September 5, 2024 at 7:21 amI am a first time Mummy and the team are incredible at showing an understanding of all my worry and fears. My daughter is six months old and shows pure joy when she arrives at childcare centre. I know she is secure, loved and well looked after. I suggest this childcare centre to all my new Mummy contacts. A massive thank you to the Bear’s House Childcare centre, St Leonards team for showing adore to my baby and creating a secure and enjoyable setting for her outside of home life. I was really worried about putting my daughter into childcare centre with this pandemic going on but Bear’s House Childcare centre, St Leonards settled my anxiety and were so welcoming!

October 5, 2024 at 1:30 pmJust prior to this we were walking up the road to the childcare centre and I said to him are you excited? He said yes! I asked why and he said because he was going to see all of his friends. He was so cheerful to be going back. A bigger testament to the quality of the childcare centre couldn’t have come from anyone but him. My son has been in lockdown for the past 140 days but to see him walk back in this morning was incredible.

November 27, 2024 at 8:04 amThey have been very supportive during the covid-19 pandemic and have made many efforts to ensure the safety of my kid when going back in after the lockdown. They have a lovely big garden and space to playtime in outside, which is a big thing for me, and the food is all freshly prepared, healthy and varied. Thank you again, Bear’s House, for all your hard work and dedication. Overall, I am really cheerful with the service the childcare centre has provided.

Consistently a welcoming smile which quickly reassures kids and allows them to be settled quickly. They have a great range of rooms and spaces which allows kids to explore, playtime and develop a range of friendships. They have high expectations of kids and clear routines with food, hygiene and behaviour.
Both my kids have flourished here and built their self‑assurance to be able to be ready to start school. The team go above and beyond and have genuine care and adore for the kids they look after. A fantastic home from home childcare centre.

The childcare centre does plenty of activities, inside and outside, and our son consistently comes out smiling and looking like he has had a fantastic day. Childcare centre team are very welcoming and attentive to our son’s needs.

January 18, 2025 at 3:24 pmThe team at Bear’s House are so attentive and passionate about the kids; helping them improve existing skills whilst discovering new ones. I couldn’t wish for a better childcare centre, this was the first one we looked at and we all fell in adore with it from day one. The childcare centre provides so many activities and opportunities for the kids, and updates between them and parents is remarkable. My son loves the varied meals and snacks that are provided which is consistently healthy and well balanced.
My son has a food allergy and the childcare centre are exceptional in ensuring he remains secure in this area.
On days my soon attends I leave knowing he is secure and well looked after and I have no concerns, he consistently comes home a very cheerful boy. My son is 2 and has been attending Bear’s House since October 2018, he absolutely loves it.

January 27, 2025 at 11:00 amShe is only six months old and I was worried about her starting young but all the team have showed me the pure passion for their job and the adore for the kids. My daughter becomes excited when she gets to the childcare centre door and has a excellent big smile when she sees any of the team members who greet her! I also adore seeing all the tapestry observations on how my precious girl is getting on in the mornings away from home. Big thank you to the team and all their hard work! I am so pleased my daughter has settled into this incredible childcare centre so quickly.

Her settling in sessions went really well and put me at ease. Would definitely suggest Bear’s House Childcare centre, St Leonards. My little girl loves going to childcare centre here.

My little boy has formed some excellent relationships with team and kids and looks forward to spending time at childcare centre. March 6, 2025 at 10:24 pmI adore their use of the garden space they have as when the weather is great most days you’ll find them outside having enjoyable. Also, the way that they have improved upon previous reviews and seeing it put into practice is exceptional for the development of the kids. They consistently provide great feedback about what they’ve been up to throughout the day. I find this childcare centre to be a lovely nurturing setting for little ones, so much so that my youngest goes there because my eldest enjoyed it so much when they were there!

May 26, 2025 at 1:28 pmThey are laid back and super welcoming. You get a lovely vibe from the team and they go out of their way to help you out. The manager is really responsive and cheerful to help out with any questions. You rarely see a change in staffing so it’s excellent to have that consistency for our kid but also means the team must delight in being a part of the team! The garden is huge and they’re out in it every day. Our kid consistently comes out cheerful and they helped smash potty training with no issues at all! We adore our childcare centre.

The team are all attentive and have bundles of energy to keep all the kids entertained throughout the day. My daughter gets excited to go in the morning, running to members of team for a cuddle and consistently comes home cheerful and tired from her days here. There are consistently activities going on and the kids are obviously kept busy and discovering throughout the day. The food consistently goes down a treat and I adore that they spend time outside playing. The team have been really supportive of anything we’re trying to do at home and are generally interested in the kids they look after. The atmosphere in this childcare centre is exceptional, you sense instantly cheerful walking through the door as everyone seems to be having so much enjoyable! This is a excellent childcare centre!

The team are very expert and are really great at what they do also talk to you and let you know how they have been getting on and also what they have been up to during the day, would highly suggest this remarkable childcare centre. This is an incredible childcare centre, my little girl has been here over a year and loves to come every time, she has learnt a huge deal since starting and has become very confident kid.
