Helen Howes Private Day Nurseries

Our daughter has gone to Helen Howes PDN since she was about 8 months old. From day one it the team helped shape her into the lovely little girl she is today. We’ve never had a day where our daughter has not wanted to go, and she’s made lots of friends there. The staff are all brilliant and our daughter has a lot of love for a few! Nursery staff are like our daughter’s second parents during the day and they do a damn good job. The Nursery fully deserves its outstanding Ofsted status and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Thanks!

All our four grandchildren still attend Helen Howes Day Nurseries and Out Of School and Holiday Hub.
We can’t begin to express how much the team have done for all four of them, as well as the support they have shown to all our family. Our grandchildren are growing into confident, independent, happy children, who are well-liked and achieve all their goals at school. We know that the management and the team at Helen Howes have played an integral role in their development, providing them with a warm and nurturing environment filled with fun and laughter. The out of school expansion has allowed our family to carry on working without disruption now for 11 years and we can’t thank them enough, they truly are an outstanding provision. The building has recently been undergoing a major refurbishment and is looking amazing, and the finishing touches are almost complete. Thank you to everyone at Helen Howes for all that you do for every child, we highly recommend this family run business.

We have sent our two daughters to Helen Howes since they were both ten months old. From the day we looked around it was the staff that sold the nursery to us, they were so interested in the children, the focus is clearly on them. Having said that all the staff have been so easy to get on with and they all take the time to share a conversation upon drop off and pick up. For me, it is an extension of the family because the girls spend so much time there.
The formula clearly works as they are so happy to go and when at times this hasn’t been the case, the staff have worked with us to help.
We are lucky to have this facility on our doorstep.

All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. My son has been there for nearly a year now and absolutely loves it. He has come on so much learning new skills, and when I drop him off I know he is in safe hands.

The staff truly love my child. He runs off happily in the morning and wants to stay when we go to pick him up. Staff always have time to chat to us as parents and we know he is well looked after and encouraged in his skills development and his interests. The staff across the whole nursery, management and kitchen know my child and it’s lovely to have that personal feel.

The most amazing nursery! Helen Howes private day nursery continues to be outstanding in every area. As a parent of a little one that struggles to be away from mum, I can honestly say that my experience, and more importantly, my son’s experience has been truly amazing! Our first child attended Helen Howes until she left for school, she was definitely prepared for school and had been looked after so much by the staff here. We decided to send our second child here as we’d had such a good experience the first time round. My second child absolutely loves the nursery. She is nearly 2, she wanders in with no trouble and I know she is well looked after. I don’t have one negative thing to say. Thank you.

My daughter started pre-school just before her 3rd birthday. She was very emotional and was reluctant to go after been cared for by grandparents. All the Helen Howes staff were fantastic – their caring nature helped her grow in confidence. She now goes with a big smile, looking forward to the fun-filled day ahead. They have a lovely family feel and all the staff know the children. The activities and environment are great but the best aspect is the nurture of the children. Staff communicate very well and report back at the end of each day. I would highly recommend the pre-school to any parent.

Outstanding nursery – both our children have grown in confidence since starting at Helen Howes Private Day Nurseries which we greatly feel is linked to the fantastic staff. Our children ask to go to nursery on a weekend, they love it that much.

My children have been attending Helen Howes Private Day Nurseries for just over a year now. It has been and continues to be a fantastic experience for them. They have both grown in confidence and have each made significant developmental progress during their time there which has in no doubt been due to the care and diligence of the wonderful team at the nursery. The team are always incredibly friendly and very eager to help with any stages of my children’s growth such as supporting them with speech development and/or potty training. Both my children are incredibly happy there and this is reflected in the relationships they each have with their key workers and room teams.
