September 5, 2024 at 5:24 pmThe whole team at West Road are really dedicated and hard working, putting in a huge amount of effort with the kids. My daughter loves going every day and she is developing really well and discovering so much. Would have no hesitation in recommending West Road. My daughter started at Pear Tree Childcare centre West Road in August 2022 and the improvement in the childcare centre between then and now has been really impressive.

September 6, 2024 at 11:31 pmThe team have worked incredibly hard to turn around some challenges they were experiencing and we are really proud of what they have achieved in a short space of time. The team provide a stimulating and nurturing setting for the kids and our kids adore the team. There has been an increased focus in getting the kids out in the community during the day for walks and picnics which they really delight in. We get pictures and updates each day so that we can see what they have been discovering and the enjoyable they have been having! I have two kids with the childcare centre (aged 1 and 3) and have been using the childcare centre for two years.

September 26, 2024 at 7:02 pmThey really find out what the kids are interested in and provide experiences to develop their interests further. They are currently raising tadpoles and hatching chicks. The Team are incredible, and really provide a secure and stimulating setting for my daughter, who loves going to childcare centre every day.

Keep up the great work guys you are doing incredible! My son has attended this childcare centre since 2020 and has been through all the ups and downs.
This childcare centre and its team have shown that they come to shine in the face of adversity and become a really excellent place for young kids.

November 2, 2024 at 6:52 amI was obviously very nervous about leaving her with strangers three days a week but the team have been remarkable and settled any nerves I had. Seeing how much my wee one enjoys her time there and how much the team seem to care about her and her individual needs/wants had made the whole process much easier. I know how hard everyone at West Road has worked recently to overcome some challenges and the results are obvious. I adore seeing daily photos and updates from her time at childcare centre and she normally seems to be having a excellent time. My daughter started at Pear Tree Childcare centre West Road at 10 months old when I returned to work last October.

November 29, 2024 at 2:17 amThere has been a excellent deal of time and effort invested by all the team, and their care and dedication is clear to see. We get daily updates and photos on what is happening with our kid at the childcare centre with lots of enjoyable activities and discovering opportunities each day. Weekly updates also inform us what is happening throughout the whole childcare centre. Our daughter has really enjoyed her childcare centre journey this year and we would suggest Pear Tree as a secure, enjoyable and nurturing setting for others. This year our daughter (2 years) has really enjoyed her time at Pear Tree Childcare centre.

December 1, 2024 at 5:06 pmMy 2-year-old loves his time at childcare centre and has no hesitation going in. The team are lovely and the activities they do with them are excellent. Food can be a bit hit or miss but is fine. My only reason for not giving it a five star is due to the fact they don’t spend much time out of the childcare centre setting. The garden however is excellent. We also get really regular updates through the app. The improvements over the last few months have been huge.

He is thriving, building self‑assurance and generally loving life at the childcare centre and this is all thanks to the incredible team and loving setting. Our son has attended this childcare centre since September 2022.

February 12, 2025 at 9:47 pmThey have made a real effort and we have never had any issues personally. The snakes and lizard and visit from RNLI recently made a real impression on him, keep up the great work. Pear Tree has obviously had its problems but my son really loves going.

Our son has really developed in all aspects since he joined last year.
Really appreciative of the recent trips along with the focus on educational discovering.

April 20, 2025 at 12:16 pmAs a first-time mum, it’s a nervous journey leaving your kid with strangers; however, the Peer Tree Childcare centre team have been incredible; they really get to know your kid, they remember all their likes and dislikes, know how to settle them and comfort them. I’m kept up to date throughout the day with what she is doing, her development, pictures and concerns. They have really put my mind at ease, and I know my daughter is being well looked after. My daughter started childcare centre at Pear Tree West Road this year.

April 23, 2025 at 1:43 amHe is the happiest he has been going to childcare centre which makes drop off so much easier as a mum having to sometimes rush off to work.
From his time in the room before when he was younger, the team there were just as incredible and still check on him now which is lovely to see how invested they all are and how much they really care.
Would suggest this childcare centre to anyone interested in sending their kid here. My son recently moved up to a new class and the team in the new room couldn’t do enough to assistance his transition.

April 25, 2025 at 1:34 pmThe team have gone the extra mile by bringing in their own pets (a snake and a lizard) and this kid-led approach is really working. The childcare centre has been doing some remarkable activities with the kids such as incubating eggs and watching tadpoles develop into frogs, which has generated some excellent conversations around our dinner table.

May 10, 2025 at 8:00 amI cannot fault the care my son now receives and how fantastic the current team are! The difference now from last year is like night and day. My son generally loves going to childcare centre and has such a enjoyable time and his social and discovering skills have increased and improved so much. The team in his room (and throughout the childcare centre) are incredible so cheerful and chatty and generally care a excellent deal about the kids and their jobs. Couldn’t be happier! Pear Tree Childcare centre West Road have been working extremely hard to improve in every area after the decline in standards and the bad feedback they got after they were inspected.

This not only develops knowledge with friends but makes my grandchild proud of his input. Such a excellent idea to have a Lifeboat team visit to promote safety at sea.

My daughter loves going to Pear Tree Childcare centre West Road, the updates we get daily are remarkable and it is clear from the planned activities in her room they are really focusing on kid development. The childcare centre has undeniably had its issues in the past year.
