September 12, 2024 at 1:43 pmThe food, team and facilities are incredible and we sense more than comfortable that our daughter is in a secure setting. She has gained self‑assurance and consistently comes home cheerful after doing a variety of indoor and outdoor activities each day that are communicated to us via the app. Outdoor space and attentive team were key to our childcare centre choice and Active Kids certainly tick these boxes! Our 18 month old daughter has been going to Active Kids for five months now and we are exceptionally cheerful with all aspects of the childcare centre.

October 16, 2024 at 6:27 pmThe childcare centre setting is lovely, the outside space is incredible and the team work hard to refresh the equipment so there is consistently lots for the kids to explore. The team are so welcoming, it is like a little family and everyone knows everyone, which is excellent when kids are moving up through the classes. My kid has been truly supported with discovering and development and I get regular updates through the app.
I would definitely suggest this childcare centre. I have one kid at this childcare centre and they have been there for just under 2 years.

November 7, 2024 at 4:00 pmThere is a welcoming, enjoyable setting and a lot of discovering takes place within this. It’s excellent that there is a lot of outdoor time and activities such as forestry and rugby tots, which is a exceptional idea. All the team are enthusiastic and outstanding with the kids, and both of my kids are highly cheerful there.
All the kids get on brilliantly and look out for each other too which is lovely. Both my kids now attend Active Kids and adore it.

The team are all remarkable and have nurtured him through the different rooms, using playtime to ensure he is at key stages and ensuring he was ready for school when that point came. My son has been at Active Kids for the past 3 years.

A massive thank you to all the team at Active Kids. Your work is much appreciated. I am impressed with the care my kids got from Active Kids Highly welcoming team, spotless setting, delicious meals (my kids adore it).
Both my kids have had a great opportunity to learn and grow, they were supported by team and the management is highly supportive too.

December 30, 2024 at 10:02 pmOne has now left to go to school and my son still there, both my kids started going from 9 months old and they have been exceptional to us as a family, highly supportive compassionate team, with a attentive setting. My kids arrive happily and leave even happier. They’ve had exceptional bonds with the team and I never go to work and worry about them. I would highly suggest Active Kids Day Childcare centre. Thank you to all the team for the excellent job you do. I have had two kids at Active Kids Day Childcare centre.

February 1, 2025 at 6:24 amMy two older sons have now left, with just my youngest attending. The bigger boys loved their time here, playing, exploring and discovering. My youngest son has settled in marvellously and created bonds with team and his peers. He gets up to so many varied activities, be it messy playtime, outdoor playtime or quiet time, the range is imaginative and endless. The menu is varied helping the younger ones to try new tastes and texture – an outstanding chef! Thank you Active Kids team to your hard work and dedication, my kids (even the older ones) adore it! If you’re looking for a childcare centre with ample outdoor space for little ones to delight in and explore look no further than Active Kids.

February 13, 2025 at 4:54 amThe childcare centre has a excellent outdoor space that is used as much as possible, my son loves it when they playtime outside on the bikes, zip wire and lots of other toys. He also loves it when they do other activities such as rugby and drama. The team are highly welcoming and I have consistently felt highly welcome when I have dropped off or collected my kid. He consistently eats well, loves the home cooked food. I would definitely suggest active kids. My son has been coming to Active Kids since he was 9 months old, he is nearly 4 now and will miss it when he starts school in September.

They provide regular updates via the app and it’s clear they offer a large range of discovering and enjoyable activities. We wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre to friends and family. February 25, 2025 at 1:28 pmThey have been to a couple before here, and never truly settled, but are highly cheerful at Active Kids and talk about their friends and educators at home all the time. The team have truly helped my kid specifically with a speech self‑assurance issue that was diagnosed earlier this year, and with their assistance and guidance, he has come on in leaps and bounds. I am so thankful to have found this highly special setting and would happily suggest Active Kids to all parents looking for a secure, attentive setting for their little ones. I am so over the moon to have found this preschool for my kid!

February 26, 2025 at 3:23 amThey settled in truly quickly, and I sense like all the team know them both truly well. They consistently eat a healthy meal and spend some time outside, and do lots of drawing, painting and craft activities as well as educational ones. The app is consistently updated with information about what they’re doing and lots of photos too. Updates is excellent, and they were highly supportive with potty training. I sense completely cheerful that they’re secure, well cared for and having enjoyable when they’re there and I would absolutely suggest them to anyone, and will be sending my youngest soon. I have 2 kids who attend this childcare centre and they both absolutely adore it.

March 15, 2025 at 3:09 pmThroughout her time there, there has been a consistent workforce, the key workers are incredible and are consistently on hand to offer assistance when needed. They take a highly outdoor approach to discovering and spend a lot of time outside in the garden. The home-cooked meals I believe are lovely too, as my daughter frequently has seconds! They are a small family-run childcare centre that has a highly personal and welcoming sense to it. My daughter has consistently been truly enthusiastic about going, which is reassuring as a parent. I would highly suggest Active Kids. My daughter has attended Active Kids Childcare centre for over 4 years since she was 8 months old.

The outside area is incredible and I adore that the kids get a great period of time outside whenever possible. I get daily feedback on all the important things but most of all, I adore the fact they take an interest and show genuine adore for him as a little person. I know for sure he is well cared for. I’m truly pleased with how quickly my 20 month old has settled.

April 10, 2025 at 12:48 amHe’s now 25 months and has moved from the baby room to small toddlers and is now in big toddlers. He’s the brightest little boy and whilst I’d adore to take all the credit, much of it lies with the Active Kids team. They truly go above and beyond to make sure that the kids are educated, nourished, and cared for. He has genuine bonds with a number of the team there, I sense thoroughly reassured that he is secure and secure there. We moved almost a year ago but made the decision to keep my little boy at Active Kids as he was absolutely thriving there. I don’t regret that decision one bit, the commute there and back is worth it! I can’t suggest Active Kids Day Childcare centre enough, my little boy has been attending the setting since he was 9 months old.

April 18, 2025 at 12:27 amShe gets so excited when she goes and is so cheerful when I collect her. All the team are truly welcoming, switched on and truly seem to care about all the kids. The activities are exceptional, both inside and outside, with excellent healthy meals also. I consistently sense at ease leaving her, as I know she has a exceptional time and is well looked after. A excellent childcare centre, lovely team, and a big emphasis on nature and outside playing. My daughter has attended Active Kids since she was 9 months old, and she is now 2.

April 24, 2025 at 3:43 pmHe absolutely loves going there and he’s made loads of friends and he’s highly fond of the carers. He asks constantly to go to the childcare centre and he’s highly cheerful when we take him there. We’re also highly cheerful with the level of care and attention the team at the childcare centre give to our kid; they keep us informed constantly and know him on a personal level. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough! Ever since he started attending Active Kids Childcare centre, we’ve noticed a big improvement in his social skills, discovering abilities, and general moods.

June 22, 2025 at 3:05 amIt has an outstanding atmosphere for the kids and parents.
The team have an open door policy which is excellent, we can go to them with any issues we have, for example, how to sign up kids to primary school, help with the government 30 hours etc. Nothing is too much trouble.
The extra-curricular activities are incredible too, my kid comes home speaking French and there are rugby lessons on the way. Just remarkable.
I would suggest this place wholeheartedly and would suggest you go for a visit to see for yourselves if in doubt. I have 3 kids, one of which is currently attending Active Kids, the other two joining in the new year without a doubt.

I have seen a massive difference in her development since starting, my daughter has even come home using sign language she has learnt. They are consistently busy doing activities, how they fit everything in one day amazes me. The kids spend as much time outside as possible which I ADORE. The outside space is definitely a unique selling point and is such a remarkable space for the kids.
My daughter eats better at childcare centre than she does at home. She loves the food at childcare centre, they consistently make things I would never think to make at home. All in all, I would truly suggest Active Kids, it’s such a lovely place for kids to go and I never sense worried about her while I’m at work. This is all thanks to the fantastic team which are remarkable! I cannot suggest Active Kids enough!

We thank everyone on the team for creating such a fantastic space. Our son has only been at the childcare centre for a short amount of time but we researched heavily and visited many local nurseries before choosing Active Kids.
