Little People Alwoodley

The team team and manager truly make this childcare centre the best we have used. They adapt to our kid’s needs and our parental wishes without batting an eyelid. They are consistently approachable and welcoming, and our two kids adore attending. I have consistently felt confident that the team are looking after my kids well and in the same way that I would. They spend a lot of time outdoors whenever possible, which the kids just adore. Despite all the enjoyable, the childcare centre somehow fit in lots of discovering activities and fully prepare the kids for starting school. The only reason we are leaving the childcare centre is due to our eldest starting school in another area. I can’t suggest this childcare centre enough. We have used a number of various childcare professionals/establishments over the past 4 years, including some that have Ofsted ratings of ‘outstanding’ but they do not come close to the dedicated, welcoming, attentive and compassionate team at Little People in Alwoodley.

My little boy has come on in leaps and bounds and the team consistently have times for any concerns and feedback! I consistently sense welcome and sense the warmth as soon as I enter childcare centre! The food is also freshly cooked and my little boy consistently has seconds of everything! The manager is so comforting and reassuring and bends over backwards for all parents she consistently welcomes us in and will stop everything she’s doing if we need to talk to her. The team are all fully trained to handle my little boy who has epilepsy which truly puts my mind at ease when I have to leave him and go to work! I look forwards to the rest of my little boy’s journey at little people’s! After moving my son from a previous childcare centre due to lack of care, I am truly beyond words at how incredible the team and management team are at Alwoodley childcare centre!

The team are exceptionally attentive and highly consistent and there is a wide variety of activities provided every week. Our daughter has been highly cheerful to go and there are clear expectations from team in terms of behaviour and self-care which is outstanding. The online discovering journal is also a excellent updates tool that is updated regularly. We have been truly pleased with the provision at Little People.

I wish the childcare centre opened at 7am to cover for those parents that start work at 8am. Closing time is absolutely perfect. My son loves it at Alwoodley childcare centre.
