Busy Bees Harrogate Pannal Ash

I put this down to the inviting and welcoming nature of all the team. The childcare centre has had a recent renovation and all the facilities are new, spotless and in great condition. The management are approachable and accommodating. They offer the opportunity to add the odd day a week if needed. I couldn’t rate Pannal Ash, Busy Bees, enough! My daughter has attended Pannal Ash, Busy Bees for six months now and is highly cheerful and settled.

It’s been highly difficult for everyone during covid but I sense secure sending my daughter as I know all the correct procedures are in place. Excellent childcare centre – team are lovely and supportive, updates is great through newsletters, emails and their app, my little girl is consistently discovering and is cheerful to be there.

She has now been there nearly 3-years, working her way up through the toddler room and now in the pre-school room. She has been highly cheerful all the way up through the stages and consistently come home cheerful. Her key workers have been lovely. The childcare centre has a excellent outdoor playtime area and plenty of indoor activities too. The childcare centre was remarkable during lockdown at keeping us updated and preparing us for wider (non-keyworker) re-reopening, allowing parents to choose when they were cheerful for their kids to return with no pressure. The key workers go out of their way to have a great handover at pick up time, and the app keeps us updated on mealtimes and occasionally what the kids have been up to during the day. Would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter started in the baby room at the childcare centre in 2018.

He’s building a excellent relationship with his key worker, she has shown so much care and attention (and patience!) with him whilst he settles in, as have all the team in the Bombos room. His room leader has bent over backwards to make sure the childcare centre offer different alternatives to some of the food items that he’s struggling with whilst settling in. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the start he’s had at Busy Bees so far and this is down to all the lovely, welcoming and attentive Bombos team. Massive thanks to the room leader and all her team! Our little boy has recently joined Bombos at Busy Bees and I’m so pleased with the level of care and assistance he’s received, to make sure he truly settles into childcare centre.

Covid has made a huge difference, which is a shame. I can see through the windows a lack of pictures and items on the walls, which I don’t understand! Please make the rooms more colourful! Why are they so grey! Colour, please! This is my second kid to attend this setting and we are still highly pleased with the level of care.

As you would expect, my little girl has been upset to leave me for her childcare centre sessions. The team have been so compassionate and attentive to her, but also to my own anxiety. My daughter’s key worker, in particular, has been truly welcoming, compassionate and optimistic about her days there and a excellent source of comfort. My daughter is exclusively breastfed and the team have gone out of their way to facilitate getting her on a bottle of breast milk! Anything I discuss with them about my daughter’s care, they are willing to try to facilitate, even if it’s an inconvenience to them. They are all so unfailingly compassionate! I am highly pleased to have chosen this childcare centre! My daughter has recently started at Busy Bees, Pannal Ash.

In Harrogate we have so many choices of childcare centre but I’m so glad we choose Pannal Ash. We currently go twice a week, soon to be three and she absolutely loves it. I know from the regular updates, photos and food menus (of which my daughter eats everything) she is in secure hands. The team are outstanding under what are highly challenging times. If you are thinking about where your kid should go, look no further. Plus, excellent drive in/drive out car park, it truly does make a difference. My daughter has been going to Pannal Ash (Busy Bees, Harrogate) for the past five months.

Separate pedestrian gates for entry/exit with guide markings in the carpark is a must to avoid accidents. Potential for over-reliance on the app at handover, the app is great however, if faulty, not updated or backlog of approvals, can lead to information being available after a time when issues can be raised. These points do not detract from this being an outstanding childcare centre in our journey, this being our third kid going through. Clearly marked car parking spaces are required.

They have themed weeks where kids learn something different every day, they keep you updated with what’s been happening in a monthly newsletter. They have also launched Parent Zone so you see your kid’s food intake, nappies and any achievements. I like the fact they get the kids playing outside as much as possible as well as teaching them their golden rules like tidy up, share, listen etc some of this is done through songs which my little boy likes to sing at home. All the team are truly supportive and supportive and they have done so well with all the new COVID restrictions put in place in 2020. I know my kids are as secure as possible and they truly adore going. I have two kids at this childcare centre and I could not be happier as the team are all welcoming and know each kid individually.

Their updates on any necessary changes has been remarkable, the assistance the team provide to me as a single parent is incredible, they truly are part of our family. As an ex-teacher, appropriate developmental discovering is something I look for and I have been highly impressed with the range of discovering materials and the regular changes they make and their commitment to continuous improvement of an already outstanding service. My kid is now in their pre-school and has been with them since just under a year old and I am highly cheerful to have found such a excellent setting for my kid to socialise, playtime and learn. They also offer a excellent, varied, healthy menu on a long rota so they are not repeating the same meals often and have the new app ParentZone giving notifications of your kid’s development and daily activities, which I adore to keep connected to while at work. We all know COVID-19 has thrown a rather large curve ball and Busy Bees at Pannal Ash have been incredible.
