October 19, 2016 at 12:00 amThe staff at Abbeymore are amazing. I could not have found anywhere better for my son. The staff are friendly, caring, warm and affectionate.
The activities they provide for the children are excellent. The attention to detail is superb.
I love the building itself. It is warm and cosy and the smell from the kitchen makes you hungry even at 8am in the morning.
The little extras that the management provide is also great for parents. Every month they provide a takeaway breakfast for parents. I do not think they realise how much I appreciate this when rushing off to work. Thank you

October 19, 2016 at 12:00 amAbbeymore Day Nursery and Preschool has been excellent for both of our children. Our son has just started primary school, and the transition from Abbeymore Day Nursery and Preschool to school has been seamless. I think in a large part, it is down to the work and development they spend with the children in getting them to used to school such as routines, but also in the interest and excitement they instil in learning before school.

October 20, 2016 at 12:00 amWe have not been at the nursery long but my son has settled in the Bluebells Room extremely well. The staff are helpful, friendly and they have done everything to make my time going back to work very easy. The room supervisor spent time with me talking through what my son would be doing throughout the day and how he would be learning. All the staff take time at the beginning and end of the day to take me through his day. I have noticed he is eating better at nursery than he does at home. The manager and deputy have also helped my husband with his child care vouchers. We had no idea what to do but they made life so much easier when we sat down together. I was anxious about my son going to nursery, but I would highly recommend Abbeymore Day Nursery to anyone.

Choosing a nursery to leave your baby at is a big decision, it involves a lot of trust and I am so glad I chose Abbeymore. My eldest has been there 4.5 years and he is so happy there that I have chosen to send my 1-year-old also even though we are no longer local. The staff are amazing, they are so kind and caring yet professional.
My son loves them and he will miss them so much when he starts school in a couple of weeks. The activities they do are great, they have such fun whilst learning and I am always surprised at what he has learnt each week. They teach the 3+ year olds zumba and football which is great. It is clean, spacious, they have great resources and there are always new toys to play with. I can always rely on my boys receiving a good healthy meal while they are at nursery and they always come home with full tummies!
I would 100% recommend Abbeymore to anyone considering it!

October 19, 2017 at 12:00 amAfter visiting numerous nurseries in the area I have to say that Abbeymore stood out far more than all the others. The welcoming management and staff team, the lovely building, the happy children and the feel that you get as soon as you walk in and know that this is the nursery for my child. We have now been at the nursery for a few months and my child has settled well. We did have some tears but I was warned of this when we first started. We were given free settling sessions where my child could get to know the room and her new friends. The staff in her room are so lovely. When I pick her up at the end of the day they tell me about her day. She has always had a lovely day and comes home tired but happy. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and comfortable

October 30, 2017 at 12:00 amAbbeymore is a lovely nursery. The staff are professional and friendly. They made us feel very welcome and helped me to adjust to going back to work. I thought the free settle sessions were brilliant. They really helped us as a family to get to know the nursery and staff. I was able to sit in the parent room whilst my daughter was having a visit so I didn’t feel too far away. The children’s rooms are lovely, clean, bright and have lots of toys. The children are always happy and busy.

I have been a parent at the nursery for approx. 2 years and cannot rate this nursery enough. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we visited the nursery and the standards of care have never dropped. The staff team in my child’s room are amazing and always tell me how his day has been when I collect him.
The nursery recently provided a free children’s first aid course for parents. I, unfortunately, could not make it but I thought this is a brilliant service that helps us parents feel more confident with dealing with our children if they became unwell.

February 14, 2018 at 12:00 amI can not praise this nursery enough. The nursery itself is lovely but the staff are the most professional and friendly nursery staff I could ask for. I have only seen happy children and this reflects from the happy staff. My child’s keyworker has made us feel so welcome and that no question or query is silly. As first-time parents, the nursery team have made us feel so comfortable to go off to work and leave our child at nursery.

He’s settled in so well due to the amazing staff and, even though we were very anxious we could not be happier. He runs into the nursery so excited and doesn’t want to come home when collected. We have already seen him grow and develop in the short while he has been there when starting in January.

October 8, 2018 at 12:00 amI have 2 children here both love it. We were at a different nursery for the eldest which was not as good an experience for him as now.
Some policies are “stupid” like medicine only with a temp.
Rooms my kids in are Buttercups and Daffs.
Key worker and rest of room amazing.

The staff are very professional, warm and caring since my child joined the nursery back in February 2018. I have noticed a lot of development within her. As there is room for improvement, the nursery is taking the right steps towards this.

March 5, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son attends Abbeymore Day Nursery and Preschool and he is extremely happy – the staff are warm and welcoming to us on a daily basis. The nursery is clean and well presented and I understand it’s just in the process of finishing a revamp which has made the rooms more practical for the children and staff. There is a large garden located at the front of the building which my son loves and has learnt to ride a bike.

Our daughter is always telling us about the different activities she does at nursery and it’s been great to see how these activities are helping her learning and development. The food provided always sounds varied, healthy and tasty which is really reassuring. I’m really pleased we chose to send our daughter to Abbeymore Nursery.

May 17, 2021 at 12:00 amWe are so happy with Bright Horizons Abbeymore as our choice for our son’s preschool. Even with all the new restrictions and changes due to Covid in the last year, they have managed to make sending our son to school a smooth process. He absolutely loves his time at preschool and can’t stop talking about everyone and it’s lovely to see what he’s been doing that day with the feedback forms he comes home with. He’s come on leaps and bounds since he started and I know a lot of that is due to his time at school and the lovely staff that work with him.

May 18, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son started in the 0-2 years room (Blossoms) at Bright Horizons Abbeymore Day Nursery in January this year. We were keen to have him interact with more children his age which had been impossible during the lockdown. So we enrolled him for two days a week. The settling in sessions were brilliant and in two weeks he was happy. He has been attending Abbeymore for almost four months now and the change in him is enormous. His language has greatly improved, he interacts with people more confidently and has made strong bonds with some of the staff. He is always excited for his nursery days. He also absolutely loves the food (including the new menu) and I’m glad he gets a wide variety of food at nursery that he is unlikely to eat at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Abbeymore to other parents for their little ones.
