I can’t suggest St Margarets highly enough. My son has just started last month.

September 20, 2024 at 8:53 amIt was a real stand out in terms of the discovering environments and pleasant atmosphere. I was also impressed that there are qualified primary educators on team for pre-schoolers and that, as well as playtime, there are activities built into the day to prepare wee ones for Primary 1. Letter and number recognition, and having routines for hanging up jackets and eating together are essential skills to make the transition easier.
I have to say, I have never once doubted my decision to send my son there. The team are welcoming and supportive, as well as firm when necessary. Play is often free form, and the outside space is incredible, but there is also a great balance of structured activities. The pre-schoolers visit as old peoples’ home every 2 weeks and this is a fantastic mutually beneficial arrangement. The food is planned by a nutritionist and encourages healthy eating.
I cannot suggest highly enough! We looked at several nurseries for our 4-year-old son before picking St Margaret’s.

September 25, 2024 at 7:34 amTime is taken with the kids when it comes to discovering and activities. My granddaughter has been there for 2 years and she has come on in leaps and bounds. It will be a sad day when she leaves to start school. St Margaret’s Nursery is a haven for kids with the loveliest, attentive team.

Very spotless and with underfloor heating which is excellent for crawling babies and kids playing on the floor. My 28-month-old boy used to hate going to the childcare centre but after moving to St Margarets he can’t wait to go there.
They have a big garden area to use and an indoor soft-playtime area which is ideal when the weather is horrible.
Great updates with team and managers. No problems at all. Brilliant childcare centre.

Outdoor space is exceptional – my son absolutely loves it. Other facilities are outstanding too, eg. soft playtime inside the childcare centre building. Very approachable management team. Great and supportive team.

The place is so lovely and inviting and inviting, with plenty to do and discovering seems enjoyable! Thanks for making the first week so easy. My 1 year old has just started at St Margarets and she loves it.

December 6, 2024 at 12:32 pmMy son particularly likes to playtime outside in the remarkable purpose built playtime areas or the soft playtime facility on the 1st floor. There are lots of different discovering activities too which are enjoyable & educational for the kids. The team are remarkable with the kids, also the management team are really supportive and welcoming. This childcare centre provides a secure and enjoyable setting.

December 8, 2024 at 9:11 amThough we moved to the other side of the town we still make the 45 minute trip to and from the childcare centre everyday because in my eyes it is entirely worth it. My daughter has attended the childcare centre from 3 months old and the care she has received has been of the highest level; the provision of the service from all the team is extremely attentive and expert.

January 9, 2025 at 3:08 amThere is a small car park making drop off and pick up safer than parking on the road. Children are encouraged to be independent and room sizes are small enough that kids are consistently involved and not left on the periphery. They use a secure online discovering journal which we find excellent for allowing Grandparents to see how their grandchild is progressing at childcare centre. Great facilities for the kids including soft playtime and a sensory room which are mainly used when the weather is bad and they can’t get into the garden.

January 12, 2025 at 3:00 pmNo pokey dark corridors or dodgy conversions, all the rooms are well equipped (with all the essentials neatly packed away out of little ones’ reach!) leaving the floorspace free for playtime. A range of stimulating activities, their own soft playtime room, plus huge garden area (a real premium in the city centre). The online discovering journal means grandparents can login and see our kid develop, even from 300+ miles away. They have amazingly varied hot meals so she only ever needs a light tea before bed – perfect for working parents. They are attentive to her every need, notice when she is under the weather, have supported her through many key discovering and development stages and keep setting new goals for the team to work towards with her. I would thoroughly suggest both the building and the team. From the minute you enter the bright, modern and spacious reception area, you sense like this is somewhere that encourages discovering, and has been designed and purpose-built to assistance that.

February 12, 2025 at 6:10 pmThe facilities outstanding, not just a huge outside garden with kids playtime house, slide, swing…they also have an inside softplay room, which is my son’s favorite place. Since I have sent my boy there he has learnt so many things and also met his best friend in there. I would suggest all parents to send your kids to this childcare centre, team are nice here.

The reputation and reliability of the most experienced room leader manager gives continuity of care. I cannot suggest this childcare centre more highly and thank them for taking care of both my daughters. Especially during changes and other challenges in our lives. We appreciate all the help. St Margarets Nursery is a remarkable private childcare centre that provides parents with the peace of mind to leave their kid in secure surroundings.

My Daughter loves to go to childcare centre and we value the relationships with you all. We are pleased with her development and happiness. Thank you to the Manager who supported us in difficult time. Your outstanding team are not my daughters mother but their role is just as strong. Thank you for providing a secure, contained place for my daughter to playtime and smile, and paint, glitter and glue. It’s been probably the single best decision we have ever taken to send our daughter to St Margaret’s Nursery. Big hearts shape little minds.

My son is cheerful to arrive in the mornings and all members of my family have been made to sense very welcome. The management are expert and accommodating and updates from the childcare centre is regular and informative. The facilities are attractive and the outdoor spaces are stellar. I would be very cheerful to suggest the childcare centre to other parents. My son has attended the childcare centre for the last 9 months.
