August 9, 2018 at 12:00 amSince moving home our son has moved from one Busy Bees nursery to another. We were very happy with his original nursery and have not been disappointed by the new one. In fact, our son has settled in beautifully and this is thanks to the staff and management at nursery, we couldn’t be happier with the way the transition has been handled. The facilities are good, the rooms are clean and well organised, there is a focus on development and as a parent, I feel welcomed to raise any queries that I may have.

January 28, 2019 at 12:00 amThe manager and her team run a fantastic nursery with a very nurturing ethos. The children have lots of fun and opportunity to learn through play in the preschool ‘buzz’ room. The staff are great. Would recommend!

February 20, 2019 at 12:00 amFollowing relatively recent changes to management, we have seen big improvements and couldn’t be happier.
I have children in the preschool class and toddler class – both are extremely happy and skip into their rooms every morning.
Good balance of free play and structured learning which is adapted to the needs and likes of my children. Additional classes offered in French, music/dancing and football. Good varied menu. Large airy rooms and big outdoor space. Recent investment in renovation.
Dedicated staff on the whole who seem to genuinely care.

March 6, 2019 at 12:00 amMy two and a half year old son has been cared for by the nursery since he was nine months old. Staff have always been incredibly caring and genuinely excited as he makes progression with walking/talking, etc. Each day his carer tells me an anecdote of the day, which makes us all giggle.
We chose the nursery because it is purpose built, so feels much more spacious than others and there is step free safe and free access to outside areas. Activities vary from day to day, with crafting, singing, dancing, role play and outdoor play.
He loves it so much, some days, I have to pull him away from what he’s doing!

October 14, 2020 at 12:00 amWe were worried our daughter would take a while to settle back into the nursery after lockdown, but she runs in excitedly every day she goes! All the staff are very caring and clearly love working with all the children.
We wanted to phase our daughter going back 3-days then 4-days a week, and the nursery was incredibly accommodating. Would highly recommend!

December 16, 2020 at 12:00 amWe have recently moved to the area, having to move our 18-month-old boy from his nursery where we used to live, to Busy Bees at Hornbeam Park. We checked out a few nurseries in the area, and none gave us that feeling until we visited Busy Bees. When we had a look around, the manager showed us all the areas our boy would be playing in etc, the facilities were great and it just felt right.
We signed up and although he had a relatively rocky start (as expected when moving to a new nursery) he settled after a week or so and now loves nursery days, picks his bag up and is ready to leave in the morning to go. He toddles in happily now and we can tell he loves his time there. The feedback we get of an evening when collecting him is genuine, useful and positive.
Couldn’t be happier with our decision to move him to this nursery.

They always accommodated our request for any changes and we are as parents are so grateful for this. My daughter has been attending for the past 3 years and she was always happy. The outdoor area is really nice with good equipment and toys. Good choice of healthy food. Nice and clean facilities. I can recommend!

August 27, 2021 at 12:00 amI have two children at this nursery that visit on a part time basis (3 full days / per week). The staff are very friendly and approachable. Both my children adore their key workers. The staff greet my children every morning and give me direct feedback at the end of every day. There is also a ‘parentzone’ app that provides a more detailed account should I want to find out more. The food is varied and plentiful. A menu is listed on a board at the entrance for all parents to view. The facilities are also great – lots of space both inside and out. My oldest child will leave this nursery in September to start school but the staff have worked hard to prepare him for the move. He has a good understanding of numbers and letters and they have encouraged him to be more independent which should help his transition. In summary, this is a great nursery that I would highly recommend.

August 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has excelled at nursery due to the dedication, commitment and skills of the team that run his room.
He is due to start school as the youngest in the year and I have no worries at all that he isn’t ready due to the preparations they have done with the group. He loves to go every morning and asks to go on weekends too. He loves the team that cares for him and talks fondly of them all.
We will miss them all when we leave!

August 27, 2021 at 12:00 amHighly recommend Busy Bees, Hornbeam Park! In the short period of time, our child was at their preschool setting, we experienced excellent care from a really great team. We were made to feel completely welcome, and, given the circumstances of the last 18 months, we were confident our child was in safe hands with the Covid measures in place. The staff we encountered were always friendly and the setting was great at communicating with parents. Will definitely consider a place at Hornbeam Park for our new baby.

The care they provide is excellent and every member of staff is caring, friendly and approachable. The activities they do with the children are well varied and the preschool project that is undertaken is brilliant in getting children ready for preparing them for their next steps in starting school. I would highly recommend this nursery to any prospective parent.

August 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy two children have been very well looked after at this childcare. All staff are very friendly and reassuring for both my 2 and 4-year-old. Staff have answered all queries and management are extremely professional and considerate.
The transition to Preschool and the preparation has been fantastic and really well-considered to cover things like group time, getting changed for PE and lunchtime.
There has also been a great programme of development for language, letter recognition and beginning to write his own name.
My son has been welcomed into the group and I am sad to see him leaving the friends he has made on his next transition to school.
My 2-year-old has been engaged in lots of activities that provide a range of media and are well prepared for outside and indoor play.
The outside space is the best I have seen when looking for a nursery and the building is large, airy and set up for the purpose.

September 6, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been attending Busy Bees for four days a week since January 2021 and absolutely loves it – she walks herself in with a big smile on her face! The members of staff are amazing, we feel that they really care about our daughter and her development. We get frequent updates on the app throughout the day, including photos, and always get a good summary of her day at pick-up time too. She’s built really good relationships with the staff in her room and even staff who aren’t in her room greet her in the morning, it’s such a lovely welcoming environment. The nursery building is purpose-built and has excellent outdoor space, the children spend a good amount of time outside and take part in lots of different activities, which is great. Our daughter has developed so much since being at Busy Bees and really benefits from the social side of nursery life. We would highly recommend this nursery!

June 13, 2022 at 12:00 amDespite the recent turbulence of staffing and sickness, due to covid (of staff and children alike), my daughter has always emerged with a smile on her face, no more so than since moving to Buzz in January 2022. She’s challenged, she’s learning, she’s building confidence in a safe and fun environment and the carers do truly care. Thanks for making the hard decision to leave my child to go out to work, that little bit easier.
