September 6, 2024 at 3:24 pmIl Nido already had remarkable reviews online and we heard rave reviews from friends whose kids had been well looked after here, too.
Still, we wanted to see for ourselves. The owner and her managers were excellent at responding to our enquiry, emails and calls and suggested we take a look around.
What we first fell in adore with was the bijou baby room – perfectly sized for 6 babies to sense secure and cared for. Then, when we met the childcare centre team, everyone wore a smile and open arms. The childcare centre team seem to delight in it here too, with many years at Il Nido under their belt. This place just ‘felt’ right from the moment we stepped inside. We felt cheerful knowing our 9 month old (now almost 2) would be given the attention and adore we gave her ourselves. Since then, our daughter has spent many cheerful days playing, discovering, sharing, socialising, sleeping and eating at Il Nido. When it was time to look at sending our precious daughter to full-time childcare, we researched our choices extensively.

November 4, 2024 at 10:31 pmMy daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and through the covid pandemic, where she was soon potty trained by the team. I’ve never had any issues at all, my daughter loved going and was highly fond of all of the team. Il Nido has set my daughter up for school as she will soon be 5. I look forward to sending her sister there next month. Lovely childcare centre, highly attentive and nurturing.

December 12, 2024 at 10:40 amBefore my daughter started at this childcare centre she was exceptionally shy and not highly outgoing. Since starting she has blossomed in so many ways and come out of her shell. They have taught her so much, and prepared her well for her next chapter in life.
The team are all so welcoming, inviting and compassionate. They are exceptional with giving you feedback on what your kids have done within their day and how they have been. Il Nido is such a fantastic childcare centre.

December 14, 2024 at 11:42 amIt’s a small childcare centre, so it feels a bit like a home and the team are almost like extended family. Team have stayed more or less the same since the kids first started going in late 2011. This is a reflection on the outstanding management. It is a truly nice, welcoming, relaxed setting where the kids are gently encouraged to be and do the best they can. Food is prepared freshly every day and they’ve been remarkable at accommodating my daughters food intolerances. Highly recommended! Both my kids have been to Il Nido’s and truly enjoyed going.

My kid loved coming to Il Nido and I have been amazed at his development.
Nothing is too much trouble, the kids are cheerful and loved and have the pleasure of being in a more family-welcoming focussed setting.

The Il Nido team are highly welcoming, approachable and most of all cheerful. They are organised, experienced and the kids’s playtime spaces are relaxed, intimate, spotless and modern. The food and kitchen are of a high standard too, all fresh, home-cooked meals.
The outdoor space is private, secure and protected, also away from noisy traffic and passers-by. This is a huge tick for a small childcare centre!
Also, team members are highly supportive if you are experiencing the usual parenting challenges and give constructive advice. Remarkable childcare centre.

April 2, 2025 at 12:09 amThe team are all welcoming and approachable. The kids are taught how to be independent, compassionate, attentive and inclusive. Both of my kids have grown up attending this childcare centre and have left ready to start school. My youngest who is just about to leave is an August kid and my worry was that she wouldn’t be ready to start school. At parents’ evening I am pleased to find out that she is attaining all the targets required for her age and that she will cope with school standards. I put this down to the dedication of the team at this childcare centre. They not only care about the welfare of the kid but find ways to get the best out of each and every one of them. My kids have loved it here and I am sad to be saying farewell this month. Il Nido Childcare centre is the most incredible place for your kid to develop.

The team were consistently approachable and took time each day to explain what our kids had both done and eaten. Overall, I would highly suggest this childcare centre to parents looking for a place to send their kids. In general, an outstanding Day Childcare centre where our kids were looked after by the team at the childcare centre.

The team at Il Nido’s have all been there a long time and know each and every kid and their interests truly well. Excellent feedback from team when collecting kids. Team are consistently cheerful to help. Il Nido is a small welcoming childcare centre that provides a welcoming setting to parents and their kids.

May 26, 2025 at 11:03 amFrom the minute I walked into the childcare centre, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for the team are all so welcoming and have all worked there for a long period of time. There is such a home from home atmosphere which is what I wanted for my girls as they were both young when they started. The girls both adore attending childcare centre and can’t wait to get in. Would 100% suggest to anyone looking for childcare, nothing but praise for this lovely childcare centre. Both of my girls now aged 14 months and 28 months both attended Il Nido from being only 4 months old.

June 3, 2025 at 8:31 pmShe has built and incredible relationship with her keyworker and all other team. My daughter has grown in self‑assurance. The childcare centre has fed into he personality and abilities and helped her grow massively in terms of her development and milestones to the extent that she has consistently exceeded her milestones. The team and management truly recognise the kid’s abilities and personalities and do the best to talk to and communicate with parents at all times regarding any issues and concerns. It is highly kid led and centred.
My daughter has consistently been a fussy eater and with adore patience and understanding she has also started eating better and tried foods I thought she would never eat.
The manager has put her heart and soul into managing Il Nido and she is highly much on the shop floor part of the kids’s lives and part of her incredible team of keyworkers. From the day my daughter started she was cheerful with all team and her keyworker took great care of her to induct her in.

There is an element of ‘free flow’ in the childcare centre which I believe my kids have benefited from over time, making friends and interacting with others. The outdoor space is private, secure and protected, also away from noisy traffic and passers-by. This is a huge tick for a small childcare centre!
Also, team members are highly supportive if you are experiencing the usual parenting challenges and give constructive advice, if only they could write a book…

His self‑assurance has increased greatly which I think has a lot to do with the adore, care, and assistance that was provided at the childcare centre. I would definitely highly suggest this childcare centre. All the team are expert, attentive and welcoming. My little boy has consistently loved the home-cooked food, lots of variety. I sense highly lucky our kid has spent his early years at Il Nido. My little boy attended Il Nido from May 2014 until September 2017.

The space is private, secure, spotless and well equipped. On her first day, my daughter walked in and never looked back! Would highly suggest this childcare centre.
