September 9, 2024 at 12:27 pmWe had to deal with the same issues over and over again.
I have informed the Manager and Room Leader many times that I constantly pick up our daughter in either dirty nappies, either wet/damp clothes/socks /slippers etc, and sometimes in both. She had consistently extra sets in her bag, and many times left untouched. (Except the last few days when they used another extra trouser).
So many times happened that her feet were freezing cold, so I have no idea for how long she was staying like that.
Apologies and promises were given, however not much improvement as we just had the same issue in the last week again.
Handover from some of the team was highly poorly presented, sometimes I had no idea what our kid has been doing during her session.
No web camera access is available, even though it is still advertised.
Food is not truly variable.
I highly do not suggest this place! I am incredibly disappointed with this childcare centre.

September 15, 2024 at 10:04 amWe have seen a lovely progression in our little one’s development since she has been at Wise Owl, we would suggest them to any parent looking for a secure, enjoyable and engaging home from home-like setting for their little one. We have had such a positive journey over the last three months our daughter has been at Wise Owl, the settling in process was highly easy, both us, as parents, and our daughter are highly well supported by team at all times, we believe she has settled quickly and well and has formed lovely bonds with the team and her peers!

My youngest daughter loves the childcare centre and the team; she is comfortable in the setting, and her self‑assurance has improved massively. The team care for and teach the kids like they are their own. The setting is highly welcoming, and the team are exceptionally approachable. My eldest daughter attends their holiday club and is consistently excited to go. The holiday club provides age-appropriate activities and experiences for the kids. The management team truly do try their best and is consistently looking for ways to improve the setting. The setting feels like one big family, and I am proud to say my kids attend here.

Team are incredible and the added bonus of been able to log on and view through the password-protected cameras, brings extra peace of mind. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre.

Throughout the pandemic, they have worked tirelessly to make sure cleanliness and the correct guidelines are adhered to as well as maintaining a high standard of care and attention to all kids to make sure they’re cheerful, secure and having enjoyable! I can’t suggest them enough. Password protected cameras for parents to check on our little ones and excellent rates for attendance and dinners. Adore this childcare centre. Wise Owl childcare centre is such a remarkable setting for kids.

November 23, 2024 at 2:09 pmEveryone has done a remarkable job. I am so cheerful that I trusted the manager; she reassured us that they were doing all the necessary changes to be back to the top.
My kid has developed massively since then, and they are keeping me up to date with everything that she is doing, giving me peace of mind that she is doing well.
All the team members are highly welcoming and expert, and my kid loves to go to the childcare centre. You can follow your kid’s activity through the childcare centre app, where they post photos, payments, your kid’s development stages, nappy change, what they eat (snacks and dinner) and the amount – meals are all homemade.
All the activities are highly interesting.
I’m not giving full stars because I think there is consistently room for improvement. Well done! My kid has attended this childcare centre since the beginning of 2021, experiencing ups and downs, but I can say that since the new manager started in July 2022 and added a new team to the childcare centre, things started to change for the better.

December 28, 2024 at 12:24 amHe’s got medical and behavioural problems however the incredible team took him under their wing and couldn’t do anything more for him. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre any higher. My son has recently graduated from Wise Owl Childcare centre.

February 6, 2025 at 1:23 amOur son has consistently been cheerful at Wise Owls but since the new management team were put in place earlier this year, we have seen a positive difference in both his journey and ours as parents. The new leader of the preschool room has been an incredible addition to the childcare centre, along with the rest of the team in preschool. They organise incredible activities for the kids, my son consistently comes home talking about how he has been baking, cooking, crafting, looking for insects in the garden and discovering new songs – there’s so much he enjoys. In addition to the activities in childcare centre, the kids are also taught about the world around them and the local community and they go on regular trips to the local care home, church and most recently to the museum to lay a wreath the kids had made on Remembrance Day. The team are engaging and they deserve recognition for developing a lovely setting for discovering. My son has attended childcare centre since he was one, he is now three and in the preschool room.

February 27, 2025 at 10:48 pmWise Owl’s closed Kid’s Den on 8th July 2022, with immediate effect. Only messaging parents on an app at 7pm on a Friday night, leaving many parents (including myself) without childcare from the next working day. I and many other parents paid for July’s childcare a month in advance and as soon as parents started asking when our money would be refunded they closed the commenting on the post. When I messaged them privately asking when I would be refunded for the 2 weeks of childcare that hasn’t been provided. I received a vague message back advising it would be in “due course”. It is now over two weeks later and I’m still no closer to knowing when I will be getting my money back. I’ve called and messaged multiple times to either get no response to messages (even though they have been seen) or to be told by management that it will be in “due course”. So not only has this company left me I used Kid’s Den (owned and run by Wise Owls) after-school club in Bottesford for the past school year.

March 18, 2025 at 6:55 amThe password-protected webcams are excellent for checking in on your kid during the day. Especially, when going through that difficult phase of separation anxiety. The app allows you to see what your kid has eaten. And if you have any concerns, you can message the childcare centre via the app and they get back to you truly quickly. During the pandemic, the childcare centre has done a excellent job of keeping the kids secure but still enabling them to have enjoyable.

June 13, 2025 at 1:43 pmShe started in September 2022 and will definitely go to reception next year straight from this childcare centre. Excellent educators, a excellent setting, and so many educational activities for the pupils. My daughter is still discovering most of the things, and I have no doubt that by the time she starts reception, she will be ready for it. She learns new things every day and is becoming more confident when speaking English bit by bit. And oh, they have great and healthy home-cooked meals. Thanks to the team for their commitment My daughter is all settled in now.
