Recently moved to this setting, and it has been the best decision we have made for our daughter. From the start of our preschool journey, the staff have been very warm, welcoming and approachable which has made leaving our little one so much easier! The provision is safe, clean and well resourced providing lots of activities to promote learning, development and independence. Staff regularly update the parents’ app with observations and photos which, as a parent, is great to see what your little one is up to on a daily basis.

Lovely nursery, from the moment I met the manager at the nursery, I was impressed. She is clearly passionate about caring for and the development of children. She has a great ethos that is shared by her wonderful team. Her team is varied in experience levels and a mix of ages which I appreciate. I was a bit nervous following moving my children from a previous nursery, but the settling in sessions reassured me and the fact you’re kept informed about your child’s day is priceless. There was absolutely no issues accommodating our child’s dietary requirements either. Messy and outdoor play is encouraged and the outdoor spaces are lovely. I love that there is community involvement and chances to stay and play encouraging children to have a sense of local community. They support small and local groups and businesses which I also value. I would highly recommend this nursery, definitely have a look around.

Since sending our little boy here, he has come on and learnt so much. You can really tell that the staff are caring and spend time with your child, teaching them in ways which suit them best and catering to their needs and abilities. The staff keep the communication app regularly updated with meals and naps etc. as well as regular photos. The menu is varied and all the extracurricular clubs and outings are fabulous! I could not recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter really enjoys going to nursery and the team are very good at giving updates on the app. She does lots of different activities and outdoor play is encouraged in all weather which is good.

Our daughter has settled in so well, and all members of the staff have been wonderful. Creating a wide variety of activities for the children, with great learning opportunities. I always feel well-informed about what they have been up to during the day. The team have also been great at accommodating specific dietary needs. All in all, a great nursery reflective of the team working there.

Wonderful staff providing amazing care and experiences for the children. My little girl settled amazingly well and absolutely loves it. She is thriving and learns every day, being a teacher this has been a big focus of mine. The staff are understanding of individual needs and facilitate accordingly. Great communication. Highly recommend.

My twin boys have recently started at the nursery. All management and staff have gone above and beyond to cater to their needs. All staff are lovely and welcoming, you can see they’re passionate about their jobs and welfare of the children. Couldn’t have chosen a better setting for my boys.

My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Hawthorn Private Day Nursery. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating to every child’s needs and we have seen how quickly he has settled in because of this. His confidence has increased and the exposure he is getting to a range of activities, stimulus and education is fantastic. We are so relaxed when he is there as we know he is getting the best care from everyone around him.
