Busy Bees Leeds Pudsey Lowtown

My girls have attended Kindercare – Pudsey (Part of the Treetops Family) since August 2017 and they have settled in very well. The baby room staff have been amazing with them. I had lots of worries with them starting nursery with allergies but the girls alongside the deputy manager have dealt with it well and have catered for their needs. The girls are always happy when I collect them from nursery and come running to say “hi” before running off to play again. To me that’s a sign that they’ve had a fun day. You are given full feedback on their day from meals eaten (alternatives always given if they don’t like something) to nap times and nappies.
They’re due to move into the next room at the end of January and I know visits have been planned for them to help them settle into the next room. They are also holding parents evening this month which gives me chance to speak to their key worker to find out how they are developing.

Nursery has really helped their development so far.

I’m very happy with my son’s care at nursery. When he first started he wouldn’t listen and sometimes wasn’t very nice towards his friends. Now his listening skills have progressed thanks to the staff, he is also much kinder to his friends too. The staff have amazing patience and I would recommend to everyone.

My 3-year-old has attended this nursery since she just turned 2 and it really is amazing. All the staff are so lovely and accommodating, she has built great bonds with them and I feel happy and comfortable leaving her knowing she is in great hands. She always looks forward to going and asks me if it’s a nursery day every day and I feel it has helped with her development. The management are so helpful, they help you with any queries and put you at ease regarding any concerns. I highly recommend it, our son will be starting in September and I know what a great experience he will have.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for two years, and not a day goes by when she doesn’t come home excited, full of talks of what she has done. We could not be happier.

Busy Bees has been a blessing. Our daughter loves it there and it’s clear she’s learning a lot. The new online tools they’ve brought in really help us to keep up to date with what she’s up to.
My only quibble would be how long it can take sometimes for someone to get back to you when you have a question.

Since my son has moved to the older room and we have spoked with staff about the lack of information, communication has really improved. We know exactly how my son is doing, get updated every day through the app, and sometimes get homework to do with him that’s an optional extra to use as suits him. Really helpful staff. Grateful for good communication and our son is enjoying himself.

We are very happy with our nursery. We have an excellent relationship with my child’s keyworker, who speaks positively about our daughter and communicates regularly about her days. She loves coming to nursery. We had a few problems for a while when she first started and I felt we had to explain on numerous occasions about her food intolerances, but all is well now.

My little girl has come to the nursery since a very young age and has had a lovely experience. The staff are very caring. The photos I see on the app always look fun. I am looking forward to being able to come inside and see the nursery more.

This nursery is excellent. They know my child inside out and he enjoys coming every day. They are very thorough with all aspects, including communication, feedback and guidance. My child started during lockdown, in February 2021 and after never being able to leave him in the care of others for an extended amount of time. The manager was reassuring and supportive. I get the impression that staff turnover is quite high, but regardless, I would recommend unequivocally.

My little boy started in November 2022 at the age of 4 months old. I was very anxious and nervous about putting him in nursery so young, but the manager was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable about putting my son in nursery at a young age. I love seeing photo updates on the app and how happy he is at nursery. He has settled in really well and I believe that this is down to the kind and caring nature of the staff in the baby room. My son is now 7 months old and is really thriving in his development, and I do believe this is because staff support and encourage his developmental needs.
