was the right nursery for us.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees since she was 5 months old. I immediately found it to be a caring and nurturing environment for my baby to be in. Now, 2 years later, she is secure, happy and flourishing in this nursery. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to chose Busy Bees. I have high praise for the staff, the education, the care and the resources. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any parent.

My two boys go to Busy Bees at Lewes and they love it. Their days are filled with lots of fun and diverse activities and they go out for little trips around the town. They also spend a good amount of time on learning activities. Through the parentzone I get really good information about what they are up to and how this contributes to their learning. The staff are all excellent and ensure that the children feel settled and happy at all times. When settling my little one in recently, the staff spent lots of time asking me questions to understand his routine and needs and making sure that his first few weeks have been as easy a transition as possible. The food is also excellent and I always recommend Busy Bees when talking to other parents.

My little girl has been going to Busy Bees Nursery for over 2 years now and there hasn’t been a day she hasn’t been happy/excited to go to nursery. The staff are exceptional. They are incredibly friendly and absolutely adore the children. I am very happy that I choose Busy Bees at Lewes and have highly recommended the nursery to friends and family.

Both of my daughters have attended Busy Bees Nursery and have had care of an extremely high quality. The staff in ‘Penguins’ are particularly caring, professional and highly skilled. It is clear that they have built strong relationships with the children they care for, based on warmth and trust. They communicate clearly and in detail to parents. I couldn’t be happier with the care my daughters have received!

The management and the team in pre-school are absolutely fantastic. My 4-year-old loves going to nursery. He has developed so much while at Busy Bees at Lewes and is becoming a very bright, rounded and inquisitive little boy. I thank the nursery for much of this. I am so happy leaving him there and I am confident with everything the staff do. I can’t thank them enough and as my son says, “I love nursery”.

Friendly and caring staff who have always made both my children’s time at nursery fun, exciting and interesting. Everyone is helpful and kind, the food is delicious. My children love going every single day and I think that counts as the best of all. Thank you all, especially the manager.

My son has enjoyed nursery – the staff are very energetic and engaged. They monitor the child’s progress and develop key skills for milestones. The staff are friendly and warm and put the child first.
There is a very social environment that my son loves, the nursery is always busy and working with cultural holidays and seasons, like Autumn, Halloween and Mothers Day. Observations are completed regularly and reporting on children’s activities are thorough. The provision of nappies, hot meals and laundry makes life much easier for parents.
