Little Green Rascals Day Nursery Flaxton

All team are welcoming, expert and keep us updated. They obviously truly care about the kids and like working there. It’s a highly positive setting all round. Little Green Rascals Organic Day Childcare centre is outstanding – we completely trust the team and know that our daughter is getting outstanding care and having a excellent time.

Making the decision to go back to work was truly difficult because we weren’t sure we would be able to find a childcare centre we trusted to care for her, especially when she is vulnerable in the winter time and prone to hospital admissions. Little Green Rascals are absolutely incredible! The childcare centre team are so loving, attentive and expert. Our daughter is so cheerful there 3 days a week and we have total self‑assurance in the manager to hire truly credible team. Our key carers have been fantastic and one especially made the transition back to being a working mum more manageable knowing our little one was in secure hands. Our daughter was born exceptionally premature and fought for her life in a neonatal unit before coming home with us.

After a bad journey at a previous childcare centre, he is worried about being left on his own but now he doesn’t want to leave this childcare centre! A big thank you to everyone involved. Everyone at the childcare centre has been highly supportive in helping getting my boy settled.

The ethos of Little Green Rascals is exceptional across-the-board. The childcare workers at Flaxton are fantastic. My little girl cheers as we arrive, she loves her carers and has made lots of friends. The toys and activities are enriching and varied. Five stars! We have had an overwhelmingly positive journey at Little Green Rascals over the last two years.

He is absolutely thriving and I credit much of his development, language and social skills to being here. He has recently moved into pre-school and the transition has been incredibly smooth.

He absolutely loves the time he spends here. He has loads of friends, gets on truly well with all team (and not just his keyworker), and he particularly likes the amount of time spent outdoors. The activities offered are remarkable, from yoga to music and sports, and my son truly looks forward to them.

Nutrition and developing great food habits is important to me and not only does my son delight in his meals but I can see everything that he eats on the easy-to-use app, along with other notifications.

I know that I can talk to the team and management about anything and it is clear to see that they delight in having my son there as much as he enjoys being there. My son has been at Little Green Rascals, Flaxton, for just over a year since we moved from London.

We considered and tried a few different day nurseries and settings, but with such outstanding, dedicated team, lovely design and magical surroundings, a high standard of cleanliness and incredible food, the only thing that I am disappointed with is that I am not of preschool age to go to sessions myself. We have every self‑assurance in this childcare centre, the fully hands-on management team and the birth-to-two room (Wiggly Worms) that our kid is in; that he will not only be well cared for by his exceptional key person and remarkable team but offered an journey that he does not get at home and enjoys! Thank you to everyone there for welcoming us. I cannot praise Little Green Rascals Flaxton highly enough.

It is set in a gorgeous village and the childcare centre itself overlooks a little church, fields and countryside which my husband and I adore when approaching Little Green Rascals.
My son loves going and instantly smiles when he sees his key worker and is cheerful to be left with her. The family app that Little Green Rascals use is exceptional as it tells you as the parent what your kid has eaten, nappy changes, nap times etc and any news the childcare centre has to share.
The team at Little Green Rascals are so lovely and loving towards my son and all the kids in their care.
The childcare centre itself is beautifully decorated with colourful accessories, wooden toys, cosy pillows and blankets and plants and trees covered with twinkly lights.
It also smells lovely with either the smells of home cooked food or essential oils.
My husband and I looked at other nurseries but no other childcare centre came close to this childcare centre. I would highly suggest Little Green Rascals Flaxton to everyone. Little Green Rascals Flaxton is a remarkable childcare centre.

The facilities are remarkable with incredible decorations and rooms. Outside space is incredible and lovely. The family app is a game changer. We were already huge advocates for this childcare centre but recently when our family fell on hard times, the assistance and care given by management and team has been breathtaking. Team are attentive, attentive, welcoming and approachable.

He’s been there for c.18months and we’ve nothing but positive feedback (both on management and childcare centre team). They have all made a real effort to know and understand our kid. They are attentive and handled his first room transition highly sensitively, balancing readiness and friendship groups. The days are filled with activities (lots of which outside) and we often bring home the latest picture or baking. Whilst it is clear he has a lot of enjoyable, I also know the team are thinking of the next stages of development and discovering opportunities. They use a fab mobile app to share key information real time – this is especially appreciated given my husband often works away.
On a more sombre note, we will be forever thankful for the way they handled my son’s febrile seizure last year. His key worker knew exactly what was happening, treated him correctly and had the ambulance there immediately. Too much to say about this outstanding place. Thank you. My little boy goes to Little Green Rascals Flaxton and loves it.

We were greeted by a chicken on the doorstep! The atmosphere is captivating, immediately sensing your kid is going to be in highly secure hands. The babies were splashing around upstairs, cheeky hens playing outside in the rain and the preschoolers playing with peppermint playtime-doh. We knew within minutes that she would adore it here. I am lucky enough to be able to collect her sometimes, and adore seeing her there. I adore the fact that she comes home dirty, sticky and covered in splashes of paint/ food and she’s had a change of clothes because she’s muddy/wet from playing outside. That’s how it should be.
The food and variety is remarkable – quite envious!. The exceptional manager is so welcoming, adores every single kid and strives to ensure their individual needs are met. All the team we have had contact with are so, so lovely. We are highly lucky that she has a place at Flaxton, we wouldn’t want her to go anywhere else. Thank you. I will never forget our first visit to look around.
