October 6, 2024 at 7:10 pmThey took on board all of our concerns and doubts and listened to our needs. Within a few weeks, she was settled into the 0 to 2 years room and seemed truly cheerful. Socially we have watched her flourish and her development has vastly improved. They do so many activities on a daily basis and truly think carefully about how it adds to their overall development. We were unsure about her moving up to the next section but we needn’t have as she settled in highly quickly. She has developed a great working relationship with her key person and other members of team within her room. The standard of care and planned activities does not differ from room to room and is also evident in my daughters level of interest. We didn’t have a excellent first journey of putting our daughter into childcare centre but after a bit of research, we came across this one.

My daughter loves all the different activies and food options available. The team the the childcare centre are terrific and would suggest to anyone! 5* My daughter has been attending Ossett Childcare and Pre-school for around 12 months.

It is a enjoyable and comfortable discovering setting, the kids are encouraged to be independent where they can but they have a compassionate hand there to help if they need it. My son has become a highly self-confident and outgoing little character and I credit that to Ossett Pre-school. My son has been attending Ossett Pre-school for 2 years now and I could not suggest it enough!

The team are what make it, they are all approachable and all have a bond with my kid. I leave her knowing she is secure and cheerful. After looking around many nurseries for my daughter, none compared to Ossett Childcare.

Would have no hesitation recommending this childcare centre, I found out about it through a family member’s recommendation. Remarkable attentive and positive team, excellent updates to parents.

January 21, 2025 at 2:05 pmThe open door policy is a excellent idea, see it how it is, nothing staged. I have watched the childcare centre grow and the high standards have never dropped.
Both my kids attend and they both adore it. They both have excellent relationships with their key workers and the other members of team. They all take the time to get to know all the kids. I have watched my eldest now 2.5 yrs develop so much behaviour, speech and now counting up to 10.
I get highly informative updates at the end of each day and the online Discovering Book is a exceptional idea, it’s excellent to look and see photos/videos of what they have been doing each week.
The childcare centre is highly well equipped and consistently news things being added. The outdoor area has recently been extended and the kids have plenty to keep them occupied outside. I immediately became attached to Ossett Childcare & Preschool when I visited to have a look around in 2014 (only been open 6 months then).

February 20, 2025 at 4:48 pmAs a mother of 4 Muslim boys, I cannot express enough how the leadership team have adjusted and made my kid sense special. My son also has speech problems that team have helped to develop. He’s attended childcare centre for his second year now and he has improved in all aspects of discovering following the EYES. Security of the building uses fingerprint recognition and CCTV cameras. Activities are all kid based, welcoming and supportive, exactly what a kid needs before starting school at 5. I’ve never had any problems and team are consistently updating me on my kid’s development through parents evening, conversations and the discovering book online. My only regret is that they don’t have a school so my kid doesn’t have to leave! A secure, secure setting for kids of all ethnicities to sense welcome and special.

Every journey we have had with the childcare centre has been a positive one. They are consistently on hand to talk to, and the in house app for parents is excellent. The practitioners truly care about all thee kids. I would definitely suggest this setting to everyone. My daughter has been attending here since she was 9-months-old and is now three.

April 15, 2025 at 10:29 amThe team are so personable and clearly dote on every one of their kids, and seem to make every kid sense like “their special one”. As a teacher, I know the importance of early childhood development, and could not fault the childcare centre’s provision in the slightest. They gave my son extra assistance when he needed it to help with a speech delay, and the foundations they’ve helped us as parents to lay will last a lifetime. They update the kids’s discovering journeys regularly, which is easily accessed on a smart phone, and are consistently easily contacted during the day. They also update parents daily on what the kids have been getting up to, with photos – being able to see what my son is up to is invaluable, as it helps me miss him slightly less!
I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre more highly – particularly as I viewed 7 different nurseries in the local area before picking this one, and none of the others came close. My little boy has attended here for 2 years and has come on so much.

May 17, 2025 at 6:01 amOutstanding childcare centre, team incredible and welcoming, my daughter has gone since she was 11 months old and is now 25 month, she has loved going and since the highly first visit and has grown with the same team members through her discovering journey and built truly great relationships, I go to work and don’t have any worry about the well-being of my little girl whilst she is in their care, the management team have consistently assisted thoroughly with any requests we have made, thank you Ossett day care
