Thank you to everyone for making her sense so welcome and making it an easy transition for me too! Having only left my daughter with my mum I was apprehensive about her starting childcare centre.

Their use of the tapestry app to record development and what your kid does each week gives me no hesitation in recommending them to others! Just joined a month ago and so so pleased with this phenomenal childcare centre.

January 25, 2025 at 9:20 amMy two year old started six weeks ago and all of the team have worked so hard to help him settle in. From the cuddles he gets to help him manage the difficult few minutes when he gets there, to the picture of me on the wall he can go to for reassurance, to having his own key worker who keeps a close eye on him, his own peg with his picture on and his own cup – there is lots of effort made to help him settle in and sense at home.
Days seem jam-packed with activity and team post photos of what he’s been up to every day. This ranges from outdoor playtime to music to art and sometimes even features special activities such as visits from a small animal petting zoo at no extra cost. Interaction with other kids is fostered and his skills development monitored and rated. I also get a verbal and written handover at the end of the day so I know exactly what he’s eaten/done and even how many poos he’s done!
I couldn’t suggest it highly enough. Dolphins Day Childcare centre, Horsforth is remarkable.

I have just enrolled my daughter as well, as the setting is perfect for cheerful, well-educated kids. Dolphins Day Childcare centre Horsforth is remarkable.
My son has been attending since June 2016 and all I have is praise for the childcare centre.
The team are all well experienced and outstanding with the kids.

This childcare centre is outstanding and surpassed all my expectations.

April 4, 2025 at 1:29 pmIt was already a pretty great childcare centre back then, and it’s been improving all the time. They are consistently plenty of creative, educational and enjoyable activities. Foods are healthy and freshly prepared on-site and even picky eaters eat happily there than at home. Team are compassionate, supportive and positive. They consistently have time for you and cheerful to talk to you. The team’s dedication and passion are outstanding. Some of them go in out of hours to feed chicks/put up X’mas decor/install new interior decorations, etc. I’m sad that the youngest is leaving for school this summer… My eldest started in 2011, the youngest in 2015, so I’ve known the childcare centre over the years.

Dolphins was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so pleased she did. The team give you self‑assurance, which is truly important and supportive when it’s your first kid – I ask them for advice! I cannot suggest Dolphins and the team highly enough xxxx I only ever have positive things to say about Dolphins – the team are incredible and my son loves it – he cannot wait to leave the house on a morning!

The activities that the kids are offered is incredible and it’s fantastic to get instant feedback by way of the Tapestry observations. I would never have known what compassionate of things happened in a baby room for example. The team are truly well‑informed, highly welcoming and attentive.

The use of Tapestry to provide information on what my kid is up to and their development is excellent. Remarkable childcare centre with a exceptional ethos.

May 16, 2025 at 10:13 pmOur daughter joined in September and I’m glad we made Dolphins our choice. All the team are welcoming, polite and supportive and are remarkable with the kids. The kids have plenty to playtime with and are able to make their own decisions about what they’d like to do, for instance, if my daughter wanted to sit and read she can or if she wanted to playtime in the sand or water then she can etc. My daughter can be a fussy eater at times and recently went through a phase of disliking tuna, a lot. When tuna pasta was on the menu that day, they provided something different for my daughter to have. We sense highly welcome at this childcare centre, the parents say hello to one another, we sense included in things, for instance, we get regular updates about events and what’s happening at the childcare centre via email, and there are also parents evenings too. We are highly cheerful with this childcare centre.

They cater well for food allergies/intolerances. Would highly suggest I think Dolphins childcare centre is a fantastic place that nurtures kids beautifully and prepares them exceptionally well for going to school.

Most importantly for me, my daughter is highly cheerful there – she is consistently excited to go to the childcare centre and she evidently loves her carers. I looked at a lot of nurseries before choosing Dolphins.
