Ghyll Royd Pre-School and Nursery

It is a school that is completely committed to each and every student within their care. We have two young kids at Ghyll Royd Pre-School and Childcare centre and they have both flourished which is due to the fact that their needs are tailored for. Most importantly, they adore going to school here! The grounds are remarkable and even the chef receives rave reviews. It is a positive and encouraging setting and we are proud to be a part of this incredible community. Starting with the headteacher, a culture of focus on the individual student permeates through the entire team.

My little boy is absolutely thriving thanks to their dedication to Early Years development which is delivered by attentive, nurturing and highly qualified professionals. Every member of the team are passionate and my little boy loves each one of them.
The team consistently make time to ensure the parents are heard, working with you each step of the way.
I couldn’t have asked for a more inclusive and nurturing setting for my little boy. He truly loves attending and his happiness shows! Ghyll Royd is truly outstanding.

Both my kids have attended. Team are so attentive and attentive, it’s like an extension of your family. The kids have the greatest journey with varied activities, fantastic outdoor spaces and they can’t wait to go each day. The childcare centre and pre-school at Ghyll Royd is a highly nurturing setting where little ones can truly thrive.

I have two kids attending at the moment, both started soon after turning two and one of them will be starting school in September. They provide outstanding care and with the childcare centre being attached to an independent primary school, they can take advantage of all their facilities such as the music room, sports hall and extensive grounds. Exceptionally impressed and pleased with Ghyll Royd Pre-School and Childcare centre.

Initially, he was upset about going, which is highly normal but passed swiftly and he soon enjoyed going. He particularly likes the childcare centre team and his new school friends. He is highly cheerful at the childcare centre, therefore, I’m highly cheerful. Additionally, I’m exceptionally pleased with the updates, activities and all the team, my son is certainly thriving. Thank you Ghyll Royd. My son settled exceptionally quickly into Ghyll Royd Pre-School and Childcare centre.

They are all highly supportive, welcoming and answer any questions you ask. I would say this is the best childcare centre, my son has settled truly well and the curriculum is remarkable. My son has come on since starting at this childcare centre and I would give this childcare centre 100 percent for everything they do with the kids. The childcare centre is remarkable and all the people that work there are outstanding.

The team seem excellent at their job. They organise loads of various activities for the little ones. My kid got used to the setting highly quickly and now goes with excellent pleasure and excitement. It genuinely feels like an extension to the family! The building and surrounding areas are absolutely fantastic and give plenty of opportunity for loads of time spent in the open, which they do. The one (and perhaps only) thing I would suggest as an improvement is the menu. At the moment it seems highly potato-pasta-pizza heavy, which has gotten our kid somewhat used out of eating loads of veggies like before. In addition, there are often sugary sweets given to the kids as an extra gift or treat, which is a highly compassionate gesture, but personally, I’d prefer more focus on healthy eating habits. Overall I am exceptionally pleased with the childcare centre.

My son (now 10) started this pre-school at 2 years old and followed through into the Key Stage 1 and 2 years. He is currently preparing for secondary school entrance examinations. My daughter (2 years old) only started in February 2017 but has settled immediately. The team and provisions at Ghyll Royd Pre-school and School are unbelievable. Consistently going the extra mile for every kid. Keep up the remarkable work and THANK YOU! 5 star pre-school.

The team are inviting and welcoming, and the childcare centre feels like home from home to my little girl. The outside space is enormous and the kids are out whatever the weather. I can’t think of a better place for her to spend her early years. Ghyll Royd is the most remarkable childcare centre.

The kids journey a excellent variety of activities and team make great use of all the resources available to them to ensure a enjoyable discovering journey is had by all.
