September 3, 2024 at 12:40 pmThe kids loved going to the childcare centre, the team and all the activities.
The location is excellent with plenty of opportunities for outdoor discovering, which is at the very core of the childcare centre curriculum. Every member of team is very attentive and they genuinely seemed to adore their job and the kids.
The management is outstanding as well and the updates with the parents/carers is consistently clear and easy.
Couldn’t have wished anything better for our kids!
Keep up the excellent job! We’ve had 2 of our kids going to the childcare centre when we moved to Scotland from Italy for a total of three years.
It has been a excellent journey for the whole family.

October 20, 2024 at 6:17 pmHer time at the childcare centre has been a fantastic journey for the whole family, the team are remarkable, many of them have been in post for a number of years and have a wealth of journey. The access they have to the hospital grounds presents fantastic discovering and playing opportunities in a lovely natural setting, including taking part in nature school. Time at childcare centre and preschool has been one of the most precious things we have had, particularly through the difficult times during the pandemic. I would suggest this childcare centre wholeheartedly. My daughter started at Kidzcare Grange Loan when she was 13 months, and she has just left to start P1, aged 5, almost exactly 4 years on.

November 5, 2024 at 1:06 pmOur 4-year-old and 18 month old are thriving there as the team are so attentive and make the effort to tailor activities to each childs interests. The childcare centre has remarkable outdoor space and our daughter loves the nature school day. We sense very confident that the childcare centre is providing the best possible care. They also communicate really well with the parents so any strengths or challenges our kids face are celebrated and supported in a way we sense works best for them. We are really cheerful with the Kidzcare @ Grange Loan.

They have a whole park that they use for activities and have journeys organised to the Christmas market or the museum. Our son has been very cheerful and enjoyed his time there. All the kids were very welcoming to each other. We’re very pleased with the journey. The team were very attentive.
A couple of years ago there has been a bit of team turnover that impacted our son when he was about 2. I sense the situation has been better in the recent year. Our son attended Kidzcare from 1 to P1.

February 25, 2025 at 4:53 amA huge plus is the proximity to the local pond and hill, where they often go for walks, as well as being lucky enough to use the gorgeous hospital grounds.
I would definitely suggest this childcare centre. Both my kids are very cheerful at this childcare centre, overall team are very committed and welcoming and they take their time to give you a report about your kid’s day at pick-up.

April 14, 2025 at 9:23 amThey are approachable and make time to listen to any parental concerns and take steps to try and address any issues.
Space – Preschool area can be quite crowded and noisy at times but team have taken steps to try and manage this by using available space across the childcare centre so this has improved.
Nature School – is a massive positive and the highlight of my kid’s week. Staff – the team are very attentive towards the kids.

As key workers we also continued to use the childcare centre through lockdown and the stoicism, professionalism, calmness and compassion shown throughout was an absolute saving grace in the midst of the COVID chaos. We sense incredibly lucky that we have had the fantastic team at Kidzcare looking after our two kids.

The location is excellent – it is set in the grounds of the Astley Ainslie so the kids are out and about in nature almost every day. They run a nature school which my kid has really enjoyed. The team are so welcoming and enjoyable – obviously making a real effort to do interesting activities with the kids. It’s excellent! Kidzcare Grange Loan is an outstanding childcare centre and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a secure, inviting, enjoyable place for their kid to grow and learn.

June 9, 2025 at 6:04 amThey really make an effort to help the kids (and parents) ease into childcare centre life, and have a lot of patience when you have to keep adding medicines or special dietary requirements to their to-do list!
There are different events on through the year, including the Zoo lab (where the zoo visits the childcare centre with some animals), and a summer BBQ.
The Grange Loan childcare centre is based in the Astley Ainslie grounds, which is a fantastic setting – lots of rooms for the older kids (and toddlers) to roam about. Although the site is to close in about 5 years the childcare centre is taking an active part in plans to retain some/all of the site for the community. I would highly suggest this childcare centre – it’s been remarkable for us and our son, and we look forward to enjoying it for a great few years yet! Our son has been in the Babies room at Kidzcare (Grange Loan) for 7 months, and just loves it!
The team are really welcoming and form excellent relationships with the kids.

The kids have the opportunity to take part in lots of enjoyable, developmental activities which are often linked into seasonal variation. The childcare centre makes daily use of the incredible outside space and outdoor playtime is fundamental to the childcare centre’s approach. Our journey of Kidzcare has been exceptionally positive.
