At Little Stars Nursery Hillington we have been providing childcare and early education for children from birth to aged 5 for over 20 years. We are committed to providing the best possible experiences for both children and families and are proud to have over 500 families enjoying and thriving due to our facilities.
Here at Little Stars we like to encourage each child to reach their full potential: creatively, socially, academically and physically. We believe it is important that children learn through play to encourage intellectual development in young children, as well as supporting emotional, social and physical growth.
We are proud to work in partnership with all local council for pre-school funding.

September 10, 2024 at 5:01 amThe team are highly approachable and attentive and highly informative. Being able to view from the app your kid’s day and what they have been up to and photos is incredible and gives you a real insight into their time spent there. The size of the rooms and out door area are truly big and well used in all weathers. Our little one has been going to the childcare centre since June this year, she absolutely loves it and has a excellent time.

I can’t suggest the childcare centre enough, the team are remarkable and the facilities are excellent. The garden space is particularly excellent with lots of space and toys for the kids. Both of my kids have had a fantastic time there and I’ll be sad when my daughter eventually leaves to go to school. My son attended Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington from the age of one until he left to start school.

At only ten months she is excited about going to childcare centre and has a excellent bond with the team already.
I am provided with updates everyday via an online journal where I can monitor her schedule (meals, nappies, naps and activities).
The team are consistently cheerful to help with any questions I have and are exceptionally approachable.
Would definitely suggest.

My youngest starts in the baby room in a few weeks. Would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter has attended Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington for the last three years, from the baby room up to the preschool room.

My little boy has gone to Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington since April last year, it took him a while to settle but the girls in the Sunflowers Room were remarkable with him.

We’ll done girls, keep up the great work, you are all a credit. My son absolutely loves childcare centre, we were so scared as he hasn’t had much interaction due to lock down but the girls have been excellent and he can’t wait to see them when we arrive.

The team do incredible keeping her journal up to date with what she is doing in childcare centre and what topics they are doing. The outdoor space within the childcare centre is incredible and well thought out. Being a qualified childcare centre teacher myself I would highly suggest Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington to any parent. My daughter has been attending Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington since October last year and struggled with the transition to childcare centre, as did I but the team and management were so reassuring and after a couple of days she was settled in and runs into childcare centre with such excitement to see all her friends and the ladies.

My other little girl has been attending the childcare centre since nine months old and I have never had any problems. All the team are lovely and so attentive towards the kids. The childcare centre itself is large and excellent outdoor area for the kids to playtime. Have consistently highly recommended to friends and family with small kids looking for childcare providers. February 13, 2025 at 2:19 pmThe team are all highly welcoming and have helped enormously with the big milestones he has faced through his time there, such as toilet training and preparing for school. I particularly like that the kids can playtime outside almost every day, the outside playtime area is highly impressive and one of the reasons we chose this childcare centre. I couldn’t be happier with the care that Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington have provided over the years. My son is due to turn five and has been attending Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington since he was one.

March 19, 2025 at 5:00 pmFrom the beginning the updates, friendliness and welcome to not just my son but to myself, husband and even my older son. The manager is highly approachable and will consistently get back to you as soon as possible if you email. During such difficult times they have been able to reasure me that they are following all the goverment guidlines for covid and still provide a welcoming, attentive setting for my son. The outdoor space is incredible given they are in the middle of industrial estate. Going to be highly sad to not be bringing my son upto the childcare centre anymore. Finishes in June for school. I moved my son out of a childcare centre into Little Stars just before his 2nd birthday and it is the best thing I ever did.

The team are welcoming and attentive and all his belongings are consistently accounted for. I will suggest this childcare centre to anybody I speak to and the location is excellent, with an outstanding outdoor playtime area! I will be sad to see my son leave in August this year. My son joined little stars in May 2021.

We received verbal updates at the end of every session and could access more information and lovely photos through his personal journal, which was consistently updated daily. Every member of team came across so expert, welcoming and overall, just lovely people. We are delighted with the service received from this childcare centre.

My son’s father and I consistently check the online journal so see how ours sons day has been. He consistently has a excellent time and is consistently taking part in enjoyable and educational activities. We were both nervous about our son starting childcare centre as he hadn’t mixed with other kids due to lockdown, but he truly has a excellent time socialising with everyone at Little Stars. June 13, 2025 at 10:25 amThe only reason they weren’t there until P1 was because we wanted our wee ones to go to their school childcare centre when they were eligible to help with the transition. My two loved Little Stars Childcare centre and we’re sad to leave. The outdoor space is well used in all weathers. The online journal is a excellent way to keep parents updated with information, development and pictures of the little ones enjoying their playtime and discovering. We have had both our daughters in Little Stars Childcare centre Hillington from 8 months to 3 years and they have been excellent.

The team are incredible, anytime I’ve come to them about my son they have consistently came back with excellent advice, feedback and been interested in how they can help with things I have concerns about. Team are consistently so welcoming and my son loves them all. One hundred percent suggest this childcare centre.
