February 26, 2018 at 12:00 amThe nursery are so kind and patient. My daughter is 14 months and has had a hard time settling in but the staff have taken their time with her. My daughter has finally settled and has a good time.

January 14, 2019 at 12:00 amThis is an amazing nursery, my little girl has been here over a year and loves to come every time, she has learnt a huge deal since starting and has become very confident child. They spend a lot of time outside which my girl really enjoys. The staff are very professional and are really good at what they do also talk to you and let you know how they have been getting on and also what they have been up to during the day, would highly recommend this fantastic nursery.

January 25, 2019 at 12:00 amA wonderful home from home nursery. Bear’s House has been fantastic from day one, staff are super friendly and helpful. Always a welcoming smile which quickly reassures children and allows them to be settled quickly. They have a good range of rooms and spaces which allows children to explore, play and develop a range of friendships. They have high expectations of children and clear routines with food, hygiene and behaviour.
Both my children have flourished here and built their confidence to be able to be ready to start school. The staff go above and beyond and have genuine care and love for the children they look after.

February 8, 2019 at 12:00 amThis is a great nursery! My daughter has been going here since she was 7 months old and I couldn’t be happier. The staff are all caring and have bundles of energy to keep all the children entertained throughout the day. My daughter gets excited to go in the morning, running to members of staff for a cuddle and always comes home happy and tired from her days here. There are always activities going on and the children are obviously kept busy and learning throughout the day. The food always goes down a treat and I love that they spend time outside playing. The staff have been really supportive of anything we’re trying to do at home and are generally interested in the children they look after. The atmosphere in this nursery is brilliant, you feel instantly happy walking through the door as everyone seems to be having so much fun!

February 8, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son is 2 and has been attending Bear’s House since October 2018, he absolutely loves it. The staff at Bear’s House are so caring and passionate about the children; helping them improve existing skills whilst learning new ones. I couldn’t wish for a better nursery, this was the first one we looked at and we all fell in love with it from day one. The nursery provides so many activities and opportunities for the children, and communication between them and parents is fantastic. My son loves the varied meals and snacks that are provided which is always healthy and well balanced.
My son has a food allergy and the nursery are brilliant in ensuring he remains safe in this area.
On days my soon attends I leave knowing he is safe and well looked after and I have no concerns, he always comes home a very happy boy.

August 6, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son has been in lockdown for the past 140 days but to see him walk back in this morning was amazing. Just prior to this we were walking up the road to the nursery and I said to him are you excited? He said yes! I asked why and he said because he was going to see all of his friends. He was so happy to be going back. A bigger testament to the quality of the nursery couldn’t have come from anyone but him.

August 6, 2020 at 12:00 amI have had such an amazing experience with the setting at St Leonards. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Staff accommodate the extra sessions I need as I work away in London some of the time. My child has bloomed since attending and has flourished in many ways.

The nursery does plenty of activities, inside and outside, and our son always comes out smiling and looking like he has had a wonderful day.

They have been very supportive during the covid-19 pandemic and have made many efforts to ensure the safety of my child when going back in after the lockdown. They have a lovely big garden and space to play in outside, which is a big thing for me, and the food is all freshly prepared, healthy and varied. Thank you again, Bear’s House, for all your hard work and dedication.

The staff are hardworking, professional and genuinely care about the children that they work with. My little boy has formed some great relationships with staff and children and looks forward to spending time at nursery. We will definitely be sending our latest addition there when the time comes.

March 8, 2021 at 12:00 amI was really worried about putting my daughter into nursery with this pandemic going on but Bear’s House Nursery, St Leonards settled my anxiety and were so welcoming! I am a first time Mummy and the staff are amazing at showing an understanding of all my worry and fears. My daughter is six months old and shows pure joy when she arrives at nursery. I know she is safe, loved and well looked after. I recommend this nursery to all my new Mummy contacts. A massive thank you to the Bear’s House Nursery, St Leonards team for showing love to my baby and creating a safe and fun environment for her outside of home life.

She is only six months old and I was worried about her starting young but all the staff have showed me the pure passion for their job and the love for the children. My daughter becomes excited when she gets to the nursery door and has a great big smile when she sees any of the staff members who greet her! I also love seeing all the tapestry observations on how my precious girl is getting on in the mornings away from home. Big thank you to the team and all their hard work!

They are very professional and friendly, I know she’s safe and they’ll contact me with any concerns. Her settling in sessions went really well and put me at ease. October 19, 2022 at 12:00 amWe love our nursery. They are laid back and super friendly. You get a lovely vibe from the staff and they go out of their way to help you out. The manager is really responsive and happy to help out with any questions. You rarely see a change in staffing so it’s great to have that consistency for our child but also means the staff must enjoy being a part of the team! The garden is huge and they’re out in it every day. Our child always comes out happy and they helped smash potty training with no issues at all!

October 19, 2022 at 12:00 amI find this nursery to be a lovely nurturing environment for little ones, so much so that my youngest goes there because my eldest enjoyed it so much when they were there! I love their use of the garden space they have as when the weather is good most days you’ll find them outside having fun. Also, the way that they have improved upon previous reviews and seeing it put into practice is brilliant for the development of the children. They always provide good feedback about what they’ve been up to throughout the day.

She now skips in every day really excited to see her friends and all the staff. Her little sister is about to join the nursery too and I am certain she will also have a really positive experience.
