September 18, 2024 at 12:33 pmHe was welcomed by all the educators and settled without any problems He quickly moved into the sharks again settled with no problem. This is a credit to all the team – he knows everyone in the building and they know him. Every day he talks about all the excellent activities he does. Food, safety, space, Halloween, Children in Need, Bees – he has learnt so much and clearly enjoys it. He loves all the outdoor activities, especially Rugby Tots, so getting out every day is excellent for him. Thank you. Our son joined the childcare centre just before his 3rd birthday and went into the shark room.

October 7, 2024 at 11:51 amOur daughter has attended there since she was one, and she has loved her time in each and every room. The team have consistently been so welcoming, inviting and approachable and consistently take time to provide feedback and a review of her day. They have supported her to settle into childcare centre and have consistently been flexible and thoughtful with her transition to new rooms, tailoring each step to her. We will be so sad to leave due to our home move, but we will forever be grateful for all of the fantastic development opportunities, enjoyable, adventures, playtime and discovering that she has experienced. A huge heartfelt thank you! Thank you to everyone at New Town Nursery Too!

October 12, 2024 at 10:20 pmIn 3 years I’ve never seen anything that concerned me or had reason to question anything the team have done. Every time I’ve had a concern about my DD’s development or interactions, the team have been very cheerful to discuss it. Across 2 kids I’ve used several nurseries over the years, and I’ve stuck with this one the longest – a great balance of kid lead playtime and a little bit of structure to the day, my DD has made many friends in her childcare centre and is consistently cheerful to go. The team turnover is low for a childcare centre, the same key team have been there for a great length of time and there has been progression for some team, which is another great sign. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre to anyone, exactly what we wanted from a childcare centre. My daughter has been at this childcare centre 3 years, we’ve consistently had competent, compassionate and engaged team, great management, and a secure and cheerful setting for the kids.

Also due to unexpected day changes we needed, the childcare centre has been very flexible. Thank you for taking care of our babies! My son has been attending Busy Bees, Edinburgh Forres Street since January 2023, when he was 10 months old.

November 28, 2024 at 10:29 amThe food is healthy and prepared daily onsite and the kids go out every day into the fresh air. Activities are varied and the online journals inform parents of what the kids have been up to. Our kids very much delight in their time at New Town Nursery Too. As parents, we sense our kids are very well looked after. The practitioners have a high level of professionalism and have provided outstanding care in all of the rooms.

November 28, 2024 at 1:25 pmThe team are all so welcoming and all have the time to notice me and my daughter with a smile which my little girl loves. My daughter’s educators are just the best they are so hardworking and put a lot of thought into their activities for the kids. They make me sense really great about having my daughter in the childcare centre they are so attentive and I hear a lot of them at home. They made my daughter sense like a part of their class from day 1 and I could not be happier with the standard of care they give the kids on a daily basis. Ever since my daughter started at New Town too she has loved every minute of going there.

December 5, 2024 at 1:02 pmIt is with such a heavy heart that we have had to change nurseries and is only due to moving house. The updates from her and team is consistently incredible and it really feels like she knows each kid individually. There’s a real feeling of family and adore in the childcare centre and we only hope our new childcare centre can live up to the high standard set by the Manager and her team. The manager and her team at New Town Nursery Too have been so remarkable over the last 18 months looking after our son.

May 12, 2025 at 8:24 amHowever Busy Bees, Forres Street welcomed him in the most appropriate way, helped him to settle, has been patient with him and also with us as parents. The whole atmosphere gives you comfort that your little one will be secure and will have enjoyable, too. Special thanks to one member of team in particular, who dedicates fantastic attention to our son and we hope to stay long years here. We are very thankful! There are scary moments in a family’s life, especially when you move to a new country and your little son will start childcare centre in a language that he does not speak.

For the last 2.5 years, we have been with the childcare centre, we have come across very low team turnover. The team are consistently welcoming and approachable. The management team are very supportive and constantly provide updates to the parents. Thank you so much for all you have done in making our kids sense comfortable, cared for and secure which give us full peace of mind at work. Fantastic five-star care and I cannot suggest enough to all parents. Both kids adore going to the childcare centre and have very much enjoyed their time ever since they first started at 8 months old.

July 6, 2025 at 9:41 amThe team are excellent so compassionate and genuine. The settling-in period was really tough on him but with the help of the girls he got through it and now loves going. He’s consistently cheerful when I drop him off and pick him up. Great childcare centre, my little boy loves it.
