Merrydale Day Nursery

The personnel are fantastic, they have followed our home routines as closely as possible and my girl seems so content here. All of the youngsters seem exceptionally thrilled and I would definitely advocate Merrydale to others. She has really bonded with her key workers and I’m so pleased with her improvement. I’m so pleased with our choice to place our young lady at Merrydale. She absolutely adored it, she’s been in childcare centre for 3 months now and she’s ever so delighted. I was personally extremely nervous about putting my little girl into early‑years hub at 9 months old, but my immediate concerns disappeared as soon as we dropped her off for her first day. Thank you for making my daughters journey such a delighted one! We get daily updates on her and I’m always talking to the team when I collect her at the end of the day.

The team are all exceptionally warm, kind and attentive and we completely trust them to look after the wellbeing and advancement of our little ones. The crew have built really good relationships with our two and we will really miss their care, sense of fun and daily chats. Both our youngsters (4 years and 18 months) have had a really pleased and positive journey at Merrydale.

They do a huge range of activities for the kids which is extremely impressive. I fully advocate! He absolutely enjoys it there, so thrilled going in and often doesn’t even seem to want to leave! The personnel are absolutely brilliant. I strongly suggest Merrydale Day Nursery, my little one has been there now for five months, and is so thrilled and well cared for. They are wholeheartedly communicative and flexible with us too, and really responsive.

We as parents have always felt so ensured and welcomed, with the childcare centre being truly flexible to us with any kind of help we needed. Our young lady has been attending Merrydale since she was 18 months, up until starting school now. Our little one absolutely adores the personnel and can’t wait to go every morning. She has really enjoyed her time. We will miss the childcare centre so much! The childcare centre is brilliant in balancing safety, fun and social and academic growth.

They have really helped nurture and develop my son’s exploring and also embraced his cheeky character. The crew have remained largely consistent throughout his time there and they are so engaged with the little ones in their care that they know what works to engage different little ones and also to manage any challenging behaviour. The sites are wonderful and the garden and forest school area are hugely popular and it’s great they can spend so much time out there. Now that he is starting school, it’s not just him who will miss nursery setting, it’s me too. My little one has went to Merrydale for the past 3yrs and I could not have wished to have found a better nursery setting for him. Staff numbers permitting they also take the little ones to local parks or to feed some local horses which is a lovely added bonus.

Thank you Merrydale for everything – you rock! It will be a exceptionally unhappy day for our family when our boy starts school and we have to say goodbye. My boy is extremely pleased at the childcare centre and can name all the personnel and other little ones. I enjoy the app which I can check for regular updates on how my young lad is getting on in the day and look forward to the Observation updates. He is stimulated in many ways and I know he spends lots of time outside. We get regular updates on what’s coming up and there are regular reminder notices in the reception area. Any queries by email are quickly responded to. My 3-year-old has now been at Merrydale for just over 2 years and I am more than pleased with the fantastic service they provide. They are a truly caring bunch! There is always a warm welcome/goodbye at the start/end of day and all the personnel have a good knowledge of my boy – including their incredible chef (who provides a varied and healthy diet). The nursery setting manager runs a tight ship and is truly on the ball.

I also have a girl in the Pre-School at Merrydale and she is extremely pleased and settled there too. My little one started at Merrydale Day Nursery in August 2020 and despite all the Coronavirus ongoings the team have made his settling period a pleased and comfortable journey. He is now there 2 months and enjoys it and we feel he is quite settled and seems to enjoy all the interaction and exploring. Having both my little ones at Merrydale has given them confidence and social abilities that are important.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the team at Merrydale for the wonderful journey our little one has been given in his two years there. We are sure that our little one will continue to make lots of headway as he begins preschool in September, but we know that it is the wonderful time he has had at Merrydale which will have laid the firm foundations for his future. In particular, we would like to thank the remarkable team who have each had a big part to games in our son’s advancement and who have made a huge impression on him. Our boy will be leaving Merrydale to start at a preschool closer to our home at the end of this term and we are all extremely downhearted that he will be leaving. Thank you to everyone at Merrydale for looking after our little one so well, we could not have asked for a better nursery setting for him to have joined. We could not have asked for a better or more caring early‑years hub for him to join.

The crew are excellent and listen/take care of any concerns we may have. The attention they have taken with our boy, his growth and updates is just excellent. We could not have found a better early‑years hub. We are extremely excited for our young lady to start there in the coming months. Having a kid during lockdown and start childcare centre during lockdown, I could not rate Merrydale early‑years hub high enough. Our young lad has been there for nearly two years now and I know that as soon as he is dropped off he is well taken attention of, and I look forward to picking him up and hearing about his day.

Merrydale Day Nursery is a lovely nursery setting with a jam-packed itinerary that challenges and engages our little one every single day. The crew are lovely and are a big reason our girl always has a smile whenever she learns its a early‑years hub day.
