Farthing Wood Private Day Nursery

We had a bad journey with a childminder and we were so nervous about sending her into a larger setting as she’s a lockdown baby! She is so excited to go to childcare centre every morning and comes out full of life and excitement ready to tell us what she has been up to! The team are incredible! So compassionate and attentive and truly genuinely interested in the kids and their families. 5 stars aren’t enough to give this lovely place! Farthing Wood Childcare centre have had such a positive influence on my daughter.

Farthing Wood came up near and recommended and they didn’t disappoint. They have made the transition to the childcare centre pleasant and pain-free. The kids delight in being there and they are well looked after. At the end of the day, we get a report of what they have been up to and how they have eaten which is all useful info. The prices are more than fair and the quality of care and friendliness of team is excellent. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. Due to our old childcare centre closing down during the covid period we needed to find an alternative and fast.

He feels loved and looked after. Returning to work was a wrench for me and after a negative start at another childcare centre, Farthing Wood totally smashed it. My son has come on leaps and bounds. After two lockdowns I was worried he had lost his self‑assurance. He is Mr Confident now. I cannot express how much all the team here care about each and every individual kid and meet all their needs. His dietary needs are met and thanks to the fabulous home-cooked, nutritious food, he devours all food and snacks. Even his food allergies are catered for. She is incredible!
Nappies are not changed by a clock, each kid is seen as an individual. This is vital when looking for a childcare centre. The garden space might be small but each kid loves it, a real cosy secluded space for all kids to playtime in. There is plenty of room as they development when ready. Incredible! Farthing Wood truly care for my son.

He loves childcare centre and consistently has plenty to tell me after his busy day, they manage to teach through playtime and he has learnt so much in the time he has spent here. I adore seeing his development through his discovering journal and will miss everyone and I’m sure he will too when he leaves for school. A highly loving, cheerful place for your kid. My son has been attending Farthing Wood for almost 3 years, the team have all remained the same throughout and he has a remarkable bond with them all.

They tell me how much she has eaten and what she’s eaten over the day so I know exactly what to give her when she gets home.
I sense so blessed to have found a childcare centre like Farthing Wood to send my daughter to and that I can sense so relaxed while she is there.
I could not suggest Farthing Wood highly enough for your kid to go to. My daughter has social anxiety when it comes to strangers and I was so worried to take her to childcare centre but I had absolutely no need to worry, she was welcomed with open arms and looked after so well that it only took her a couple of days to settle, which is a miracle in itself.

All of the team are absolutely incredible, welcoming and attentive. They consistently go the extra mile and I adore the personal touches including getting their development scrapbooks to keep! My little boy is absolutely thriving and I know that is thanks to this incredible childcare centre and everyone who cares for him. He comes out smiling every day and ready to go back the next. He eats incredibly well and consistently has a variety of healthy, delicious meals. Every day is different, they do so many activities indoors and out and they are constantly helping my kid to develop and grow. I couldn’t ask for more, this childcare centre is like a home away from home. I could not have chosen a better childcare centre for my son to attend.

We are pleased overall with the care of our son at the childcare centre we could not have asked for better team to care for him in the childcare centre they are doing a remarkable job.
They did a remarkable job with our daughter and her overall development was outstanding and truly gave her and our son the attitude to achieve anything in life as we do.

Farthing Wood is my little girl’s second home, she is consistently so cheerful to go and has the biggest smile on her face when picked up. She has come on so much in the last 18 months and Farthing Wood have been such a big part of this. The team are just incredible and treat her like she is one of their own family. The team truly do go above and beyond. It truly puts me at ease knowing how cheerful she is whilst I’m at work. This place truly is just incredible, 5* keep up the incredible work you all do! Highly suggest!

I find the team welcoming and approachable, they go above and beyond for the kids. My kid has had significant improvement in all areas of discovering since joining Farthing Wood. My kid joined Farthing Wood after being at another childcare centre for twelve months which I was not cheerful with.

You can tell the team truly care about the kids, their needs and also the needs of parents. From starting Farther Wood at the beginning of the year, the team have been so accommodating, welcoming and attentive. My little boy has progressed amazingly since starting there. Meals seem incredible too! They also do lots of fantastic activities every day. We are so cheerful with the childcare centre and all team. Farthing Wood is an incredible childcare centre with fantastic team.
