Woodlands Day Nursery and Pre-school Harrogate

It was the best setting for my kids as was encouraged and supported to grow in their unique little ways. The Covid 19 lockdown was a test for everybody and although it was a stressful time, we weren’t let down by the dedication of the team. The keyworkers were so reassuring and worked through the lockdown which made me confident that my daughter is being cared for by the people she knew. There were those rocky moments when the whole management changed and then followed by so many policies and rule changes including team changes. Since the arrival of the new manager, things have slowly got better which were quite reassuring to parents. This was seconded by the Deputy Manager, she’s highly supportive with queries and highly supportive, not to mention how attentive she is to babies at the Baby Room. My daughter will miss Woodlands especially the preschool so much. Woodlands has been the place for my 2 kids over the last years (first kid 9 years old, second kid 3 years old).

From the management all the way through, I’ve found Woodlands a highly welcoming journey for us and our kid. Upon the first visit, I was completely won over by the team’s delightful demeanour and this has been completely representative of the whole care over the last six months. The manager truly cared and made me sense so at ease for the first settling in session which was so important and I’ve felt confident with them from the start. Especially because he started at 6-months-old so I did have my own concerns with him being so young. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and he leans over to go to them in the morning, then I’m greeted by a smiley, cheerful boy every time I pick him up. If he has a tricky day, they’re there for cuddles to reassure him and I know he’s secure, certainly well-fed (probably eating them out of house and home!), bonding with them all and discovering so much. Adore it! I adore Woodlands and the lovely team.

All the team at the childcare centre are just lovely and incredible! When we went to look around we were greeted with smiles and everyone was so interested in our little one! The first impression was excellent! And they have not let me down one bit! Our little one loves going to childcare centre – he has the best time there and he is consistently so cheerful when he comes home! His development has flourished since he started and his language skills are also coming on excellent! They consistently have enjoyable activities for the little ones – and make something special of marked occasions like Bonfire night, Easter, Christmas and Valentine’s Day! All the team are highly attentive and welcoming. Our little boy got poorly a few months after starting and I got a prompt call to come assess, we ended up in hospital for a few days after this and I was so impressed with how they handled it all and sense I can fully trust them to care for my little one! This is my first kid and childcare centre was such a daunting thought, but I should not have worried.

The team are lovely, they genuinely care about the well-being and development of the kids. The care my son has received is impeccable. The manager has been incredibly accommodating with changing days/patterns and nothing is ever too much trouble. The team work so hard to provide enjoyable, educational and creative activities and consistently make a fuss on special occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter. They also have sign language and Spanish sessions which my little boy loves! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication, you truly go the extra mile. Keep up the great work! My son has attended Woodlands since 2021 and I have had a highly positive journey.

We will be sad to leave! My boy has been going here since he turned two, and the change we have seen in him honestly makes us so proud.
His educators are unbelievably compassionate and thoughtful and have gone the extra mile every time to help with his needs.

The team are welcoming, attentive and attentive. They know every kid so well and plan enjoyable and interesting activities for them to delight in. My son joined the baby room at 12 months and has settled in brilliantly. He loves Woodlands and has developed in so many ways since starting. I am so grateful to the team for all of their kindness and assistance. They truly do go the extra mile. I can highly suggest Woodlands Day Childcare centre.

Since new management last year, the childcare centre has come on leaps and bounds. Highly, highly fond of such an open yet structured discovering style designed for each kid. My kid’s self‑assurance and ability have come on leaps and I put that down to the childcare centre. An incredible childcare centre that cares highly much about each and every kid.

He is now 2 and a half and we are truly pleased with the assistance he receives at childcare centre and how they engage him with his interests. My son has been attending Woodlands Day Childcare centre since 2021 when he was a year old.

She is highly cheerful and has settled truly well. The themed days that take place as well as the events are consistently excellent ideas and well planned, for example, a visit of the fire engine and then discovering continued focusing on fire. The days spent at childcare centre are never the same and lots of different activities are consistently done to ensure the kids are stimulated. Our daughter loves attending Woodlands Day Childcare centre.

My daughter is exceptionally cheerful there. Has stress free childcare as everything is provided. A fantastic childcare centre where all team are attentive and compassionate.
