September 11, 2024 at 10:18 pmHe just about manages to wave goodbye as he runs in to get his breakfast and see his friends! My son has been attending Ashbourne for almost two years and loves his days at childcare centre. It’s a huge weight off your mind when you can go to work and know that your kid is cheerful and being well looked after. The team consistently give a warm welcome and at pick up, consistently provide a thorough handover of what has happened during the day. There are a wide range of activities to keep the kids engaged and assist with their development. The kids are encouraged to be independent (age-appropriate) for example pouring their own drinking water and clearing away their plates etc. which is excellent for their self-esteem. Choosing to send my son to Ashbourne is genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever truly made and I can’t thank them enough for everything they do.

November 7, 2024 at 6:03 amShe started at the childcare centre when she was 1 and the manager and team in the baby room truly took the time to settle her in well because she was an incredibly clingy baby. My daughter is 3 at the end of the month and absolutely loves attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Wing. This is my third kid to attend the childcare centre and it’s been fab for all of them. The team are fantastic and during this lockdown, they are helping keep a sense of normality for the little ones. I truly suggest the childcare centre.

December 8, 2024 at 11:10 amThey respond quickly and are very supportive in answering questions changing days etc. I like the management and organisation at this childcare centre. My daughter consistently seems like she’s had a nice day, coming out smiling. I like the variety of food and activities. The only one thing for us is that we would definitely adore to do a half-day based around the school hours which doesn’t work but that is true of all nurseries I think. Overall cheerful parents!

December 11, 2024 at 3:18 pmAt every stage of his development, the team at Ashbourne at Wing have been supportive and help develop his fantastic curiosity in the world around him. My son has been attending the childcare centre since he was 9 months old and he is nearly 4. Particularly during this difficult year with covid, the team have continued to demonstrate their care and compassion for the kids in their care, providing a lovely secure setting to give my son the stability he needs. Thank you to all who make this place so fantastic!

December 13, 2024 at 1:04 amAs we are first-time parents, there were a lot of nerves and questions from our side. We came to view the childcare centre in November 2021 on a recommendation from my sister-in-law who has a kid in a different Ashbourne Nursery. The team were excellent in answering all our questions and providing the information we needed to give us reassurance. He has been there for a while now and does full four days a week. My son absolutely loves it there. He is a very busy kid and is provided with an incredible range of activities that meet all his needs and encourages discovering. The team are absolutely incredible and show a genuine passion for what they do. They have created a very secure setting for our little one. The rooms are well equipped with a wide variety of toys and the outside playtime spaces are any kid’s dream. Meals and snacks are healthy, well-balanced and cater for my very picky eater. (They do have an incredible chef). Such a excellent team, zero faults.

December 29, 2024 at 10:46 pmThe team were fantastic with getting her to settle in and within a few weeks, she is like a different kid! My daughter started childcare centre here in January. She is smiling and cheerful when she gets to childcare centre, her development has come on in leaps and bounds and as a parent, I couldn’t be happier knowing my daughter is cheerful, healthy and well looked after.

January 10, 2025 at 4:53 amMy son loves going there, the team are a lovely team of ladies. I am very cheerful we decided to send my son to this childcare centre. My son became very poorly whilst at childcare centre, the team could not have done more to help him and also supported me when I came to collect him. They consistently go out of their way to help and assistance and consistently with a smile, I would definitely highly suggest this childcare centre. I will be sad when my son leaves there.

January 16, 2025 at 4:08 pmI shouldn’t have worried. My daughter started at Ashbourne Nursery, Wing when she was 15 months old and having been in lockdown, I was truly worried about how she would definitely cope with being left. The team looking after her were brilliant at getting her settled in quickly and she walks in without looking back. Her confidence and abilities have flourished and I can see that she benefits massively from her time there. She loves all the different crafts they do and is frequently coming home with artwork she has made. The team are all welcoming and you can tell they adore the kids they look after. I would definitely highly suggest Wing childcare centre.

February 13, 2025 at 8:47 amI can not fault any of her care. My little girl has been attending the childcare centre for over a year now. The ladies are a joy to deal with and I just know she’s in secure hands. Her discovering and development has come along very quickly, she surprises us at home when she just comes out with a new word. Definitely suggest. Thank you, ladies!

February 13, 2025 at 1:22 pmWe sense confident that they’re looked after, but also allowed to explore and make friends (and mistakes!). We’d suggest the childcare centre without hesitation, the team are excellent, and both our sons have settled and thrived since starting. We’re given timely and accurate feedback when there are issues, and a bit of a chat when things are going well. Sending your kids to be looked after by strangers for the first time is quite daunting, but we’ve consistently had confidence that they’ll be cheerful and secure. I’d adore to mention some of the excellent team by name, but I’d probably end up naming them all!

March 10, 2025 at 11:52 amThey set out lovely activities and discovering for the kids every day and have great relationships with parents/carers. The girls work so hard to care for all of the kids at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Wing. I would definitely definitely suggest it to anyone needing kid care. My son used to go here from 10 months right up until 4 1/2 and my daughter started at 7 months old and still there now, they absolutely adore it. They have grown up so much and made lots of friends along the way.

March 16, 2025 at 3:45 amThey have worked very hard to continue working in these uncertain times, which can not be easy in any job role on the front line the last year. All team have been lovely to us and our little boy. All team deserve excellent praise and recognition for their dedication to their jobs and the kids they are helping develop and learn the most important skills in life, speech, reading, social skills, boundaries and many more.

March 18, 2025 at 2:47 amThe team are welcoming, bubbly and have been an absolute pleasure for our son to attend. Amazing childcare centre along with the team, our son loves attending childcare centre. Hats off to you all, you do a sterling job from discovering and development for all ages.

April 13, 2025 at 5:32 amThe team have gone above and beyond to ensure his transition into full days at childcare centre was smooth, and that he felt secure and settled before beginning his time there. My son has recently joined Ashbourne at Wing and I can say, without hesitation, he loves it! There is a real sense of community and a focus on the individual, allowing space and assistance for him to grow at his own pace and explore his individual interests, whilst also discovering and developing his social skills.
At 18 months my son, like many during the pandemic, has spent a lot of his very early life quite cut off from others; within the month he has been at Wing he has become more relaxed, sociable and sensitive to other kids, which is magic to see.
We can’t praise the team or the facilities highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

April 20, 2025 at 9:14 amMy daughter can be shy in new situations but took no time to settle in. The team are all lovely, attentive and welcoming and easy to get hold of if needed. I consistently sense reassured and my daughter adores going to childcare centre.

May 20, 2025 at 9:53 amThe team are consistently so welcoming and fun, the kids have consistently loved them even as team change over time the atmosphere remains the same. I have been using Ashbourne Day Nurseries for years for 3 of my kids. Wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else!

May 31, 2025 at 9:57 pmAlthough it’s been emotional leaving him the team at Wing have been incredible. My son started childcare centre 8 months later than anticipated, due to this I was naturally nervous due to his huge attachment to me and not wanting to be left. One member of team, in particular, has made me sense confident and cheerful in our decision to send him to childcare centre. He comes home in such a brilliant mood enthusiastically babbling when I ask about his day. Ashbourne tell me in excellent detail what he’s been up to, how he is and what he’s eaten. The meals are consistently healthy and nutritious. This is particularly important to us as we like him to eat well. Ashbourne have well-thought-out activities that engage and grow little minds, this again is important to us as we didn’t want him to have repetitive days. All in all very cheerful with our choice of childcare centre.

June 26, 2025 at 7:08 pmNaturally, we were worried about how he would definitely get on as all of his life has been in lockdown, so he hadn’t had the opportunity to meet many other people or babies. We started sending our son to childcare centre just before his first birthday. It was the best decision we ever truly made, he settled in very quickly and he is so excited to go in every week. The team are so lovely and kind, they take such great care of the kids and I know he is in secure hands.
