October 6, 2024 at 1:16 pmThey also are able to get the little ones involved by making things like homemade pizza and baking cakes etc. They have created new rooms with suitable activities for different age ranges, they regularly update you with your child’s growth. and they have a great connection with the local library where they do rhyme time and encourage the kids to read books. They have had a change of management in the previous six months and credit to the manager and her team, they have really turned the childcare centre around. My kid has been going to William Street Nursery for just under a year. Since the changes have happened my child’s growth has been supported by the carers and he is exceeding in most areas for his age. Well done to everyone at William Street. The food they serve the little ones is all fresh and prepared on-site by their in-house chef and they regularly change this to suit the youngsters or if something isn’t working.

The activities are stimulating for her age and take my child’s preferences and likes into account while focusing on her progress and competences improvement. My little one has been going to William Street Nursery for four months now. The setting has everything to cover her basic needs even fresh food cooked by their own cook. They have a big terrace at the back of the building where they go everyday to do physical activities. I have noticed a good improvement in her confidence participating in all the activities and with her English and updates skills. She is extremely pleased on our way to the childcare centre in the mornings. They always keep you updated on what is going on during the day on their app. They have a good curriculum and key person system implemented that it really works. The team are truly professional, well trained and caring. They have a menu for three weeks which I see extremely varied, healthy and kids focused.

October 13, 2024 at 7:10 amMy young lady has been with this nursery setting since she was 13 months old when I returned to work part time. Countryside has been key in her advancement into a assured, articulate and wonderful little character- the team there really knew her and encouraged her discovering. She is now approaching 2 and a half and has progressed through the “baby room”, “toddlers” and is preparing to go to pre school next month. The settling in period at the beginning is invaluable for any parent returning to work and Countryside were strongly supportive when I moved to work and helped feel at ease with the transition.

October 14, 2024 at 4:52 pmThe personnel in the baby room are brilliant and she is pleased and excited to go to childcare centre each day. The app is useful for staying in touch and seeing what’s going on throughout the day. It is a great childcare centre. The attention to support and safety is excellent and the management are organised with weekly parent briefings. My girl is nearly eighteen months old and has was enrolled at William Street from around six months old. The dedication of the personnel to organising daily activities is incredible, there is always something new and a wide variety inside and away from nursery setting, including trips to the library, park or river to feed the ducks. Staff are always pleased and have time to chat about the children’s day on pick up.

The personnel are so incredibly welcoming and each kid has a key worker and second key worker who lead in their growth. There is also a rooftop garden which is secure, I should add. I should add I also suffer with M.E. And the little ones are taken on outings too, to absorb competences out and about around the town. We have sent both our little ones to this childcare centre, under the old management and new. Seeing them improvement in the early years and starting to build a foundation to be ready for school is so important, and we feel it’s being achieved here. But it allows outside activities. Each time our child(ren) have flourished and enjoyed and one currently enjoying their time here. We’re not having a third little one, but if we did, we wouldn’t think twice about sending them here.

Our little one settled in so well at William Street, all thanks to the great personnel and the exceptionally welcoming setting. Our little one enjoys the outside excursions and playing in the sandpit and water tray.

January 4, 2025 at 1:28 amThey are always doing different and varied activities whilst incorporating exploring through playtime. Staff always are there to listen and help in any way they can and adapt to how your kid is feeling and in need of that day. Updated regularly through an app of what they have been doing throughout the day with lots of videos, pictures and observations to see. Very big rooms to enable little ones to have lots of space to explore. Food is varied and plentiful. My little boy always comes home covered in paint and messy games ingredients which is a truly good sign of a good productive and thrilled day!

February 25, 2025 at 3:20 amMy young lady started at William Street Day Nursery in May 2015 and has settled in well. The team are cordial and caring and provide a extremely thorough handover at the end of the day. The childcare centre offered a home visit, followed by settling in sessions so the transition was good. The early‑years hub manages my daughter’s cows milk allergy really well providing a dairy free diet for her. Staff turnover seems quite high- 2 out of the 3 baby room personnel have left since we started but perhaps that is to be expected.

March 4, 2025 at 6:05 amI feel he is well looked after, he is free to explore and get involved in a wide range of activities during the day and he eats well. My young lad is in the baby room and he bounces up and down with excitement when we arrive at door of the childcare centre to buzz in, so that will tell you how delighted and settled he is there. All the personnel are exceptionally kind and useful. The nursery setting is well managed.

Preschool discovering is great and provides a good transition from the early‑years hub to reception. The nursery setting is well staffed, the space in games areas is big, and the food is well balanced. My girl has been in William Street since she was one. She is delighted in the early‑years hub, and I am impressed with the amount of exploring she acquires.

He has a number of challenges with multiple allergies and skin sensitivities and the nursery setting have been really adaptive to fully help and support for him. He is excited to go to early‑years hub every day and calls the carers his friends.

June 29, 2025 at 9:35 amThe baby room is large and exceptionally well equipped, even having a dedicated sleep room complete with cots and blackout blinds so that the babies can get quality naps in during the day (we didn’t see such good premises in any other nurseries we looked around). The nursery setting also has a truly thorough settling in plan to ease the babies (and parents!) in without overwhelming them which made the process so much easier for us. My girl has come on leaps and bounds since starting at William Street! The crew are extremely welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure the babies and youngsters are delighted. My little one has been going to William Street Nursery for 4 months and is extremely pleased there.
