September 5, 2024 at 2:08 pmThis includes indoors and outdoors as the under 2s are outside a lot more due to them having their own space and kids are given more choices in what they want to learn about. My daughter has built up excellent relationships with the team and I look forward to the continued changes over the next few months. I have noticed a excellent improvement since Bertram took over the childcare centre.

September 20, 2024 at 10:08 pmThe setting has been aesthetically improved with decor/paint/flooring but the playtime spaces, eg. garden, have been quite dramatically changed for the better. There is a excellent range of sensory experiences in the room and also new topics for discovering for the kids. The team are so welcoming, upbeat and informative. The team in the rooms clearly care for the kids and the new management are trying very hard to provide updates, share info and request feedback. We are very cheerful because our son is very cheerful! Our two kids have attended Enchanted Forest Childcare centre since 2014 (daughter, now six, left last year, son now three and a half attends four days/week) and we are thrilled with the upgrades, updates and improvements that have been made in the recent months since the takeover.

My two kids attend Happitots Childcare centre Thornliebank and I have been extremely cheerful with the overall journey, especially during the difficult time of Covid-19.

October 21, 2024 at 9:15 amI am cheerful with the care and assistance that the childcare centre has provided to my son in the last 21 months. The childcare centre menu is great and has a variety of options. The team is very attentive and keeps parents up-to-date with the daily routine.
Significant recent improvements have been done in the ambience of the childcare centre. The rooms and newly painted walls look brighter and spacious. The new menu options are healthy, and the childcare centre management is trying to improve the policies and practices.
Overall, I am satisfied with the childcare centre and would suggest to my friends. My son has been going to Enchanted Forest Childcare centre from the age of 11 months.

November 4, 2024 at 6:02 amI am more than comfortable that when I leave her every morning with the childcare centre team that she’s going to have a remarkable day of discovering, having enjoyable and most importantly in an setting in which she is secure and cared for. My daughter is excited to see her friends and the team every morning. I would like to receive more notice from the management team if there is a planned activity that requires me to prepare my daughter i.e. photography with less than 48 hours notice. Generally, I have no concerns and it is a remarkable, well-run place. I am extremely cheerful with my choice of childcare centre for my daughter.

November 18, 2024 at 1:32 pmMy little boy who is two is settling in after COVID. The team have been so patient with him and have allowed a very long settling in period for him. The team have supported me and my son so well through this transitional period. Additionally, the childcare centre is very spotless and the outdoor space is fab. The kids all seem very cheerful. This childcare centre is outstanding, it definitely deserves a high rating, I can’t fault it at all.

November 21, 2024 at 4:44 pmShe started before it was Happitots Childcare centre and this was fine…but since being taken over the standard has improved massively. The manager and all the team are very approachable and they have done an incredible job at improving the childcare centre. They really engage with the kids and it’s clear to see that they care about each and every kid. They have dealt with the Covid19 pandemic exceptionally and measures were immediately put in place to keep kids and team as secure as possible. My daughter attends 3 days per week and she is consistently excited to see her friends and educators.
My daughter is going to school this year and we are going to miss being part of the Happitots family. Our daughter has been attending this childcare centre for 4.5 years.

December 20, 2024 at 11:48 amI had an unexpected change in circumstances with going back to work full-time much earlier than planned, and the childcare centre has been so accommodating with me and my son. I really, really appreciate their attention to detail and the feedback when I collect my son is consistently so thorough. My son has so much enjoyable – he is really nosey, and there’s plenty to keep him entertained! I have recommended to two family members and a neighbour so far – exceptional childcare centre. I can’t suggest this childcare centre highly enough!

The childcare centre’s morning and afternoon snacks have improved quite a lot and now includes much healthier options than before. However, I wish they had Halal meat available since there is a huge diversity of ethnic background kids attending the childcare centre. I have had my daughter in this childcare centre for almost 4 plus years and ever since it was taken over the management has improved quite a lot.

Mainly due to my own anxieties about leaving our most precious girl in another’s care. The team at Enchanted Forest Childcare centre have been, and continue to be exceptional and I now very much trust them to care for my daughter and to do what is best for her in my absence.
My daughter has blossomed and loves going to childcare centre almost as much as she loves certain members of team. I would have no hesitation in recommending Enchanted Forest Childcare centre, Thornliebank to anyone. My daughter started attending this childcare centre when she was 2 and has now been attending for 1 year.

Thank you Enchanted Forest Childcare centre. My daughter used to go to another childcare centre for two months but she never stopped crying while she was there.

Inside has been decorated and there is a real polish to the childcare centre now whilst it still looks enjoyable and welcoming. Over the past few months, we have seen a lot of changes at the childcare centre.

Team are happier and the physical setting improvements (flooring, fencing, displays, etc.) have made a big difference to the ethos, atmosphere aesthetics as well as looking like it’s easier to spotless. We were very cheerful with our daughter’s development since she was one year old, attending here for a day or two.

March 25, 2025 at 7:38 amWhilst he has consistently enjoyed it, I have noticed a significant improvement in the childcare centre since Bertram have taken over. The setting both inside and out looks so much better, updates is also much improved and I sense much more involved in my kid’s care. The manager is very welcoming and approachable and seems to have a genuine passion for constantly improving the childcare centre. The team are all remarkable and are also seem much happier and more settled since the changeover. It’s become a lovely childcare centre full of cheerful kids and team! My wee boy has been attending the childcare centre for the last year and a half.

I have now decided to also start my one-year-old in this childcare centre. Since the childcare centre has been taken over, I have seen excellent changes being made within the childcare centre.

May 20, 2025 at 2:38 amThe childcare centre has had a full refurbishment and the garden has also been updated. Since October the childcare centre has started to provide much better quality snacks and these are rotated on a 3 weekly basis making sure the kids have a choice. The updates has also improved and we are now kept in the loop about events etc. The team are incredible and provide a attentive and nurturing setting for my daughter. My daughter attends this childcare centre 3 days a week and I can see a vast improvement within the last 3 months.

The atmosphere amongst the team has improved so positively and so much, as has the facilities within the childcare centre. The resources available for the 0 – 2’s have improved a excellent deal, as has the decor, layout and outdoor space.
The team are dedicated to the kids, show genuine care and build positive relationships with them. I am delighted as a parent with the changes and my daughter is the happiest she has been. My daughter has been in the childcare centre since January 2019.

July 9, 2025 at 3:39 amThe process from all of the team was exceptional. This was my son’s first childcare centre as I was starting back work after maternity. My son settled in right away and the team made this easy for me leaving him in their care with updates and photos of him having enjoyable! He has now been at the childcare centre for 3 months and I am so glad I made the decision to put him into this childcare centre. He receives a hot lunch every day which is consistently different and nutritional! They go for walks, they have enjoyable activities and I get a daily update of what he has done that day in his diary.
I am extremely cheerful with everything about this childcare centre and the team. My son started at Enchanted Forest Childcare centre, Thornliebank right after lockdown.
